They sell a variety of fish from bream to mullet to flounder and more. The shrimp are good size and the portions are fair as well as pricing. Been looking for a good seafood spot for awhile and kept passing here and hearing good things so we finally tried it for ourselves. The inside is very spacious and can accommodate various party sizes. The menu is your standard seafood variety with the crab boil being the highlight so that had to ordered. Honestly the prices were more than they should be for the portion size so I didn't even get a main course and got the fried pickles which were delicious. 2 entrees and an app with 3 drinks almost put me in triple digits, so for as good as it was I will try another spot to compare before making a second stop. Yes, yes and yes!!!! There wasn't one thing I didn't like here! I had fried green tomatoes, corn, fried okra, fries, flounder, whiting, key lime cake and red velvet cake. It was so good I forgot to take pictures, that never happens. Every time they brought something to the table I started devouring it! The service was amazing and everyone was super welcoming and friendly. What can I not say about this place?! Conveniently located right off the expressway. The ordering process was quick and efficient and they brought our food out to the car once it was ready. All items are cooked to order. We ordered fried green tomatoes, a catfish sandwich and a whiting sandwich. To my surprise, the sandwich was not really a sandwich. How about a fried fish filet and two slices of bread on the side. I laughed when I saw this and was suddenly reminisced of my days growing up in the country. This "city girl" is a country girl at heart! Everything was perfectly seasoned, fried light and crispy, and not greasy. Just how my grandma used to make it! I just visited this establishment today, I can say that it has some of the best fried fish and shrimp that is ranked the best I've eaten. Whenever I'm in Augusta, Ga., I will be sure to stop and in to eat some whole fried cat fish, whiting, and shrimp along with coleslaw, Fries, and hush puppies....awesome! read more

I ordered takeout here during the pandemic. Right now they have some limited hours so just make sure on that. Their phone line says they're open Sundays but I don't think they are since I had to come on a Wednesday. I had the low country boil which was packed with great flavors and almost enough for me to eat this twice. It came with shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn. The sausage was great-you can tell it's high quality meat because they don't sacrifice it with over salted low quality meat. The potatoes come whole and were great. The corn was kind of a letdown. I stopped in on a layover one weekend and the food was delicious , especially the farm raised bream, WOW!!!

Have always had a great experience, dining in or picking up. They know how to prepare seafood and never disappoint. The shrimp and grits is delightful and unpretentious - it's straightforward, without all the extra frou-frou other restaurants seem to think should be added in. The shrimp are always tender, never overcooked, and the grits are creamy and medium textured as grits should be. All of their fried fish are delicately breaded with good, fresh flavor and texture. Their sides are spot on. Orders are delivered quickly from the kitchen. The dining room reminds me of all the best little local seafood joints I remember from my younger years living on the coast - small, clean, a few tables, large windows, and comfortable. The staff here is super friendly they greet you right when you walk in. It's alright food. We got the grilled shrimp and fish dinner. The best part was the hush puppies both the shrimp and fish were undercooked but well seasoned. I will say they cook your food fresh which is a plus, so you do have to wait a little bit for the to-go order. At first glance, this restaurant seems sketchy because the tables and booths are somewhat run down, but the food is delicious and the portions are huge. We brought my wife's family here when they came to visit because they come from a landlocked state, and never have the opportunity to eat seafood - and they were not disappointed. I have come here several times because my sister lives nearby Everytime I come I say I am not coming back. I am not a person to leave reviews but they charged me $2.60 for a piece of kraft American cheese and put it at the bottom of these tasteless grits. I don't even think it was 4 oz. $80 meal for my sister and I to eat salty seafood with no other seasoning. I should have continued back to Atlanta or blessed another establishment with my money. This place is also a dump. I am all for a hole in the wall if the food is good. The service is not great either. I expressed my disappointment and the waitress looked at me and did not say a thing. The service was very pleasant and the atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered the Bream, Grits, and Crab Legs. The price was right! While I did not take advantage of it, I believe they offer a military discount. The Bream was perfectly fried and was well seasoned. Yum! The Grits... I added cheese, yet I could not taste a trace of salt or butter. The texture, however was very creamy. Sometimes, Grits don't need salt, but they always need butter (the salted type). I enjoyed the seasoning of the Crab Legs but they were actually salty. I wasn't sure if that was because the "cooking water" was over salted or because they were not exactly fresh. Bigs T's is a hidden gem. They have been open for about a year and this was my first time going. I ordered 3 clusters of crab, corn, green tomatoes and hush puppies. My husband ordered the seafood platter. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! I don't have one complaint. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The corn had this seasoned butter on it that was finger licking good. I seriously could have eaten a dozen. The green tomatoes were also very good. But the best thing we had were the hush puppies. I can't give a review because it would be a dis- service to the owner. The food was delicious but the customer service sucks. as a first time visitor and was given this restaurant as a place to try. I walked in and asked if I seat myself( wasn't greeted , the young lady looked in my face several times n went to assist a table of persons that was seated after me. I waited and finally had to go ask for a menu. once again I waited. the other waitress went to a table which was a table away from me took their or. I literally had to stop her and ask if I can make an order. I had to stop her each time to get assistance. My issue is as a person of customer service, each person should be treated the same.
