I tried this salon for the first time because it's close to my apartment, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. When I walked in, the salon was extremely hot, and it didn't seem like the air conditioning was on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had specifically booked my manicure appointment with Lee, but I have no idea who actually ended up doing my nails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I showed a photo of short oval nails as a reference for the shape I wanted, but the result looked nothing like the picture. The color selection was also very limited, so I chose a light blue shade. My gel pedicure turned out fine, but both my manicure and pedicure were done while I sat in the pedicure chair, which was very uncomfortable. While removing my old builder gel, they filed my nails without any ventilation. Dust was everywhere, and I was left breathing it in throughout the process. Once my nails were shaped, it became clear they were uneven, inconsistent, and not the shape I had requested. I'm not sure if the polish was old or diluted, but it applied very poorly. The finish was thick, chunky, uneven, and my cuticles were flooded with polish. To make matters worse, the manicurist acknowledged the poor result and told me she would not charge me for the manicure. However, when I went to pay, the woman at the front desk refused to honor that and charged me anyway. I literally have never experienced this horrible of a nail service in the 25 years of getting my nails done. Not only did I wait 20 minutes to get started after calling and making an appointment but the service from beginning to end was horrible. Just look at the picture of my nails I uploaded and you can see the poor quality of the polish stained on my nails and the color on my skin. It was so bad that I paid full price and walked out. Today, unfortunately, is disappointing. I came in for a simple mani/pedi. I am leaving a raggedy ass manicure, not because I didn't make clear my requests and inconsistencies, but because the more course correction needed-the less nail remained and attitudes from the staff heightened. I had to even what was left of my nails while seated in the chair. I have a photo shoot today of MY HANDS and I have to do them myself when I get home. Customer satisfaction without attitude needs improvement, especially when the client doesn't berate or insult the technician for the unpleasant service being provided. I have been coming here since it opened, but never again ! I came to get my acrylics that they placed last week removed since they all started chipping off. They did not even bother soaking them off, instead ripped them off. I could have ripped them off at home, I wanted to gently get them removed so my nails wouldn't be harmed, no the man did not care he just started to yank them off. I told him it was hurting and he just laughed to my face, then he drilled with the electric drill and burned my thumb to the pint I jumped back and screamed in pain and kept laughing.
