Read the reviews and thought for sure they would be booked. Called and spoke with Beth and by chance, we were in luck. Booked the room and made the trip. For those of you looking for a 5 Star Resort, keep looking. Anthony's by the Sea is very laid back. Come and go as you please or relax by the pool or on the big patio. The breakfast that Beth serves every morning is fit for a king and will keep you full for hours. Beth and Smitty the owners are as sweet as can be and make you feel like this is your home as well. We will be planning more trips to Rockport and will stay here again. Anthony's by the Sea is a true hidden gem in Rockport.

I'm so glad I found Inn on Main. It has such a charm and personality. A huge difference in the quality of service and value compared to what you expect from a typical small town Hotel. If I forgot something or needed to pee - the house was 200 yards away. Everyone could kind of do their own thing (chill on the deck in the sun or take a nap in the shade, post up on the beach, watch a movie, cook) and at the same time, there was room for everyone to be a family together in the evening. We did The Black Marlin for dinner the first night (spectacular food and pretty good service). We also took advantage of the kitchen for a home-cooked meal the second night. I'm a pretty picky eater and a picky cook, and this kitchen had all the equipment I needed for the weekend. Most importantly - it was the best two nights of sleep I have had in a long, long time.
