All of us wished we never stopped. They provided helmets, goggles, and bandanas, along with two side-by-sides and a double UTV. Our guide, Taylor, took us up and around rugged trails from 5,600 to 8,200 feet bouncing over rocks, splashing through water, exhilarating the whole way. We only stopped for the breathtaking views and no shortage of photo ops. Don't hesitate, just do it! My family raved about it.

Wil attributed the short ride to "changes in the wind" and that it wasn't safe to continue. We parked in the walmart parking lot and drove to the airport as well- but we didn't land in the walmart parking lot, we landed back at the airport after doing a quick cruise over some houses and the airport field, We too we're asked to assist with the set up and break down of the balloon. I actually thought that part was fun as we had never been on a hot air balloon ride and it was like an immersive field trip. However, now that I read these other yelp reviews, the balloon ride was very very short and did not cover any real area or take us to see anything cool, Again, we had never been on a hot air balloon ride, so didn't really have anything to judge our experience on- but in retrospect, I probably would check out a different company as there were other balloons in the sky that day that were up really high in the sky and seemed to have a longer "air time". We even commented and pointed at the other balloons way up in the sky as we floated just above residential roof tops.

We took off from the Heber Valley Airport second balloon in the air from all the other companies giving tours. We started off great but our HOT AIR BALLOON ride and experience got DEFLATED by his decisions and for reasons only known by him. We floated across the airport, over route 189, into Walmart parking lot. He screamed from the balloon for help to a couple parked in Walmart parking lot taking photos of us to assist with the landing. After landing and getting out of the balloon some of us assisting to get the balloon and basket to the location he wanted for loading purposes. I was able to walked back to my vehicle parked in the Walmart parking lot , which was the morning meeting spot . The owner Will and pilot that day didn't even seemed phased by the experience he gave to his 7 paying customers that day. I payed over $300.00 dollars for this disappointment. I highly DO NOT recommend this company. Google the distance from Heber Valley Airport to Walmart Heber and you'll be shocked at the experience we received. I also attached a map for your viewing purposes before you decide to experience what all 7 of us did. He allowed 11 students in one class -all skill levels(definitely effects 20 min of tow/air time)uses 1 boat and no backup, doesn't provide a syllabus in advance, doesn't specify the type of radios (frs/gmrs/ham/aviation) or life preservers he requires or the channel setup (or why the use of HAM radio mid-frequency when the Utah paraglider rules specifically states no ham frequencies will be used for SIV training). He's cryptic about the location of the water training, is never on time, bad mouths other air sport pilots and gear and comes across rude in text and email when requesting detailed information. He'd prefer you pay him $75 to stay at his house rather than tell you only one day is spent there for class training and that the location for water training allows free BLM camping on Utah Lake. Although there are no facilities on site, there is plenty of room for multiple Class A RVs, campers, tents etc... 40.1985414n 111.8867857w are the coordinates he gives for directions to the water training site. You can not drive directly there. In normal people directions it's "...HWY 68 to mile marker 19 take the gravel road towards the lake...park at the top of the bench(flat area) if you are in an rv." You can drive an auto down to the cement barricade and park. You have to haul your gear apx. 1/2 mile from the cement barricade, (near the water/boat launch,) so bring a wagon, chair, drinks, food, and shade pop-up. There is no secure area for gear so you take gear home each night. The information gleaned from this course is useful but you need to seriously consider the value of your time, size of class etc... when deciding to commit to this course.

The boots are in great condition as well and the men in the shop are careful and knowledgable about how to fit each person to the best skis and best boots. They know what they are doing...and it's a comfort to know they are invested in skier safety. We have been a faithful customer for the past 3 years and feel so fortunate to have found them.
