For sides, the cole slaw and beans were on point. You order at the counter, so service is prompt and you get immediate gratification (they make your order on the spot). They've got a simple dining room with a few large tables, that have different kinds of BBQ sauce options. Price-wise it is not the cheapest but, the flavor is worth it. Overall this is a worthy BBQ spot and it is on my shortlist when visiting!

If you love legit barbecue, Bam Bams BBQ is the spot…read more The brisket is ridiculous. Juicy, smoky, with that perfect crust on the outside and melt in your mouth goodness on the inside. You take one bite and just look at whoever you're with like, yep, this is it. The ribs have that perfect bite where the meat pulls clean but doesn't fall apart. Full flavor, no shortcuts. Pulled pork is loaded with smoke and super tender. The sausage has that snap when you bite into it and just enough kick to keep it interesting. And the sides are not throwaways. The mac and cheese is creamy comfort food. The beans are hearty and flavorful. The cornbread actually tastes homemade. The vibe is easy and welcoming. No hype, no gimmicks, just people who clearly care about making great food. You walk in hungry and leave happy. If you're craving barbecue that actually delivers, this place flat out hits.

I really wanted to like this place. I really tried to like this place...but I have to be honest…read more Let's start with the good--the bbq vibe was strong (country music, chalkboards with drawings, bbq smell wafting thru the air). Now for the not-so-good. We usually call ahead because we have a few family members with food allergies. We called ahead and everything sounded kopacetic. We arrived and ordered our food. One member of our 6 person party ate a couple of fries (which she asked about ahead of time due to her allergies) and she noticed something different about the fries. We asked one of the workers if they put something on the fries because they were crispy on the outside. The worker said "I don't think so." We asked if he could check to be sure so he went to ask. He came back and said "it's just crispy coating." So again we asked "can you tell us what is in the crispy coating because we are trying to avoid an allergic reaction." He replied "it's just crispy coating I don't know what's in it." So we asked "is there anyway you can find out what's in the crispy coating?" He replied "there is definitely a way to find out." He goes to the back...again. When he returns he says, "we fry the fries in a fryer with our chicken tenders. I would suggest not eating the fries." His suggestion is well-taken but we still don't know what's in the 'crispy coating.' When we were ordering, one member in my group asked for the two meat plate with brisket and pork ribs. The menu says "pork ribs." The worker said "We don't have pork ribs. We have ribs." So ribs it was. Giving a little room for grace, he was a young man who seemed to be new. BUT if you are at the cash register taking orders, you really should know what's on your menu. As for the food, it was disappointing. Portions were small. For the two meat plate with brisket and sausage, I was given one piece of brisket and a small hot link. To be fair, the menu says "8 oz" for the two meat plate so you kind of know what you're getting. When the order comes out, it looks very small. The brisket was a little on the dry side. The hot link was tasty but small. Buyer beware. TLDR; not coming back

Chicken was great. I…read morehad the wings, plain and regular to experience the dipping sauces. Moist meat and delightful crispy, light breading. I'd eat just the breading! Got three sauces, one with orange in it, one with apple juice in it, and a Korean take on BBQ sauce. Didn't care for the last one, enjoyed the other two. I got as a side the mac salad. They put smoke flavoring in it. There is some corn in it as well as a very little carrot shreds for looks, probably. It was good. However, as left overs, my taste buds were done with it. They give you two plastic gloves to eat it with as well as provide paper towel rolls on each table if you don't use the gloves, I guess. The wings weren't quite as good as Mad for Chicken (China town on State St. in SLC). But it was still very good and you need to check it out. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Came in for the first time and the woman who was working the counter was so friendly and accommodating to our family and young girls. Thank you. Service like this doesn't exist anymore or rare. Service 200/10 Ordered the following food: Number 5 Spicy Crispy Chicken Sando Crispy, juicy and flavorful chicken. Simple and not over done. Almost feel as if the chicken was double fried. Bread was not overly dense and did not overwhelm the Sando which I love. Loved it. 9/10. Wish it had a few more pickles. Maybe on the side. Meat Jun (I'd recommend changing the name maybe Beef Jun - just doesn't sound appetizing. Just my 2 cents) Interesting. Thin sliced beef seasoned and egg battered. Kimchi tasted genuine Korean and mandu was standard. Meat wasn't too chewy and tender enough. 7/10 Space is little cozy especially if a family of 10 dines at the same time which happened we we arrived. Ambiance is clean and low music playing in the background. Recommend if you order Mac and Cheese for kiddos, ask for no seasoning on top. Recommend trying it.
