Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area for the food quality, quality and service! There's a good bit of parking in the back and front and looks like they converted a fast food restaurant into this establishment. We were seated quickly with chips and salsa and waters served right after. After perusing the menu, I went with a taco salad, and my family went with Shrimp fajitas, chicken chimichanga and pollo Jalisco. Our food came within 10min and the portions were huge! My chicken in the taco salad was well seasoned and loved the sauce that it came with. I tried a piece of each of the other dishes which were also super good. If you are visiting Pigeon Forge and craving some authentic Mexican food, definitely come here for a filling meal! read more

Let's face it, if you spend more than a few days in the Gatlinburg area, the same old country style food can get old. If you are looking for a change of scenery like we were on our recent trip, this place is for you! The parking lot could be a little bigger, but still had enough room when we arrived around dinner time. The food was your typical Mexican restaurant food. That's not to say that it wasn't excellent, because it was great! The salsa, chips, and cheese dip were fantastic. The birria tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their food as well. The waiter did an excellent job ensuring that we had plenty to drink and plenty of chips. He was very kind and made us feel like local regulars. The veggie burrito is a great deal--lots of fresh cut vegetables, lots of cheese. The huevos con chorizo were solid--would order again. Could have a bit more bite. Chips and salsa adequate. It's a small restaurant & the parking is bit tight, so try to limit the # cars when coming here. My family & I've eaten here few times, we love it. The food is always hot & fresh, there's a variety of alcoholic drinks and small variety of non-alcoholic drinks like coca-cola, sprite & jarritos (Mexican flavored soda). After picking up my car from getting repairs at the excellent T&J's Auto Repairs, my friend and I headed over here for lunch based on their recommendation. This restaurant is located in the less touristy city of Sevierville outside of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. As soon as I walked in the door I knew this was exactly what were looking for. They have the beautiful carved chairs and colorful tables with paintings of Mexico on them. The decor is beautiful. The server was extremely friendly and attentive. We were instantly greeted with fresh chips and salsa while we reviewed the menu. I ordered the chimichangas from the lunch menu while my friend had the taco and enchilada combo. Both meals came with beans and rice but I opted for just extra rice. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Prices were great too. It was just what we were craving. Parking is a little weird, but glad we went it, it was packed! Really cool interior / theme. The chips and salsa we a let down. Boring salsa lacked flavor. Big menu, lots of options and food came out fast. Staff was nice despite being very busy and the main dining area was clean, but the bathroom was trashed and gross. Food was.... ok. Certainly had better. I had grilled Carne Asada and grilled shrimp off the "Best of Land and Sea" It was alright overall and I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying this place but I won't ever be back. read more

First the girl with braces is super rude, from start to finish. I'll just say with her stepping all over my son and talking crap in Spanish about me (just because people don't look the part doesn't mean they can't understand) should have been red flags. She had a whole attitude with me from the get go for no reason other than we were told 25 minutes to wait and we waited an hour. Yea we had a large group, but after 40 minutes of waiting we were hoping some timeframe but nope, we at the time were even willing to split up, until they stuck 10 people in two tiny booths. I had to get up and ask to move to the large table that opened up because we couldn't even move. Second: I told the I'm assuming manager the food was good because at the time it was. Not even an hour after leaving my 4 year old son was vomiting and had diarrhea (the son she was pushing on), I myself had explosive vomiting, and my other son had explosive vomiting. Here's hoping the fourth doesn't vomit. One can't help but think our vomiting is intentional as she had an attitude and so did a few servers. Because as locals we've eaten here NUMEROUS times and have NEVER have gotten sick. I will be reporting our symptoms to the health department in hopes that other people don't become violently ill like me and my children have. It's probably in the restaurants best interest that us falling ill was mere food poisoning and not intentionally done by brace face. AVOID. We will never return. read more
