    Fried Green Tomatoes
    J.E. V.

Yes, yes and yes!!!! There wasn't one thing I didn't like here! I had fried green tomatoes, corn, fried okra, fries, flounder, whiting, key lime cake and red velvet cake. It was so good I forgot to take pictures, that never happens. Every time they brought something to the table I started devouring it! The service was amazing and everyone was super welcoming and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and when the owner came to bring our food he told us they have all you can eat crab legs so we definitely have to return to try their sauce!

What can I not say about this place?! Conveniently located right off the expressway. The ordering process was quick and efficient and they brought our food out to the car once it was ready. All items are cooked to order. We ordered fried green tomatoes, a catfish sandwich and a whiting sandwich. To my surprise, the sandwich was not really a sandwich. How about a fried fish filet and two slices of bread on the side. I laughed when I saw this and was suddenly reminisced of my days growing up in the country. This "city girl" is a country girl at heart! Everything was perfectly seasoned, fried light and crispy, and not greasy. Just how my grandma used to make it! I enjoyed every bite of my fresh water fish goodness. I also grabbed a slice of cake to go. Key lime and red velvet mash-up. Both cakes separately, were moist and tasted 'excellent. However, together, not to my liking. The key lime cake was too tart for the red velvet for me. Personal preference I guess. I look forward to telling my road travel buddies that they best stop by Big T"s on their way through Agusta.

    Some fish my husband loved

Loved the low country boil. Service was great. Food cooked to order. Just wish the low country had a tad more spice ;) but won't complain. Loved the tartar and cocktail

The eating area was clean but outdoorsy. The service was quick and friendly. I had the catfish platter with shrimp and scallops. It was seasoned well. The catfish filets were kinda thin and chewy. The scallops and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood

My absolute favorite place to visit when I'm in Augusta . The food is amazing and the service is to amazing , my waitress Chara was the bomb and she made sure I got what I really wanted before putting my order in. They make the food fresh so you won't ever have to worry about the food just sitting and they also do call in orders . This is must go to spot whenever your here in the area , trust me you won't be disappointed. I order the fish ,scallops and shrimp and grits OMG and my friend got fish ,okra, and corn . Get you some !!!

The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, with a nice seating area if you want to dine in, while takeout is also available for those on the go. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and prepared with that authentic homemade taste you hope to find at a family-owned restaurant. Every dish is packed with flavor, and the portions are satisfying. Tteokkoch and Gimmarie can only really be found here, and it's great. The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling like you've discovered something special. It was made of mainly green onions and not a lot of batter which is how it should be. The top and bottom was crispy. There were pieces of squid on top. It was delicious only wish they had more seafood. Sauce was great. Probably one of the best seafood pancake I've had. I'd come back just for the seafood pancake. :-) We ordered the LA galbi (short ribs). It was well marinated and tasted great! Good size portion for the price. Came with a side of lettuce with dressing. The pork bulgogi was decent portions and sweet. Meat was tender. The seafood stew has a kick. It was a bit diluted from what I'm used to with pieces of squid and couple of clams. Each of the fish came with a couple of panchans (side dishes) of fish cake, kimchi and cucumbers. Overall, great place to visit for good and fast Korean food.

It was a cold winter day and I just wanted something comforting for lunch. It was quiet but not empty inside Meimei's and we were quickly seated and placed our order. They had dim sum on the menu so we decided to try the dim sum sampler, which came with two steamed pork dumplings, 2 veg crystal dumplings, 2 siu mai and 1 char siu bao. While it could easily feed one, it was also great for sharing. We also ordered an order of lotus leaf sticky rice, fried pork glutinous dumplings, taro custard pastries and a bowl of hot and sour soup. The dim sum sampler was surprisingly pretty. The color of the veg crystal dumplings was one of the most insta-worthy things I've ever seen! The taste of everything was a-ok. Definitely worth a try, though! We loved the fried poor glutinous dumplings - fried to crispy perfection without being overly greasy. And the taro custard pastries were the perfect not too sweet way to end the meal. I was a little disappointed in the lotus leaf sticky rice. The texture was off and flavor was bland. Next time I'm in stopping through Augusta, I'll definitely be back at Meimei's for dim sum!!
