The My place diner is simply a no frills good place to get a breakfast. Lots of regulars and the prices are very reasonable for what you get! My husband and I tried My Place Diner based on the Yelp reviews, but I'm sorry to say that Yelp let me down. As soon as we walked in, everyone looked up at us. That's how small the place is. Every table was taken, and a server came to take our phone number so we could be called upon when a table opened up. As we were seated, I noticed that the place smelled a bit. I soon learned why. We were seated one foot away from the unisex restroom, with the door opening facing our table. I was immediately grossed out, and I don't feel like I need to explain further. The breakfasts include coffee, but I wasn't impressed with the lukewarm weak coffee. The coffee mugs are nice though. My breakfast was good, but the bountiful serving was crammed into a small plate that didn't leave room to move food around without spilling some on the table. The dining experience was further spoiled by the rainy day since the dirt parking lot turned muddy. read more

What a dive! What a gem! This is the kind of breakfast and lunch dive you've been searching for. First, know that if you are a group of two at a table for four you may end up meeting some new people. This is a small place with limited seating. And the ambiance is dive. Wood panel walls with etchings of cabins and wagons and waterfalls surround you. The servers are kind and straight forward. She helped us figure out the best way to order my 9 year olds odd requests and not make it expensive. The food is great! It came out HOT and fresh. Real cracked eggs made perfectly to order. Crispy, buttery hashbrowns and beautiful yummy pancakes. Come early if you want sausage gravy. My wife ordered biscuits and gravy and got the last of it for the day as they make the gravy in house and it's one batch a day. When it's out it's out. We all smashed our food fast and everyone went home full. We already are talking about going back for lunch because those burgers look sooo good. read more

Great home town spot! Super cost effective menu with an amazing waitstaff! You're drinks over flow and they talk you through the whole timing process! The wait to sit can get long with larger parties, as the food staff and environment are great and inviting. Come early before the rush and you should be fine! We will be back soon! read more

This is under new management, and they are doing things RIGHT!! Wonderful, friendly service from a nice family! The prices can't be beat, wither I had the grilled ham and cheese on Texas Toast, and I'm sure I won't stop talking about it for days!! I also had French fries, which were not seasoned, but I threw some salt on them and they were much better. Also had onion rings that were made with thin onions, and they were REALLY good, too!! My boyfriend had a cheeseburger and he ate it so fast like he couldn't get enough. He ordered hash browns and they were really good, too! The place needs some updating, it sure is a dive, but it's clean, staff was attentive and really friendly, and the food was delicious!! read more

Watch out for daughter of owner. She did not like when we complained about an over cook omelet when we paid and gave us a hard time about it. They moved the register out to a free-standing booth. I had a stroke and lost fine muscle control. They have a small place to sign CC. I explained my problem that I wanted to go to the counter and sign the CC and she said no I could use a clip board, did she get me one NO. Today I went to pay and ask for a clip board, and one was not available so went to counter to sign and the owner's daughter wanted to give me a clip board, I told her no I was at the counter and told me to go to the table too sign. I sign the bill at the counter at was told not come back. Very power hunger and what she says to customers has to be obeyed. She said she was nothing but nice to my and I have been nothing but rude to her. Hope the owner reads this but I don't anything will change. We eat in there twice a week.
