I had another towing company refuse to come up our driveway. I was told due to a narrow curve, ice ,etc. I appreciated their concern for safety. However, Brad from Big Red backed up the driveway with his flatbed with no problem. Communicated well with me all the time and got our Land Cruiser on his flatbed to take to a shop. I've been towed out twice by Big Red, both times have been quick and reasonably priced. I seriously can not recommend these guys enough! I got a tow from cheesman reservoir on Father's Day, and they were there within an hour! These guys know what they're doing, and take pride in the work they do. Jeffco Sheriffs recommended I call "Big Red" when my car stalled and died in a through-lane on U.S. 285 Northbound (in a very dangerous area). Sure enough, a Red truck came within minutes to tow me with a chain out of the way of traffic. And 30 minutes later, a full flat-bed tow truck came and hauled me 13 more miles to my mechanic's shop past Conifer in Morrison, CO. Meanwhile, my dog was with me the whole time! A deer jumped on my car early in the morning on Dec 3rd, 2023. Taylor was there within the hour and towed me and my car to its destination and dropped me off at home. Taylor and company were very professional and kind. I found the price of the tow somewhat reasonable, I was an hour from where the vehicle needed to go. 5 weeks later, I was trying to transfer that vehicle to another destination and was stuck on the side of the road again. I called Big Red, and he was there 10 minutes later, and the charge was reasonable again. Great company and people. Mags came out after I called AAA for assistance. He was early, knew what he was doing, friendly and careful handling my 51 year old roadster. The drive/tow from Pine Junction back to my home went smoothly as he is a careful driver respectful of others on the road. This was the first time I had my car towed and it was a great experience, nearly as much fun as seeing the changing fall colors that I had planned until the car broke down. THIS GUY IS AWESOME!!! I was having a really bad day on the river, whitewater kayaking.. By the time we got to the takeout, all I wanted was to go home. However, my keys were locked in the car. I called AAA and Big Red Towing showed up. Taylor tried everything in the book but couldn't get into my 2003 Land Rover Discovery. Turns out that I would eventually have to go to the dealer and get a key. But Taylor didn't give up. He loaded my Rover up onto his truck and took me to his own home where he had a different set of tools and a book. After another VERY valiant effort. He finally had to throw in the towel But he didn't leave me hanging. He gave me and my Rover a ride home. Taylor and I had a great talk on the way home and what an awesome Dude. Taylor with Big Red Towing is to be commended for his handling of my rental car fiasco last week. What should have been a fairly simple delivery of me and the disabled car to the nearest Budget car rental facility turned into an over 6-hour ordeal as Budget's infrastructure failed to provide efficient and accurate roadside assistance. Taylor had a "no man left behind" attitude as we worked through the illogical and pestiferous Budget system to finally get me into a replacement rental car. He did so at his own personal expense. Big Red Towing provided superior help and service. My truck slid off into a two foot deep drainage ditch after a heavy snowfall. Taylor showed up on time and got right to work. I especially appreciated the care he took getting the truck out. Not only was it in the ditch, but it was within 6 inches of a granite rock wall. He got it out in a timely manner with no damage. These guys refused to take me down a road because it had some sharp turns (big trucks go up Italy the time... The turns aren't that tight). The real reason is because they wanted to take the longer route and make more money. I had my insurance call another company and they came and had no problems using that road. Taylor came to our rescue when our truck had mechanical issues. We were towing our 26' trailer up Crow hill when we lost power and had to pull over on a narrow strip of dirt with busy weekend traffic racing by a few feet away. Our insurance company sent Big Red to pick up our truck and another company to pick up our trailer. Taylor got there quickly and brought our truck and my wife safely back to Denver while I waited for another company to pick up me and my trailer. The other company took over 4 hours to arrive and didn't have the proper equipment. I called Taylor at 10:30pm (we broke down at 4:00pm) and he came back and towed me back to Denver. I am so thankful for his help in getting us and our vehicles home safely. read more

I drove up to Guenella Pass last weekend and, through a series of unfortunate events, locked my keys in my car. I was about 4 miles up the pass and luckily found someone to drive me to Bailey so I could contact AAA. I was alone and nervous about driving up into the mountains with a stranger, but the tow truck driver that picked me up, Tobias, was awesome! He picked me up within 20 minutes of AAA contacting him. I expressed to him that I was nervous about my car being damaged and he reassured me that the people that drive the pass wouldn't harm it. He was very kind, very helpful, and put my mind at ease on the long drive back up there with small talk. I was so relieved to have such a nice, decent person to help me out in such a stressful situation. This company is awesome! If you're in the area, use them for sure. read more
