This tow company does not properly secure vehicles to their flat bed trucks. I recently had to be towed off Vail Pass with my 4WD vehicle. This company only tied my truck down with one strap on the left rear tire for a 15+ drive down I-70 at full speed. Insist that your car is properly secured to the industry standard! To clarify, the industry standard is a four point tie down, two non-adjustable tie downs attached to the rear of the vehicle and then two adjustable chains used to secure the vehicle. This is a great shop! (and it's worth finding in the back of the commercial area in which its located). Roddy is fair in his pricing and honest about the state of your car and the repairs needed. He'll tell you what is necessary, what can wait, and what isn't necessary. He's responsive and actually answers his phone. I have an old Subaru with 160K miles on it and it has all the predictable issues in a high-mileage Subu'. I have been remiss in not writing a timely review based on my experience availing of services from this business. Since we had such a great experience that I still remember after 4 years, I am finally getting around to write this review in the hopes of helping others who might find themselves in a similar situation. After a day spent skiing with the family at Beaver Creek on New Year's Eve (2016), as we headed back home to the Denver area, our BMW X5 started stalling on I-70. We pulled off the highway & started searching for auto repair businesses; considering it was late afternoon on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, every business we tried was closed. My wife finally pulled up this business on Yelp & based on positive reviews there, we called them. Radi - the owner - showed up within a few minutes as promised in his tow truck & accurately diagnosed the problem within a few minutes - a blown water pump. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a replacement unit locally since most businesses were closed & he also recommended that he could buy it from online retailers that he usually sourced replacement parts from for much better pricing - the catch being, we couldn't drive our vehicle home that evening. He offered to tow our vehicle to his garage for safe keeping and also advised us on our best transportation options to get home (~120 miles away) that night. Like others have mentioned, there were absolutely no pressure tactics employed throughout our interaction; instead, he was a calm and reassuring presence who was being genuinely helpful to a group of tired and stressed out motorists stranded on a highway and anxious about what to do next. Monday of the following week, he had procured the parts & by end of the day, called to let us know our vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. Cost of services - both parts & labor - were extremely reasonable & normal; absolutely no up charge for towing the vehicle to his shop or off hour services! This business deserves a 'Gold Star'. If you ever find yourself in need of auto repair service in the Vail Valley area, reach out to them without any hesitation. They have certainly earned our family's trust & we wish them the best! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My best friend and I got stuck in Edwards after a relaxing day in glenwood springs for my birthday. We were on our way back to Denver when I stopped to get gas before it got too dark. Silly me, I put the wrong gas in my mom's hybrid Lexus. Immediately the clerks at the gas station told me not to start the car at all otherwise further damage would be done and I would have to get it towed back to Denver (145 miles away). I called 4 mechanics in the area and all of them told me they were closed or wouldn't have enough time to work on it. I was devastated and overwhelmed when my best friend found this place on google and yelp and saw it was 24 hours and was about 10 miles away. We spoke to Roddi and he wasn't sure if he could flush out the gas. Thankfully he arrived within 45 min and began working on the car tirelessly for 2 hours. When he finished, we took it for a test drive and he realized the problem still wasn't fixed. He did some more tinkering and finally she was back and running and sounded like her old self! I was so thankful I gave him a huge hug and cried a little. He saved the car and saved me from being murdered by my parents for ruining their car lol! We headed back to the city and got hit with major snow going back through the mountains for about an hour and a half. We were so scared the car would stop working in the middle of the snow storm but we made it all the way back safely! I can't thank him enough for how hard her worked and how understanding he was! If I could give this business zero stars I would. Irony is I never even saw them. Their customer service was so horrible I couldn't get in with a confirmed appointment. Be warned they've moved to 80 Metcalf road. I had an appointment for Friday and showed up and nobody was there. After I had confirmed and they had confirmed. Called them cause I couldn't find the exact shop and they argued with me that it wasn't a 9am appointment and they weren't there. I checked my voicemail and they confirmed it. So ok moving on. Then they said they'd come over to fix my Honda something or other. I said that isn't me and he argued with me again?!?! It's comical trying to argue with someone about who you are in hindsight. Then I asked where he was located and he argued with me again about why I couldn't see the shop?!?! At this point I said goodbye. Be warned the customer service is ridiculous!
