Came in bought some produce and produce department was excellent everything nice neat and clean and organized so was the rest of the store. Prices were great. I bought a roasted chicken from this place and found tiny maggots in it. Yes, maggots. I was completely horrified. I called to speak with the manager, and instead of taking any accountability, they blamed me and claimed it was "impossible." No apology, no concern, no customer service whatsoever. OK, so my Brother-in-law and I, wanted to try out the little restaurant that is located just inside the front door of this supermarket, called Taco's mi raza. For my review of this restaurant, please stand by, as that will come out in the near future. So back to the supermarket. Kinda gave them a bad review, based on the smell, coming from their meat dept. The shelved section was just average, and the produce dept. being above average. While being here for the restaurant, I wanted to walk the store and see if they made any improvements to the meat dept. To tell you the truth, I was getting nervous as I approached it. And to my surprise, there was no smell at all. Was so happy for them that they made this wonderful improvement, this section even looked better, remodeled, new and improved. I applaud the Owner or Manager, or whoever worked on this problem, and made it so much better. I really hate to give a business a really bad review, and I don't do it to be mean, but hopefully Management who really cares, can use our reviews to improve their businesses. These people really care, and I'm glad for that. Will have to shop here more often now. read more

OMIGAH EVERYTHING IS EXPIRED! Except for the beers! Expired bottled, canned, products. Just make sure YOU CHECK the dates! I have been living in this neighborhood since I was 3 yrs old that location where Big Savor Foods is has been a Food King a Luckys an Albertsons and now this place. I don't shpp here and I live three blocks away. The produce is low quality the groceries are expensive and limited selection. The meat is old and cheap cuts. The cashiers are unfriendly and speak Spanish to you like you speak it too. No I do shop here sometimes when I am missing one or two things at home and I don't feel like or have time to drive far. This market is very run down looking and I hope it closes down soon. This town deserves a good quality market with fresh food some organic food and friendly people that offer good working shopping carts I don't believe those carts have been changed in over 20 years. Convenient since its only a 5 minute drive from my house. Like any small supermarket, they up the price of things. Parking here is horrible!! It never fails that someone almost side swipes my car cause they're impatient. Watch out for pedestrians...the ones that shop here don't look both ways before they cross. read more

This is a small market, in the Baldwin Park/La Puente area.... I don't know too much on the market itself, but they have an amazing bakery inside. They serve these small conchitas (pan Dulce) that are sooo mouth watering! Just as good as one of the mom and pop bakery's in East LA. So if you're with in the area, and are craving some Pan dulce you may want to consider stopping in for some. It's inexpensive and tasty! read more

Horrible service. The guy at the meat section must have thought I was the meat because he tried to chop off my head. All I asked him was an estimate to see how much meat I needed for certain number of people....big mistake! He had no desire to help, probably due to the fact that he was arguing with his co-worker in front of the customers. He went as far as to tell me that I should had gone to another market - which I did!! They lost my business! read more
