I have mixed feelings about this place. The PROS: It's a nice place, has a reasonable schedule, and prices are a bit higher than I see around town but they do a nice job. They also seem to have plenty of options and styles. The CONS: They pack so many stations you feel like a cow in a slaughter house. Also, while I understand it's typical in these places for workers to speak in their native language to eachother accross the room, it's not only unprofessional but also rude - especially when your client doesn't speak the language. YES, IT'S A GREAT NAIL LOUNGE! & MATILDA IS THE BEST! Amore was recommended to me by my sister as a place whose nail techs were gentle, not pushy, and accommodating. SHE WAS RIGHT! I've been going to Amore to get my nails done for about 1 year now, and I've always had a good experience. Everyone is really nice, the vibe is good, and it's super clean. If you want any sort of design, MATILDA is your girl. She's done my nails a couple times and never disappoints. Recently, she worked patiently for about 2 hours on my nails, and checked in on me throughout the whole process, making sure I was liking the design, shape, color, etc.. She never once rushed, which is very different than my experience at other places. I'll always remember this experience and her working so hard to make my nails beautiful and perfect because they were my engagement nails! This is not a salon that wants to do mid nails, take your money, and send you out the door. They genuinely care about their clients, always make you feel welcome, and are flexible with scheduling. Ani, who did my pedicure, listened carefully to exactly how I wanted my toes done and was incredibly accommodating. I was really happy with my technicians and the service! I'm allergic to acetone and have not been able to get gel - and have had bad luck with acrylic, so they suggested the Russian manicure, which is done dry (not wet) and my nails love it! I'll update once I go back, often that's where I've had difficulties in the past. I also got the dazzle dry on my toes - not sure what that means but they did dry quickly and I'm getting lots of compliments. The updated decor and cleanliness were definitely noticeable. I'm so happy to have found this spot! read more

I'm bummed out.. First time doing a Russian mani - I was really hopeful with all the yelp reviews and I paid $90 for the mani alone. I got this done LESS than 2 weeks ago for a wedding and the sides are already peeling and my hair is getting caught in them. I purposefully paid more for a Russian mani thinking it would last me longer than 2 weeks. Maybe it's a fluke...??? Environment is nice & fine but I'm not paying for the vibes, I'm paying for the results & I am disappointed. Also in the 2nd pic you can see that the tips are not the same (pinky tip especially). I know it's done by hand but it's all over the place and thankfully it's thin enough that I just try not to really look at it. I was really excited at first but my friend who gets Russian manis often told me this is NOT the standard. We specialize in nail care, from a simple manicure and pedicure to Russian Manicures. We use hypoallergenic products to lessen the possibility of an allergic reaction. Nail gels and polishes are formulated with a unique blend resiss of pigment. We use products free from harmful chemicals, such as formaldehyde and toluene. Amore nail lounge opened in January of 2016. In September of 2023, Tania became the new owner of Amore Nail Lounge. Tania had a vision for Amore Nail Lounge, her vision was to make a lounge where people can feel at home, entering a clean and happy environment, instead of any ordinary nail salon. She executed her vision impeccably and created a more improved Amore Nail Lounge. she improved the equipment that they use, remodeled the entire salon from the ceilings to the floors, implemented better cleaning procedures, and created a warm and inviting environment for her clients.

Milena is an absolute gem, and I honestly don't think I can go anywhere else for my pedicure at this point. As a new mom, this little break is basically my version of a spa retreat. Needless to say, only Milena does my pedicure. Her work is flawless, and she takes such incredible care with every detail. Now, let's talk about my Russian manicure - I've had a few different techs do it here, and they've all been great, but today Elya took it to a whole new level. This woman is a perfectionist in the best way possible. She hunted down the exact color I wanted (Ballet Pink, which is perfect for spring and Easter, btw), even brought out a fresh bottle from the back, and made sure it was just right. My nails look like they've been kissed by a nail god. Seriously, love the shape and color. And let me just give a quick shout-out to the cleanliness of this place - every time I walk in, I swear I see someone vacuuming, wiping down chairs, or disinfecting something. I was referred to by my best friend because she loves Rose and Tiffany! Unfortunately they were both booked and I was scheduled with a male manicurist named Tran. He used the same towel to clean my cuticles and nail clippings to clean my hands and I literally was saying "ew" in my head throughout the whole time. Personally I don't find that clean...like at all. I don't care if it's my own cuticles I don't want them on my wrists and my knuckles. Overall he did a pretty solid job. He was particular with the bubbles that would form on my nails after I would take them out of the UV light nail oven thing so I liked that for sureeeee. So yes my nails look 7/10 as the end result but I just can't get myself to come back. I also can't help but to add this one thing that made me really uncomfortable and definitely not as relaxed as I should be at a nail salon. Towards the end of my appointment it was approaching the technician's lunch time which is normal since it was 1 o'clock. Out of no where the nail salon went from smelling like acetone to a fish market. Like a huge bubble of salmon exploded in that place. Not ok. They quickly realized that their customers got uneasy and started to turn blue cause they weren't breathing so they opened the door and let it air out (didn't work but they tried) 5/10 experience Would I come back? Amore nail lounge is one of the cleanest nail salons ever! Rose does my nails and she's amazing. She always has time to take me in any time I want to go in. She does a perfect job on my nails and never messes anything up. She's a perfectionist and does a wonderful job. She's the greatest nail technician ever and Everyone in the area loves her work. she does acrylics amazing as well as gel. Updated review - Amore is under new management/ownership and Tania the new owner is AMAZINGGGGGG!!!! She has remodeled this place to look absolutely stunning, her customer service is wonderful, and the quality of the nail techs is fantastic. Rose still works here and she is still perfect and the queen of acrylics. But Milena is also great! they now offer Russian manicures and milena's attention to detail is so impressive. I have been coming to this nail salon for almost 10 years. there was a change of Ownership about a year and half ago and the new owner has done a wonderful job of improving the salon and services. I have been getting Russian manicures for about 7 months now and my nails have never looked better! Sona is my go to and she gives so much attention to detail and really does an amazing job. She takes her time. I am very picky about my nails and she never leaves me nit picking imperfections. My hard gel Russian manicures last about 3 weeks, and I am a busy mama and bartender so that says a lot! I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, and not only did the service take an unusually long time, but the technician was extremely rough with my cuticles. Despite telling her that she was hurting me, she continued, leaving my cuticles bleeding. They also used a wooden stick to push back my cuticles, which was done too aggressively. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, and I'm very concerned about hygiene and proper technique.
