My family visits this location a couple times per month, sometimes more. Today they were playing music that was disturbing. It was a loud, whiny EMO type playlist with high beats per minute. Not a Sunday morning at 10:30 vibe and not pleasant for our 88-year-old dad. I asked twice if they could change the station or turn it down. The reply was "they can't do anything." I usually love this location and people , i really don't want this to reflect badly on them. But I went through and honestly think i'm going to start recording myself when I order from here from now on. I asked for two iced matchas one with almond milk and both with extra flavor . They pass me out an iced matcha and a hot matcha so I ask if they're iced and she says no and i was wondering if the iced one she did give me was the almond one, she was surprised and asked me if any of them had almond and i said yes they do , at this point im wondering if they have the extra flavor and she is getting annoyed with me and says no. I'm not looking for a free drink I just wanted what i ordered so I offered her the drink back and said I am willing to go back around have them cancel my first order and pay again for what I wanted . That won't work for her (I know for a fact they can do that) so she gives me two new drinks and says that they have extra flavor . I can assure you these drinks have less flavor than a normal one would have . I have made these matchas many many times and know what one with less flavor tastes like . At this point im just drained and am sick of being treated like a liar so I leave . I don't mind mistakes even one like getting one hot one iced two oat milk and no extra flavor out of two iced one almond and extra flavor that is okay i will never yell or be mean to someone just trying to do their job. but it is an issue when i get treated rudely and then very purposefully given drinks I did not order . Great well made drinks and thoughtful staff. Ordered 5 drinks and all were exactly what we wanted. They forgot to give us a promotional discount they had going on and they caught it themselves and gave us a refund for the discount. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Trenton. read more

I've been to this Biggby location a number of times since they opened and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. The customer service is always spot on, the store is kept clean and there isn't the pretentiousness that fills a Starbucks. Our favorite drink is the Cinnamon Spice Tea Latte either hot or blended. We also like the fact that the music is not overpowering and is kept at a reasonable level. Before anyone thinks that I'm a cranky, old guy that doesn't like loud music keep in mind I've seen Iron Maiden in concert four times and Alice Cooper too. Overall, we would certainly recommend this Biggby to anyone. read more

My husband and I drive out of our way to give this Biggby store our business. We changed from another Biggby store about two years ago, after the previous Biggby's barista's lazy attitude drove us away--flavoring was consistently too strong or someone would add whipped cream to my latte when, five minutes earlier, I ordered my latte with 'no whip'. We drove by the shopping center that the Trenton Biggby is in and decided to try it. From the first visit, everyone was so nice--they actually talked to us for a few minutes. Now, two years later, we visit on average 2-3 times a month and the staff knows us. They know our favorite drinks and ask us how our day is, or what we are doing that day. We have discussed things like good/bad restaurants, tv shows, celebrated our anniversaries and birthdays--in short, just average conversations, but they care about their customers. The drinks are always balanced just right and drink recommendations are great. The owner, James, is really nice and he and his staff keep the store spotless. I also love that Biggby Trenton contributes to the community and is also (to my knowledge) the only Biggby store downriver that actively posts on all social media and has lots of specials and coupons.
