So the food is okay... not great but the service I received and the fraud charges on my credit card afterwards were enough for me to let other people know about this place. I was out of town and the ONLY place I used my debit card was here. The server chased me down out the door, and told me my card did not go through. I informed him it did on my end and then it started. There was a $140 something dollar charge for Pizza Hut. I locked my card immediately when I saw this. Then I received a fraud alert about a charge for FedEx that was just over $500. Lastly, there was an almost $4000 charge for something like post app or some bs like that. Be careful paying with electronic payments here. Their staff like to commit credit card fraud! Get your workers under control, or pay them enough so they don't play with peoples money. read more

I looove nutella covered anything. The menu is gigantic (literally) and filled with endless choices for yummy food. On my first trip there, I got ambitious and ordered the breakfast burrito AND the waffle w nutella. Rookie mistake but I was hungry. The burrito was big and filled with all things yummy. Jalapeno, eggs, bacon, beans and cheese. The waffle was huge and COVERED in nutella and strawberries. The waffle itself was a little on the dry side (both times I ate it), which is the only reason Im deducting a star. Otherwise it was fantastic. Walked by after a long day at the beach, I couldn't resist the delicious grilled smell. The burgers looked humongous and I honestly got turned on by the table caddy set up (which made me want to try a big juicy burger even more). Our server Mike was very attentive and gave great suggestions even though his section was crazy busy. I tried the Coast Guard but substituted for Waygu beef since I couldn't decide. It took me longer to look through their full menu than the time it took for the food to be presented (came out quick). The burger did NOT disappoint but the fries were below average (especially for the price). Either way I enjoyed my visit but maybe next time I'll try one of their many other sides. HUGE MENU, GREAT SERVICE, and the Mudslide (15$) was fantastic. The price points are a little higher than your average burger joint but the quality of everything but the fries were in some way worth it. We opted to sit outside because it was a nice day but the tables are all rusted and some what dated soo it was a little bit of a turn off. I went here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was packed. This instantly let me know the food was going to be great. It took about 15 minutes for my party of 2 to be seated outside. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my cousin ordered a waffle and your typical breakfast sides. First off, there waffles are DELICIOUS!!! The batter definitely taste homemade instead of a box mix. I also enjoyed the fried chicken. My chicken breast was literally the size of my waffle so I definitely had a lot of leftovers. While waiting on a table some guys brought us mimosas, but they weren't the best I've had and I probably wouldn't order one again. Also, my cousin didn't like her eggs. They were very bland. Six years ago, I had fond memories of eating at Big Pink, but I was just there recently and things have gone south since then. I visited with a group of kids and it took a while before anyone gave us the time of day. We wanted to order carryout and got redirected to the back of the restaurant to place the order, where we were ignored. We waited a while, but were pressed for time so we gave up and instead placed an online order for delivery (because I promised everyone Big Pink was great). This was a mistake. I was wrong. A couple hundred dollars later, I had a pile of food that the kids barely ate. The sandwiches, pasta, mozzarella sticks ... everything ... it was all bland and terrible. They also sell it daily without all the extras but it's the best. Saw this restaurant on Instagram and figured we should check it out while in Miami. Actually, it was a video of the cheese sticks that got my attention. We ordered them as soon as we were seated and they were just like the video-- crunchy and crispy on the outside, ooey and gooey on the inside. Huge portion was more than enough to share around the table. Choosing an entree was difficult because there were a lot of enticing options and the portion sizes are obscene--too much food for any one person. I know that's an odd complaint but you just can't eat that heavily and then feel comfortable laying out on the beach. The serving/hosting staff was also very friendly which made the whole visit more enjoyable. They were accommodating and helpful-- especially with their suggestions on what to order. Another positive aspect of this restaurant is the atmosphere-- it has an old diner feel and it smells amazing. Like donuts and waffles and cakes. Big Pink is one of my favorite locations to visit after a long night out in Miami. Mainly because they're always open! And the food of course! Ok I'm not 100 on the times for sure but it seems like they're always open because no matter what time I go THEY'RE OPEN. I would have to actually check that. In any case here it is, they have something for everyone! On their menu you can find items for herbivores and omnivores. Let's dine together shall we. On top of that they have breakfast items, lunch items, dinner items and those things are always available. They have juices, coffees, teas, beer, & cocktails. Don't get them confused with Denny's or IHOP. They have professional chefs so the food is way better than a typical diner. This is the place to be people on the scene after hours. I've even come here in the middle of the day in the week, it is actually a lot calmer. All walks of life are welcome here from Dj's to pop stars to your average club hopper or host. Ditch the average venture to a typical pizza joint after a night out and head to big pink that's what I always tell my friends LOL. I love diner food and cappucino's, and this place was the best meal I had in Mimi's beach. It's obvious the beach is super touristy, this place actually lives up to some good quality at a reasonable price. They have mixed drinks and large communal seatings. It's always going to be busy, but we were lucky and found a spot for 6 within a few minutes. The chicken and waffles was amazing. Freakin amazing! And the cappuccino was also on point. Great place to grab a bite after a long day in South Beach, with pages of food for even the pickiest eater. I was there around 3, and we were sat immediately and received great service the whole visit. The caesar salad was great, and the salmon was cooked perfectly! The fried pickles were delicious, albeit a little greasy, and my partner raved about the "thanksgiving on a roll". We topped it off with their Carrot Cake, which was so huge we only got through half and had to take the other half to go. I do recommend that if you are visiting as a tourist you should be considerate to the waitstaff, who i witnessed being mistreated by customers when service slowed down with the transfer from morning to night shift.
