Dr. Bijoor could not have been better! We needed water laser treatment on my newborn to fix her tongue tie. The Dr also diagnosed lip tie, which no one else had noticed. My son was so excited for his very first dentist appointment and he was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in to the moment he left he had a very enjoyable experience. The women at the front desk were incredibly sweet and thoughtful with him, and the dentist and assistant were so patient with him when he got a bit shy or stubborn, and spoke to him in a way that made him comfortable to open up. They're condescending, argumentative and impatient. They rolled their eyes when you ask them questions. They have hygienists perform the cleanings. While some are excellent, others are TERRIBLE. On one visit the hygienist didn't get any of the plaque off my son's teeth. We walked away with dirty teeth, but had to pay the bill anyway. They promised me that the dentist would do the cleaning on our next visit, but that was a lie. They promised me one subsequent free cleaning and that was a lie too. My bill is different on every visit. They charged me for procedures that they didn't perform and weren't covered by insurance. I paid A LOT out of pocket. I stupidly let them convince me into bringing my son back 3 times. I have enough aggravation in my life without having to pay top dollar for awful service and lousy attitudes. read more

I wanted to share a recent experience I had with Dr. Bijoor and her staff (Johainke and Gada). My daughters went to have a simple lip tie procedure fixed and we were blindsided by the following: 1) The procedure was covered but the laser was not. They charge $100 for use the laser and said that it was to pay for the extra staff they needed to supervise. 2) They code the second routine follow-up visit as an exam - when it's just a quick 10 minute check-up and should not be considered an exam. When speaking to my insurance provider she said they have never seen this before. I was forced to pay a co-pay since it was "the second exam within the year" I will be following up with my insurance provider to file an appeal and possibly the BBB to report fraud. I should have listened to the past reviews. Johanke and the rest of the office staff are misleading, incompetent and will try to take you for all your money. BEWARE read more

Dr.Bijoor is a fantastic pediatric dentist and most importantly she offers laser dentistry which my kids absolutely love! No shots, no drills for cavities! Always a pleasant experience for checkups and dental treatment. The receptionists are always so welcoming and professional. Would highly recommend this office. read more

We were referred by several people to Dr. Bijoor. We were told that laser was less invasive and painful than traditional clipping. First after examining we were told if we pay cash we got a deal to have both the upper and lower tongue tie for 1,000. (They bill the insurance more to try and get more). We were not allowed in the room and to this day I find it difficult to believe my husband and I let our 5 day old newborn go through that alone. Afterwards dr bijoor told us our daughters muscle was so strong and thick she didn't do a full release and referred us for craniosacral therapy to help (he stated she is known for not doing full release). We were given instructions for care and told to schedule a follow up visit. My husband and I both heard directions to massage both areas 1x daily to prevent re growth. We did so and returned for 2 follow up appointments. At the final appointment 4 weeks later (each appointment happens 1 week apart) dr bijo or told us it had all re grown back and she could do it again. She showed us the pictures from the original release (which again was only partial) but now they showed a full release. Not even our child's pictures! Let's say as new parents the correct instructions were given but we misunderstood...wouldn't the 2nd or 3rd follow up have shown we weren't doing something right? Wouldn't the dr ensure we were following her directions? Nope never said a word. This has been a horrible experience. She should be ashamed for being so insensitive to new parents and unnecessarily harming newborns. We had to get it done again and the ENT we went to said dr bijoor did a terrible job and the scarring made the tongue tie 2x worse. She said she sees this often that dentists try to earn extra money offering this service yet not really dedicating the proper time and resources to it. My daughter remained in my arms at the ENT and the follow up care was explained, written down and located on the website. Dr bjoor may be a good dentist, but she surely is not the person you should see to address tongue tie. I will never forgive myself for trusting her and allowing her to botch the procedure. I will never go back to this office. They are very rude. Also, all they care about is making money by selling you things that are completely unnecessary and not covered by insurance. My brother is a dentist and when I told him what they recommended, he said it was just a money making scheme. THe last time we went there, before my daughter even got in the chair, the dentist handed me this book and told me daughter needed some appliance in her mouth. She didn't even examine her first before recommending it!!! I would not recommend going here unless you have lots of money to throw away. read more

Renuka Rao is the worst dentist. She is very argumentative and will never listen to what we are asking but charges us for every second we spend there..Their laser treatment is a big scam... The staff is very mediocre. We were very annoyed and saddened for the way they treated our little boy. when we ask more, she will right away says on your face to go for a different doctor.. this is after visiting her 3 times and spending money and wasting time and caused immense pain to our little one.
