So dissatisfied with the service. They are liars when it comes down to pricing. I called before going in asking how much they would charge for manicure and pedicure with acrylic removal & they said if I did both it would be included into the $87 quoted. I did add hard gel when I got there but never in my entire life have I paid double the cost for it. It's always been a $10-$15 increase. Just like the girl asked if Callie was ok for $10 more he should've informed me it would've been double. To top it off the girl didn't notify me it would be a $2 charge to just use my card and when I noticed after all she said was "sorry". The service also was complete crap. The man fouled my fingers and then started filing them down, but the pieces were flying everywhere and it shot into my eyeball WITH ACETONE ON IT! Then bc my hands were with acetone too he tried getting it off with his bare finger. In the end when he was oiling my fingers he leaned over to put the oil back and it created a stain on my arm. He tried cleaning it with the hot towel but even when it dried the stain remained. I also was on my break for work so I literally had a whole stain during my shift which looked so unprofessional. I called bc I was so upset and the male manager was just rude about it, saying he was just going to talk to the guy but he truly didn't do what he could've have to make me happy and reimburse me for ruining my shirt, the pain endured, and let me add the pedicure was so basic for the price. Where I usually go I pay $65 for the deluxe package which includes 10 minute massage, cocktail of flowers and oranges in my pedi water, and a mask. Like what in the world makes you think your prices match your wack service. NEVER AGAIN COMING HERE. I WISH I COULD REPLY, but if the manager has the audacity to be rude I will re-edit. & make it even LONGER. Does he actually think 20% off will compensate for acetone in someone's eye along with damaging someone's shirt and not leave a yelp review? Cmon dude be professional. 20% is chump change. Don't go to this place. I used to go to this place as I liked how it looked outside, but they don't value you as a customer. For work of 40 minutes on me and 60 minutes on my girlfriend they charge 181$. I asked beforehand and the owner told me that it was 149$, he changed his mind and charged 181$.I brought up the complaint and dismissed me.I will never go back there again due to their dishonest and suspicious behavior. Told the manicurist to clean it up a bit more, also under nails but she refused. I mentioned then not do my nail color but she said she put the undercoat on already and this is before the top coat. I still refused to get color and they charged me for the full cost. Dennis the person who answers the phone is miserable with his job and does not enjoy it whatsoever. To the point where he goes out every 10/20 min to take a smoke of his cigarettes. Anyways I've been a customer for over 4 years and because half there staff is out of town (my fav nail people) and I had somebody else do my nails for me I believe her name was Annie. Anywho, she did not do a good job and I called to express my concerns that it did not last as long as it usually does. And every time somebody else other than my fav nail technicians does it, it never lasts. Dennis decided to tell me to go to a different nail salon instead, I said okay thank you. Went in around 10:05a on a Sunday. They told me to wait a moment and I would get sat in a pedicure chair. I waiting about 3 mins they sat me in a chair.... The water was nice and hot until I waited for about 40 mins to get the pedi started. I asked them to drain and re-refill the water because at that point it was very cold. As I am waiting for my pedicure to start an older man comes to start on my nails. I show him a picture of a pretty simply nail design...he immediately says he can't do it. I asked if maybe he could figure it out or ask around to figure out how to do it. He agrees however I am literally having to talk him through the process. He did a wonderful job cleaning my nails... but when it got to the painting part it wasn't very good. I had to keep asking him to paint my full nail as he was missing spots. Then he finished and my nails were nothing like the picture I showed. I accepted bc they turned out ok. However he left so much nail polish on my hands and around my fingers. Pictures included. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and quick to answer any questions you may have. This has been my go to spot for awhile now, and truly never disappoints for me. Been going to this salon for over a year for my acrylic fill-in, and I've always asked for Kenny or David. They are both great and patient with my requests. I usually do mid length with almond shape with single colored gel polish without any design. in & out about in 1.5hour for $45. Who can beat that. I come here about twice a month and I am always pleased with the service! Even when I do walk-ins without appointments, the longest I've ever waited is about 5 minutes, which is nothing really! Their color selection is endless- so many option that it's overwhelming at times. As far as pricing is, I always pay $30 for gel, but you get what you pay for. A very detailed and neat job! And my manicure usually lasts a two full weeks so I'm pretty satisfied and I do think it's worth it! I would highly recommend this nail salon for Glendale residents :) read more
