It came back on? It's just x,y,z." He was going to let us leave not knowing there was an additional $300 repair we'd need to make as long as the override he did on the check engine light stayed off until we left. When I mentioned that I was going to leave a review to warn others of his business dealings, he said "I don't care!" And he followed me and my daughter to our car after we decided not to buy the car harassing and belittling us the whole way (my husband was on the phone and overheard his heckling). So since he doesn't care about reviews, and because I DO care about people not getting scammed, I am sharing my experience here. We drove over two hours round trip to see this vehicle. He would not budge on the price. I am SO relieved for that now after getting home and reading all of the reviews of how he does business. If he had we would have ended up with a piece of garbage car since that seems to be all he sells based off reviews. If this is the first place you've looked for reviews, also check the business Facebook page. Several reviews exactly the same. 1 star only because 0 isn't an option. I asked for a written agreement to keep insurance out of it. He never sent it. I work for a hospital and had to have a way to get to work. He threatened and harrassed me to keep my mouth shut. So did his significant other. When I spoke up with factual information, he threatened to "come after" me and threatened to sue for defamation. I took him to court for damages and won. They admitted in court they tow all front wheel drive cars front wheels down. Won court three months ago and Rodney has refused to pay. I have had to work overtime the past 8 months, So much stress, lack of sleep. Lost time with the kids. Paying on a damaged car and now having to make payments on a new one. DO NOT use this company unless you want to be threatened and out of a car. I also have proof of every single thing I have stated. Email records, texts, phone records, photos, mechanic statements, court documents, police report ect. This all could have been fixed easily if Rodney chose to do the right thing. Instead, he intentionally caused additional hardship. He stated himself that he planned to drag this out as long as possible.
