Julie, the owner, along with the wonderful baristas--Lexi, Sammy, Natalie, and Amy--create an atmosphere that truly feels like community. If you stop in, you have to try the Fluffer Nutter crepe. It's my personal favorite, and it never disappoints. Pair it with a good cup of coffee and you're set. The shop itself has such a comfortable vibe. Soft music plays quietly in the background while the front area is filled with tables and chairs perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. In the back, there's even more seating--including a cozy couch and two chairs that I honestly wish I owned. What keeps me coming back, though, is the loyalty and care these ladies show to their customers and community. You can feel it the moment you walk in. If you enjoy great coffee, delicious crepes, and a welcoming place to sit and stay awhile, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Event: 25th Anniversary Celebration I talked to Julie the…read moreowner about a month ago to see if our group of 20 people could come in for crêpes as part of an anniversary celebration. I knew that was a lot of people to come in all at once and I did not want to overwhelm her or the ones helping her make crepes that day. She was very accommodating and said that she would make sure that there were 2 crêpe makers there to be able to handle the group. We explained that we were doing a Flash Mob Dance at the Lighthouse down the street and could not get to her restaurant until a little after 1 o'clock. ( Yes I wrote a review for the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Museum that talks about what happened !). Since she usually closes at 2 o'clock on Saturdays, she said she would close to the public at 2pm..., but leave the restaurant open for one more hour so that we could all be there together and visit with each other! Now that is good Customer Service! The two girls that were making the crêpes did a great job! Everyone loved the crêpes and the cozy cute vibe. Many that were in our group had never been to this restaurant before - so we were happy to introduce them to this super cute restaurant in Fairport Harbor! Tucked away in a non-descript strip center on Mentor Ave. in Painesville, Ohio; this beautiful Middle Eastern cafe/bakery/coffee shop is a real jewel. It is very nicely appointed, with plenty of seating, and plenty of room. The marvelous display case faces you as soon as you enter. And it has some of the most amazing offerings you will find outside of the Mediterranean community. The coffee and beverage offerings are everything you would expect, plus many selections you would never anticipate. And the pastries on display are absolutely beautiful just to look at... Like art work. Your eyes will be screaming at you to buy it all and eat it immediately! My wife ordered an iced coffee with a pastry that was a combination of chocolate fudge and pistachio cream topped with a drizzle of caramel. So decadent... so wonderful! I had a fantastic Pistachio Latte (amazing) with something I have never seen outside of Sicily - "Frutta Martorana". It is a fabulous Arab/Sicilian pastry treat designed to look like real fruit. And it tastes like the fruit it looks like (see pictures). All I can say is, be hungry and be ready for desserts you have never had before. It will be an amazing experience. The gluten-free crust was light and bubbly, though a bit on the well-done side, which I didn't mind. Overall, yes, yes, and yaaas! The roast beef and swiss sandwich on the gluten-free baguette was generous, rustic, and delicious. Caramelized onions, mushrooms, horseradish, stacked layers of roast beef and melty swiss were super satisfying. And let's not forget the sweets. We had 2 different cupcakes. They were watery and bland, even with cheese. We were pretty disappointed with our meal. Maybe after a while, they will improve, and we'll try again later
