11/12/25 I came here when I was in town looking for some unique food options as a foodie. I came across this place thanks to google and yelp. The ambiance is very clean and spacious and can definitely hold groups. There is plenty of parking but off a somewhat busy street being downtown. I ordered the Texas heat bowl, and it was very tasty, filling and delicious. The service was quick and Efficient, you tell the server what you'd like if you prefer to make your own bowl or pick one of their options from the menu. I picked the Texas heat bowl and i was satisfied with it. Will definitely have to come back and try their other options. read more

We tried the spicy ramen bowl and the pork ramen bowl. Both were excellent and basically made to order. Healthy portions with plenty of protein. Super friendly service. The place was hopping for a Wednesday evening; popular with the Centre College students. read more

My son and I were in from out of town and we always gravitate towards poke restaurants when traveling. Place was busy and the owner was working his tail off to serve everyone exactly what they wanted in a reasonable amount of time. We both loved the rodeo poke bowl. Plenty of food for the price. Daniel's Poke and Ramen is an absolute gem. I was thoroughly impressed with Daniel, the owner and namesake of the restaurant, and his knowledge of the food. The poke bowls were very tasty and filling. It's obvious Daniel takes great pride in sourcing quality protein and produce. The price is very reasonable for the size of the bowls. I have been here a couple of times now. The food tastes fresh and it is prepared as you stand there. They will ask what you would like and then build the Pokémon bowl for you. I haven't felt hungry when I have finished. I hope they do well and will be around for years to come. read more

The owner is extremely friendly and makes it fresh for you just after you order. I ordered the Spicy Miso, but I loved everything that I saw from customers eating inside. If you are short on time, you can bring the Miso bowl with you since its in a nice carry out bowl. A perfect stop through Danville spot! read more

Daniel's Ramen and Poke is all handmade. Every time I go in it's almost always busy, the college students love it, and the locals love it. It's the closest thing to a ramen shop we have in town! Daniel always has a smile on his face and has great music playing, and even better service. Though the prices are high, the product still remains top notch. read more

The food there is amazing, not the best but it's pretty good!! I love the staff that work there too because they are very kind and welcome you with open arms. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. That's how wonderful this gem of a restaurant is. I can't tell you which is better: the staff or the food. Because both are phenomenal. I've never had poke before and I'm so thankful this was my first experience with it. It was so refreshing to have such happy and helpful people waiting on me. Definitely recommend. I was skeptical of this place at first but I'm glad my wife convinced me to go with her! Now that I love it I don't know why I had my reservations. I get the poke bowl with the spicy tuna and it's amazing! Love this place and will be coming back for the foreseeable future! My only complaint? They aren't open on the weekend!!! (I guess that is still a compliment to them) Fun Fact: This place used to be an orange leaf and the orange colored furniture is still there. Oh the memories! read more

Recently moved to Danville from Oahu, Hawaii, so needless to say, we are a bit picky with our poke. Danville Poke and Sushi pleasantly surprised us - great flavors, nice quality sushi, friendly customer service, and they pack a lot in each bowl. Definitely would recommend. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Anytime someone I know comes to town, this is the first place I recommend. It can really be anything you want, if you want something light and refreshing: they have it! If you want something on the heavier side: they have that too! You don't like raw fish? If you love sushi you will love this place. Their menu isn't huge, but everything is fresh and fantastic. And the employees are all super friendly and helpful. I wish every restaurant had employees like them! the service was good but the product is very overpriced and very small portions. coming from California I am used to ramen being served in a nice deep bowl with plenty of noodles and additions. This was basically a broth with a small amount of noodles and very little meat and veggies. The 1/2 a hard boiled egg did nothing to leave me feeling full. Plus it is extremely overpriced. $16.95 per person for a very small, disposable plastic bowl, barely filled with anything substantial. I took my son and daughter in law and the bill ended up close to $60 for what was basically a small bowl of soup and three canned sodas, plus the 'requested' tip at time of payment. . I left there feeling like I had been ripped off. I will not go back and I will not recommend it. read more

If you are looking for a healthy, delicious, and unique place to eat for lunch or any meal for that manner, then Danville Poke & Sushi is the place to go. From the moment you walk in the door, you are welcomed by multiple workers on staff and always the owner. You have multiple options for different types of sushi or their house poke bowls. There are also options for a custom bowl where you are allowed to choose some of the freshest vegetables and fish they have to offer. I have never left disappointed and I know you won't either. The owner is very involved to ensure the satisfaction of the customer, one of the most pleasant people on any restaurant staff I have met. I am a big fan of sushi and new to Danville. My fiancé and I had been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally had our chance to. The staff is AMAZING! The restaurant was not kept up with. Dirty rags left on the ordering counter. Unclean practices with utensils used to scoop out broth. The staffer was on her cellphone with gloves on, then proceeded to use those same gloves to serve our food. We all know how filthy our phones are. She accidentally coughed directly over the open sides and wiped her eyes with her hands. Which she apologized for while continuing to put our bowls together. This should've been our Que to turn away... but neither my hubby or myself like the making people feel weird...So we trucked on. When we got our bowls, the broth was less than room temperature. The staffer was nice and replaced it and acknowledged the machine wasn't turned on that kept it hot. As well as offered free boba tea and 10% off our next order. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be necessary because the pork she replaced our meal with seemed to be spoiled. It tasted and smelt extremely gamey and rotten. We ended up throwing out our meal and taking an L for our date night. Maybe it was an off day...but with all the discrepancies...I would not recommend this place because the care and quality just isn't there. Also, for $16+ dollar ramen bowls... the portions were not it. Do better. read more
