We loved this place! The vibe was kinda sports-barish. Lots of tv's. The server was super cool, and the food was very tasty! I got a smoked Old Fashioned, it was perfect. We got the Saucy burger and fries to split. It's was fresh, crispy and delicious! Then, we ordered the Big Skillet Brownie. Excellent and we couldn't finish it. During our visit to Big Whiskey's, thing were a little... off. Like everyone working there was new. Examples: Even though we were obvious college football fans (wearing jerseys!), they seated us at a stuck-in-the-corner booth where all TVs were hard to see and some were impossible, in the completely-empty restaurant. There a hand-full of GREAT college football games going on at the time; their TVs were showing just one game on almost every TV (and it wasn't Arkansas). We requested a couple of other games, and it was like putting them on was extremely difficult. Also, everyone's beers were flat. Not totally flat, but well on the way to it. Everything took a long time. And nobody ever asked if we'd like another drink. It wasn't all bad. My chicken nachos were really good, and I would order them again. My wife said her Southwest Egg Rolls were good (but not as good as Chili's). My dark beer had really good taste (in spite of being flat). I'm generously giving 4 stars because it's a little unfair to judge a place called Big Whiskey's without drinking any whiskey. I hope they make it. This restaurant was a nice find. I was a little hesitant to try it because of the whole gluten-free thing but everything worked out wonderfully. The waiter and manager were patient as I asked all of my GF questions about cross contamination, etc... (The seasoning is not GF and some veggies have the seasoning on them.). I ate grilled chicken and potatoes. Both very tasty. The chicken breast was a real chicken breast, not pre prepared - comes from the factory chicken. Double win! I didn't have any kind of reaction and we ate there again the following day, same results. Most excellent experience. read more

My family came down to visit relatives in Siloam Springs, Arkansas for the weekend and we were leaving on Sunday. On Saturday night I call the Big Whiskey restaurant in Siloam Springs to see if they could reserve a table for 16 people. I was told they could and set the time for 12:45. When we arrived at 12:30, I made sure to be one of the first, I was told we had to wait until the schedule time. We were okay with that but before we had arrived a small group was seated at a table in the area we were going to be in and they decided to spread out so they took the table we were to be seated. We were told by the manager on duty that they could not do anything about it so an hour after our time, one part of the family has left because the children were hungry and our order has just been taken. Is this normal policy? We also have 4 members of our party that are diabetic and waiting is not good for them. If so, we will find another place the next time we are down here. It was 2:15 when our food finally arrived. This really isn't acceptable. read more

Well what can I say? It's bar food. I did enjoy the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich but and the spinach dip is delicious! The mojito was bland with very little flavor. I think they for got to add simple syrup. Our server was energetic and personable. She kept calling my dining mate "girl". Lol. But it was fun. So this place had lots of screens to watch multiple sporting events, dimly lit unless you are near the front of the building by the windows. They have a large bar area. read more

I've been around Siloam A lot, but have never stepped foot into the establishment until of recent! I don't know what's with the other reviews but we love it! It's our favorite place to go on week days or weekends. Plenty of whiskey & beer choices to choose from & food! It never fails anytime we come up. They know us when we walk in & 9 times out of 10 already know what we want which is a huge 10 plus for us! Service is fast & efficient which is great! Only slight con is the music, but that's mainly because we're Country Music folks but that's not enough to bring it down to 4 stars. & if your that picky they have a juke box you can pay a couple dollars to select whatever you want to listen to! read more

Decided to give BW a try while visiting Siloam Springs for the day. I walked right up to the bar and within seconds the bartender asked what I was drinking. She then told me about their drink specials. My ears tuned into the "Bloody Marry" pitcher or individual glass. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to ask for Tosha when you visit. She made a killer BM!!! Absolutely perfect! I couldn't leave without having at least two! The classic cheese burger was thick and juicy right down to the last bite! Tosha was spot on, attentive and an absolute dream bartender. What a pleasant server... In fact, I would definitely be one of her regulars if I were local. Without a doubt, I will be back!! As a side note: They have the TouchTunes jukebox if you enjoying playing your favorite tunes while you dine. It doesn't get any better than this! It took an hour and a half to get our food when there were no more than 10 people counting ourselves in the restaurant. The food was horrible, my hamburger didn't have everything on it and was over cooked and my wife's steak was so over done and tough she couldn't eat it. Definitely has went downhill. Bathrooms need to be fixed the faucet handle come off in my wife's hand and men's room paper towels you get a sliver of towel at a time. Very disappointed it use to be a great place to eat. It made me give it 1 star to post this or I wouldn't have given it any. Several others that came in after us weren't happy either. Some just got there's to go. read more

I was going to my seat from the restroom and was stopped and told to leave the restaurant because I was in an area I wasn't supposed to be in. No markings telling me not to be there. I was just returning to my seat. Then was told to exit the restaurant, so I paid my bill $109.00 WTF, some was happy hour and were we overt served to, if so the restaurant is responsible. We are home safely by the way. So what is going to happen to the team on 4/20/2024 to resolve this issue. The to manager and bar tenders should be responsible for this incident. read more

My salad appeared to be from a bag it was brown in places and certainly not fresh, there was an ant or something crawling from the bottom of the plate. I was with a friend and did not want him to notice it so I brushed it off the table. I ordered a steak it looked like a piece of leather and had a strange taste to it, when cutting into the steak it appeared as if it was microwaved not real sure but I it was not rare, medium nor well done it was more of a solid gray color. Diarrhea for Party of 4!!!! We arrived at Big Whiskeys of Siloam Springs on Sunday December 26, 2021 around 7pm. The restaurant was around 66% empty. All 4 people ordered different food: Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Philly Cheese Steak, one of the Burgers, & Pan Seared Tilapia. We didn't mind the 35 minute or longer wait for food on a non-busy day. However we DID mind the burnt Burger, hard burger bun, soggy Philly Steak bun, cold Broccoli, no sauce on the Wrap, and getting the salad 5 minutes after the rest of the food. All 4 people had 1 or 2 things wrong with their order, but we simply overlooked that too. We didn't need all the Silverware or even use it, but noticed some if it was dirty. The men's restroom floor was also covered in a 2 foot by 1 foot puddle of pee. Later after talking on the phone we learnt that 3 out of 4 people had diarrhea within 20 minutes of eating at Big Whiskeys in Siloam Springs. The 4th person had diarrhea within 60 minutes of eating at Big Whiskeys, while still drinking from a Big Whiskeys take-out cup full of ice from the restaurant. read more

I thought it would be a great place to watch the lakers game and I was wrong, so we went in and got a table and it took over 20 minutes for a server to come get our order, and to get 2 beers took over 30 more minutes. Then, when we got the beers they were both luke warm and there was no head on the beer. There were more than plenty servers and still had to wait such a long period of time to even get a server. Stopped there for lunch hoping for a good experience based on what was available in the area. We were seated and gave our order to our waitress shortly after being seated. One hamburger and one Cobb salad. After the first 30 minutes our server stopped by to tell us our food would be out directly. So we resumed talking until she returned approximately 30 minutes later to assure us that our food was about to be served. Another 23 minutes later she returned with food but, unfortunately it was not ours, it was for a table that was sat about 20 minutes after us. At this point we asked our server what the deal was and she again replied that our food was up next. We then asked for our tab so we could leave and go elsewhere to which she replied that she would send her manager out with it. When the manger (a barely legal looking young lady) arrived we were told that they were shorthanded and that she was having to cook as well and she was happy to pack our food to-go at a discounted price. Trying to be understanding we agreed and we waited for her to return with our food at the discounted rate. Ha she reduced our ticket by 10% and shoved it sloppily into take out boxes and bid us a good day! So after a solid hour and 40 minutes we left with a Luke warm hamburger and fries and a box of salad greens for nearly thirty dollars. My husband and I were in Big Whiskeys Siloam Springs last night (Friday June 3rd 2022) we and not yet received our food and we're enjoying our drinks. Our servers Hatti and Tasha were doing an excellent job!! It was 9 minutes after 10pm when the juke box started play EXTREMELY explicit music. Now I'm no prude but this music was down right AWFUL!! It was making even my husband who is NOT easily offended at all, very uncomfortable. The song was talking about oral sex and using very crude terminology for male genitalia. There were two young girls prob ages 9 and 12 sitting at a table near ours and immediately their dad escorted them out. We mentioned it to our server and she stated that the jukebox was allowed to be played after 10 PM and the patrons pick the songs and there's just nothing that they could do about it, we then stated yes but there are still families in here can't you do something about it she went to tell the manager who made No attempt to do anything about it. My husband proceeded to get up and turn the jukebox off himself. That is when the manager came out and seemed to be more concerned about my husband turning off the jukebox than the music that was playing very loudly in the restaurant I don't care what your rules are about the jukebox and the time of day etc if there are children and families still present, come on have some more class than that this is still a family restaurant in our small and somewhat conservative town. read more
