The food wasn't made correctly. I paid for items not received. Then requested comp condiments that wasent received. I'd ask the employees about the bbq sauce I'd requested, she replied there was one in the bag. I'd requested the sauce on the side of four meals! Me and my family absolutely love this restaurant we go here every Sunday after church but today we went and instead of the bigger cups of Mac and cheese I got this little tiny boat of Mac and cheese keep in mind the Mac and cheese is my favorite part of the meal and I got bearly anything and my sister got a bigger cup and didn't even have to ask. Are they calling me fat? Not to sure but I was so upset I started to cry but other than that I love this place but they should really go back to the cups. read more

Rolled up after a full days drive out of the barbecue desert and was glad we stopped. My husband enjoyed the jalapeño garlic sausage and thought that the brisket was tasty. The Frito pie while untraditional was super good. Fritos topped with brown beans, brisket , cheese and upon request sour cream. I'd eat it again today. The kids meal (buckaroo basket) was huge and well enjoyed by my 6 year old. That corn? Yum-o. Practical things now. Quick service counter set up. I've lived in Lubbock majority of my life, and for some reason never stop by this place any of them. Today I decided to go and get a chop beef sandwich they a special that to give a sandwich with your choice of meat. Customer service was awesome. We expect the price to be a little high cause it's barbecue. I drive all the way home. Happy to have my food, but I thought the bag felt like I opened up the clamshell with a half filled. Container of okra any damn slider of a chopped beef sandwich if this is what you're serving shut the fucking doors down close up file bankruptcy. This is horrible. Well, you can get a better chop beef sandwich from tpot and totem a gas station. I have wondered why every time I drive by these places they're almost empty every single day I used to think they had to be laundering money or doing something unless now I know they're doing something wrong. There's no way they should be open. There's no way they should have staff unless they're working for free. Don't waste your time guys. There are so many other places in town JM BBQ, Rudy's, Eva Mae's, TOOT N TOT'em, just the name of you. And Bigham's you should be embarrassed to sell that as your food will never ever return and tell everybody that I ever talk to you about barbecue to never go there unless they wanna get ripped off literally spent $20 on a baby kids meal.. you need to do better that's sad read more

I would advise not to order for delivery I ordered 2-2meat meals and 1-3meat meal. Had ribs/sliced brisket on one of the two meat meals the ribs cost an extra $3.00 and were very small the sliced brisket looked like it was about 3 slices that had been sliced in half too make it look like 6 but those slices were just over bite size. For almost $78.00 I was very disappointed in the meals I felt were way over priced. The UberEats cost was much fairer and the delivery very prompt. The meal charge without the delivery was way too expensive for what was sent. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered door dash and they told my dasher they would not prepare my to go order until there was no line. After trying the brisket last time and finding it dry and flavorless I decided to try something else at a different location today, you know, give them another chance. Maybe other stuff on the menu is good. Never even got my order. I called to confirm what they told my dasher. The woman on the phone was very rude, and said "customers take priority". I would give 3 and a half stars if possible. We ordered the family pack of 4 meats and 4 sides. Some loved the shredded brisket, while others enjoyed the turkey. Some found the sausage to be over salted. The pulled pork was so so. For sides, the fries were good and a nice size portion, the mac and cheese was so so, as was the cole slaw. A poll of our group had two people giving dinner 3 1/2 stars and two giving 4. There's too much barbecue competition here to repeat a mediocre experience. read more

On the way back from a 10-day road trip to South Padre Island, TX, we realized that we'd not had any Texas BBQ. So we decided on this place. The smoked chicken, turkey and brisket were all excellent - especially the brisket (so moist and tender). The sides were good too (pinto beans, potato salad). Great service; decent ambiance. I'm trying to find my go-to spot for bbq in Lubbock so I thought I'd check this place out. I called ahead so that I wouldn't have to wait but I might as well not have called and stood in line with everyone else! I waited 30 minutes for a 1/2 chicken! No apologies for the wait and the chicken was just ok. Edible but not good bbq to me. On top of that, they apparently don't require customers to wear masks. There was a man who stood in line with at least 10 other customers and he had on no mask at all. No staff member told him that he needed to put a mask on. read more

The phone system feels like a corporate monstrosity is about to swallow your call, but it isn't as bad as it starts out. The order was ready promptly. But the pricing doesn't match the menu prices in Yelp! (Some better, some worse.) I'm a big BBQ person so I had to give this place a try. So first off, this place is in a plaza so there loads of parking and its easy to get in and get out. Every time i've come there has been different workers but for the most part, they're polite and speedy with orders. The plates are expensive but for the quality of the food it's worth it! It's set up like a buffet, you get in line with a tray and order and pay at the register before sitting down. There's not really a lot of people that go there (at least not the times that i've gone) so theres always seating available. read more
