That one didn't work either, so they ordered a new radio. With all the supply chain and parts iddues I was planning on waiting a while for the new radio. After waiting many moths and enduring many unreturned phone calls, to a service rep that has since been fired, I fianlly got a new working radio and my wife is very happy. I called Mark, the GM, and he stepped up by making sure the radio was in stock and got me into service the very next week. We had driven our…read more2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Austin to Breckenridge but when we arrived we could suddenly hear clicking from the wheels when we turned the steering. Not wanting to drive these mountains with any doubt about the car I drove over to Groove to talk to them. I was met by Ryan at the Service Desk who took the time to come look at the noise and asked me some further questions. Super friendly and efficient (they were clearly busy). He quickly deciphered the problem and let me know they could take care of it. I waited in their lounge for an hour (fast wifi, great place to get some work done) and Ryan let me know that it was ready to roll and was all covered under warranty. I really couldn't make a suggestion on anything to improve here. Ryan went above and beyond to not only identify but get my problem solved in the absolute minimum amount of time. I had been there for 5 days waiting for someone to help me. I had one company try to help but they left me worse off than I was and never came back even though the tech told me he would. Good Sam Roadside finally got DJ out to me. DJ drove from Breckenridge 3.5 hrs to CB. He arrived around 9pm Wednesday evening to assess the situation and figure out what parts he needed. He even paid for his own hotel in Gunnison to get parts in the morning. The next morning he showed up with 2 leaf springs. They were the same part number but different manufacturer so they were a little off and we couldn't use them, unfortunately. He drove back to Gunnison (1hr away) and searched for the correct parts once again (all at no charge to me). He finally got back to my spot and had me fixed up in 2 hours flat! He made it seem so easy! The entire time DJ was calm, cool, collected, empathetic to my situation, and extremely meticulous with his work. We even jammed out to a little Tom Petty while he worked. When he was done he followed me to my campsite to make sure everything was safe and correct. He then re-checked my tires, springs, bolts, etc... (still not charging me for this extra time). PRESS RELEASE May 26, 2017 FMCSA CARRIER TIE DOWNS With regard to the recent exemption granted to the IITR petition, the intent of the petition was to clarify what is stated in 49 CFR 393.128 pertaining to the securement of automobiles, light trucks and vans and to address the use CFR 393.112, a general cargo rule which law enforcement was using to cite towers, disregarding the intent of 49 CFR 393.128. To clarify, the industry standard is a four point tie down, two non-adjustable tie downs attached to the rear of the vehicle and then two adjustable chains used to secure the vehicle. A winch line is not a securement method. It is a good time to review your cargo securement methods. Always take the time to properly tie down and secure your loads.
