Good solid supermarket. They always seem to have what's on our shopping list. Never any problems in the selection department. Solid bakery, deli counter, excellent produce, lots of made to order take-out stuff like sandwiches and pizza. Always have bargains to be found, whether its mark downs or bogos. Up front staff is pretty good. Good price on frozen shrimp by the bag, even better when its 2 bags for the price of one. Got a really nice price on a whole chicken, marked down a few bucks with an impending sell-by date. Its beer-can chicken tonight, baby ! Gold Coins, silver coins, spin the wheel games, all kinds of amusements and money savers.

I guess there was an early morning run on watermelon today.

Having an Amazon account pays off with additional discounts on sale items. They have the usual hot bar, foodstuffs, bakery, meat and seafood, produce and pantry items. Depending on when you come sometimes they run out of what you're looking for like specific breads, yogurt, etc. On specific days they also have additional discounts like buy one get one 50% off on sushi and they discount things coming close to expiration like cookies and salad kits. They also still give out free paper bags, even at self checkout.

Like, for example, they have an extensive selection of kimchi offerings. I also appreciate finding brands like Primal in stock. But, as other Yelpers have already stated, the prices are considerably more expensive than items found in your "normal grocery store". One reason might be the small ARMY of staff they have working here. I arrived just after they opened at 8am this morning, EVERY aisle had at least two or three employees stocking shelves. Yeah, the store is nice & clean, but I imagine the higher prices on stock reflect that level of staffing. The parking lot can be a mini adventure to navigate, but I try to get here early to avoid too much hassle. And since Whole Foods in Avon is a 20 mile round trip for me, I only come here to shop occasionally.

Fun fact: Stop and Shop (in Rhode Island) was my first job as a teenager; it's come a long way…read moresince then. They now offer employee discount and a higher starting wage. This particular S&S is really new and high-tech looking. They have better self scan systems and handheld self scanners. I recommend using the self scanners to save on time; just make sure you have a stop and shop card. The self scan kioks were a little finicky but once you're used to it, it runs smoothly; they have security in place and alerts the employees of any issues. The employees at the self checkouts were very helpful. They still have the S&S card, you can easily sign up at the service desk or online, to get sale items. If you don't have a card, just ask the employee to scan one for you. The service provided by the other employees there on our recent trip was good; deli and seafood counters specifically. The aisles were organized and fully stocked; the prices were average to above average (it's no Aldi). My kids were very entertained by the robot roaming around! (And so were we) We surely didn't have that back in the early 2000's; we've come a long way with technology. Parking was plentiful and when we went (Friday evening) it was quiet. This has become my new favorite Stop and Shop!

Yeah, gross.. and to have this "display" right by the entrance in front of the filthy carts and ATM makes NO sense to me and in my opinion a health hazard. Putting dead and dying flowers on top of the unit is like putting glitter on crap... Y'all need to do better, or hire some better people who use more than 1 brain cell to come up with ideas...

It's clean, spacious, has a robotic inventory machine, seems to be organized well, and staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. There is a small flower and plant section, bakery, deli, along with the usual pantry items. Perhaps it's because we went first thing on a weekend but I liked it! And I would rather purchase meat and seafood here than at a Stop and Shop. Sign up for the loyalty card and get those digital coupons. There are also the usual self checkout lanes, with the regular staffed lines. It's also located in a convenient complex with quite a few retail shops and a Panera. They also own Price Rite, which was a very affordable grocery store I used to go to in Rhode Island. This place reminded me of Publix in Florida. There were plenty of cash registers open and I love the self checkouts. The store was large and clean. The bakery section had baked fresh items. I loved the prepared foods section; the smell made me salivate. Pro tip: don't go there hungry. They had rotisserie chicken, prepared sides, sushi, and fresh produce. If you want to preorder a cake, download their app and schedule a pickup. I think the prices were comparable to other standard grocery stores nearby. Overall, a good market to get all your grocery shopping needs.
