Very friendly and quick service and the food is good. They put WAY too much sauce on it though which kinda ruins the rest of the dish.

JUST WOW........Would have given 10 stars if the system allowed it!!!…read more We were staying in the area and came here because it had the highest rated score for sushi on Yelp and let me tell you....it did NOT disappoint!!! Coming from California to visit in the area, we didn't have very high hopes for this place considering it's 12 hours to the nearest coast! Seafood in the middle of Idaho come on!! Not to mention the prices were so cheap I couldn't believe it! Heck there is Gas station sushi in Cali that cost more.... When we first walked in we were greeted by the nicest staff! VERY attentive and constantly keeping our glasses full, with the sushi continually coming to the table throughout the visit! There was an older gentleman who, I think was the owner, that visited our table maybe 4 times to ask if everything was ok and do whatever he could to make our visit memorable! Probably the BEST wait staff of any place we ate at in Idaho Falls!!! The building itself was nicely done matching any sushi place in California. Pretty good size and there were a lot of people eating here, but the service was so good they made their jobs look easy! Now onto the food...There really isn't anything I can say to convince you to visit except that EVERYTHING was AMAZING. My group had about 10 different rolls as well as appetizer choices and nigiri and I must say, ALL of it was better than the places back home!!! This place would be dangerous if we lived here, because I believe we would spend a good portion of my check here EVERY week!!! Rolls that stood out...DO NOT eat here without having a Snow Drop roll, holy cow that might be the best roll I've ever had at any sushi bar!!! The Dancing Eel roll was tremendous as well! The sauce that came on that sucker would be worth paying for enough to take a bath in, if you happen to be rich enough to afford it! Even the cheaper rolls that many places use as filler rolls were superbly elevated to a higher level! Also don't miss the deep fried rice topped with spicy tuna appetizer, it was phenomenal!!! We had two of those!!! Anyway in the end, both the staff and the food was AMAZING!! Who would have thought sushi in Idaho?!?! You have raised the bar above on ANY Cali similar restaurant. DO NOT MISS this place!!!! We will definitely be eating here again before we leave!! We will come back here again and again as you should toooooo!! I will post pictures after our next visit later in the week....

We had to enter through the back door and It was awkward that I couldn't just walk in through the front door. Was not the worst place in the world but definitely below a 5 out of 10 all together, would not go back.

This was really bad. I took my two kids, the three of us absolutely love ramen and we're visiting…read morerexburg and thought we'd give it a try. We ordered two miso ramens and a garlic ramen and were severely disappointed. I don't know how they are making their ramen. It it is not tradition ramen - both the miso and garlic ramen were meant to be a tonkatsu base - I'm pretty sure they either left it out of my order entirely or they are using a shortcut to make the broth or packets? I was literally eating hot water with a garlic sauce in it. The noodle were processed to hell and overcooked... at least the gyoza in the ramen was okay - I'm assuming they got those from Costco. The takoyaki was okay as well. The tonkatsu was overcooked. The ramen was severely unbalanced and not a cohesive flavor. So I rarely complain - I dont want to be a Karen but in this instance I did ask the server if perhaps something was missing in the ramen (I was assuming tare or they forgot the tonkatsu). They looked at me confused saying they could remake it but that's how the order should have come. I was shocked - I'm sure if anyone sipped that broth they'd agree they can't sell that. It was also like 50 degrees in the restaurant, I didn't mind but my daughter was cold. The building is really dirty - like it's fine if it's an old building but in this case you can tell they don't care. Honestly if I could give zero stars if I could - these guys do deserve anyone's money at this time until an owner of someone with some real experience takes over. Very disappointed.

It didn't taste good. Soups should be hot but it was not hot at all. I was not satisfied at all.read more

WELL... our experience proved that even a landlocked state can offer a killer experience, like the one we had! Our server, Kelsee was so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. With all of us completely overwhelmed at where to start in ordering, Kelsee swooped in, gave us a rundown of the specialty items, her favorites and spice level, because WOAH. We opted for 2 appetizers (edamame and another one that escapes me now), along with 6 rolls, for the 4 of us to split. Our food came out quickly and all together (which was nice), was beautiful in presentation, and absolutely delicious!! We had such a variety that I can't remember them all but what I can remember, was that I loved every single one of them! One of the rolls we ordered traditionally comes with some type of ghost pepper seasoning on top, and at Kelsee's suggestion, we got it on the side to dust on ourselves. Sure, glad we did, because HOT DAMN that spice is HOT. Although Kelsee had a full section, she checked back with us frequently and provided great service and conversation! The entire experience left us with full bellies and a smile on our face. I hope o return if back in the Idaho Falls area again!
