As a philly native, you always want to step into the places claiming to be the best cheesesteaks. We ordered a philly, chicken philly, two cheese burgers, two fries, two drinks and a mac n cheese and it run up around $100 including a tip. Steep price to pay, but was hopeful. I'll start with the positives. Mac and Cheese was fantastic. that's the end of the positive. The customer service is poor. I don't mind waiting for food, even have a sign for it when they are busy, but they weren't overly busy. When reminded of something that was missing was met with an attitude and a half ass root beer float (ordered by family) that rung up at $10. The cheesesteak is terrible. The meat is tough (opposite of a real philly), the cheese wiz isn't true cheese wiz, and just cause of the size doesn't make up for it in taste. The fries aren't seasoned and aren't grand. taste almost like frozen potatoes. Burgers were nothing great either especially for a cheeseburger priced at $15. there isn't a whole lot of room to sit anywhere, so the atmosphere is tight and can only imagine when truly busy. They certainly don't skimp on meat. The meat on the classic was good, but I felt needed more seasoning and had a few tough chewy pieces. Not your typical place to go for a cheese steak sandwich but it didn't disappoint. The sandwiches were loaded with plenty of cheese. Many places don't use enough cheese but this one made me happy cause we love cheese. The people who work there are great. They explained everything to us and gave us wonderful recommendations. Bathrooms are gross and they can't even fill the hand towels, they just place a roll of paper towels on top of the empty dispenser. Food comes out randomly. 1st visit, fry's came out first, and were cold by the time the sub arrived. Second trip, hot dog came out first, then the fry's then the sub. I feel like they are in the back laughing at all the silly tourists who would pay this amount for poor quality food. I can only comment on their pizza , for we were staying just up the hill and it was dark and the dog need to go for a walk. I first called and was told I'd have to come in to order because they were lined up to the door. Ask what size pizza that had and they said small and large do I ask like 8" & 14 he said yes. So I apologized and said ok we didn't know so I said we'll be sitting outside waiting for him to take our orders, we went outside to sit in a very cramped space with people sitting on top of each other and after waiting 45 minutes waiting on someone to take our order we decided to leave and won't be back ! But we do wanna say thank you for your terrible service and unprofessional service to use we decided to drive on down the road and found a place called wears valley social food truck park just 3 miles down the road that was very nice and a nice setting with 4-5 food trucks with anything you'd like and with live music which was very pleasant and plan to visit from here on out when we come to visit !
