He stayed while they looked at my car and after hearing what they had to say, Scottie told me to file a claim (I didn't even think about that at first) and offered to bring my car to his tow lot so that an adjuster would come and ensure that the repairs would be covered before I dropped thousands of dollars without guaranteed reimbursement. I literally never would have thought of any of this. And I felt so safe as a young woman traveling alone going with him to the auto shop and back to his tow lot. He let my dog ride along with us in the tow truck, and that dog is quick to hate a man but was completely comfortable with Scottie. I had this company towing my car literally one mile to a tire shop, and while he was taking it off the flat bed I heard a loud crunch; but then he went under the car and unhooked his chain and didn't say anything, so I assumed there was no damage. BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF DAMAGE, and he saw what he did and didn't say anything! I contacted them immediately and spoke with the owners wife and they requested pictures of what they did. THEN, they said they would like to pay for the damage "out-of-pocket" I'm assuming they don't have business insurance. Everything was fine until we got the estimate back to fix the car. $938.68 for new bumper $285 for 3 hours of labor $95/hr $96 for 2 hours of paint labor $48/hr $1,319.68 total to replace front bumper When I sent this over to Harwood Towing the officially started ignoring me!! The nerve of these crooks!! I will not stop until they pay to fix the damages they caused! We shouldn't allow companies like this to operate in Livingston. They are crooked and deceiving.
