As a philly native, you always want to step into the places claiming to be the best cheesesteaks. We ordered a philly, chicken philly, two cheese burgers, two fries, two drinks and a mac n cheese and it run up around $100 including a tip. Steep price to pay, but was hopeful. I'll start with the positives. Mac and Cheese was fantastic. that's the end of the positive. The customer service is poor. I don't mind waiting for food, even have a sign for it when they are busy, but they weren't overly busy. When reminded of something that was missing was met with an attitude and a half ass root beer float (ordered by family) that rung up at $10. The cheesesteak is terrible. The meat is tough (opposite of a real philly), the cheese wiz isn't true cheese wiz, and just cause of the size doesn't make up for it in taste. The fries aren't seasoned and aren't grand. taste almost like frozen potatoes. Burgers were nothing great either especially for a cheeseburger priced at $15. there isn't a whole lot of room to sit anywhere, so the atmosphere is tight and can only imagine when truly busy. We heard some good reviews on a YouTube video and found it was near our cabin and wanted to give it a try. The prices were a little high, but the cheesesteaks were pretty good. They certainly don't skimp on meat. The meat on the classic was good, but I felt needed more seasoning and had a few tough chewy pieces. I tried my husband's of the ribeye version and that was so much better! Fries were good tasting but zero crispness. Others in my family tried the chicken wings and raved about their buffalo sauce. Many places don't use enough cheese but this one made me happy cause we love cheese. The people who work there are great. They explained everything to us and gave us wonderful recommendations. We are frequent visitors of Pigeon Forge and the Smokey mountains so we know this location well. It has been many different stores but hopefully this restaurant is here to stay. The dining room is nothing special and the bathrooms are weird but the food is delicious and plentiful. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, fast service and cook time. Nothing to not love here. It was good. They really fill your sandwich up with meat. It would've been really good if they toasted the bun and the sandwich was hot cause mine was cold. I wish they had cooked the onions more as well. They say they're caramelized onions but they're still kinda hard. The waffle fries were good and fresh! The mac and cheese is super cheesy and didn't have much flavor. It's also really mushy so I wouldn't get that again not for $6. They're also kind of expensive but I wonder if I would come back and just request the things to make my sandwich to my preferences. They're really nice though! Everyone expects to pay tourist pricing in a remote place like this, but this place takes it to the next level. $25 for a double cheese burger (without fry's!). $29 for a 12" Philly (without fry's). Been back twice in the last few weeks (lack of food options in the area) and won't be back again. On both visits, the Philly tasted different, second trip the Philly didn't have any seasoning on it. BOTH times the Philly was very greasy. Service isn't friendly at all. Place is dirty and run down. No music inside, it's just a bland feeling and makes you want to sit on the patio, eat quick and never come back. Bathrooms are gross and they can't even fill the hand towels, they just place a roll of paper towels on top of the empty dispenser. Food comes out randomly. 1st visit, fry's came out first, and were cold by the time the sub arrived. Second trip, hot dog came out first, then the fry's then the sub. I feel like they are in the back laughing at all the silly tourists who would pay this amount for poor quality food. I guarantee EVERYONE who visits and doesn't read any reviews before arriving has sticker shock on the silly high prices. I can only comment on their pizza , for we were staying just up the hill and it was dark and the dog need to go for a walk. I first called and was told I'd have to come in to order because they were lined up to the door. Ask what size pizza that had and they said small and large do I ask like 8" & 14 he said yes. Upon pick up the pizza was in a tin to go plate with clear plastic lid and was lucky to be 6" across. In tasting..... I'd been more satisfied with a Red Barron from the dollar general. No apologies, absolutely crappy tone and angry as if it was the customer's fault that their business is run so poorly. ANYONE who has been to a real Cheesesteak place in Philly knows that speed in important. They clearly have no idea how to truly manage any sort of volume whatsoever.
