Seriously I've been using this service for about 2 years, never had an issue when it was Isreal taking care of my mechanical needs. He always was on time & did an excellent job. Fast forward now all of a sudden Isreal & not sure of the other guy name but they have vanished So now I've been communicating with Liz & supposedly the owner Hector So my Lincoln truck was diagnosed by Isreal that it needed a motor b4 he vanished. Fast forward so Hector came out & said he believed that was not the case charged me over 200.00 & he was incorrect its now the motor.....Smdh. yes I paid the fee which ik that he should not have been paid. So me being me still utilized the service, I had him look at my daughter Dodge Challenger which was over heating, him & his daughter came up with a price of 891.00 this was for a radiator/labor....crazy price. I shopped around & found a radiator from Advance Auto for $268.00 & Hector charged me $300.00 for labor in which I paid. Now this is the most disturbing business practice that is unacceptable, how you charge a diagnostic fee, but tells me that fee will not come off of the LABOR! I've dealt with mechanics before Galvin & long as they did the work than that fee is subtracted from the labor fee. We took vehicle for antifreeze leak. They did what they deemed to repair that. It was $1400. Now a problem with a "vehicle reset" has arisen. Another $500 to dealership. My problem with this is, if you can't fix it tell me up front not after I paid you $1400 to have to spend another $500. I spoke with Tim and he said it wasn't their issue. It appears this is how they do business nowadays

Had an arrangement with another guy set up and he bailed at the last minute. So I cold-called Hobbs and Dave, the owner, is who answered. When I explained the situation, he offered several solutions, including storing my trailer for free since I was in a bind. Who does that these days??? I don't live in Indy, but if I did I'd patronize Hobbs for any automotive or towing needs. Outstanding customer service, friendly owner and staff.

George has been a huge blessing to our family and kept our older cars running. A gift for a family on a tight budget! He's shopped around for parts for us several times. He's flushed the transmissions on a couple of our vehicles. Our van was WAY overdue and the transmission was slipping badly. This time however, the overfilled my oil during an oil change and I had made a big trip 215 miles to Illinois going high speeds when the oil level high warning came on. I had never had this happen before. They were unreachable when I called Friday. I left a voicemail. I never heard back so I called Monday. Talked to Mike who told me "it should be fine" and that it was too short a time to cause engine damage. I was shocked. They didn't try to offer any apologies or an oil change next time on the house or even for me to bring it in to look at. I felt so dismissed not to mention unsafe! It also cut into my weekend home with family because I spent most of the time trying to fix the issue including buying a supplies on Amazon and taking it to vavoline. They offered no solution and quite frankly did not care. Only after I said I was uncomfortable with how relaxed they were about this did they say I could bring it in to look at if I really wanted to, but that there's nothing that they can do or offer me other than to "triple check next time". Go to a place that cares and won't put you in danger. They also failed to mention there was a mice nest in the engine.
