Such an amazing and wholesome experience. Being a North Indian , I always enjoy some good Rajasthani meal. We went here last night, Bikanos and Bikaner Sweet is owned by same person but their menu and kitchen is different as Bikaner sweets is vegetarian only and Bikanos is not. But you can order from Bikaner sweets and sit at Bikanos to enjoy your meal. Coming to the food part, we had Pani puri (9/10) , Raj Kachori (8/10), Onion Kachori (10/10) , Chole bhature (8/10) , Malai Kofta (10/10), Kulcha (2/10) very hard , Garlic Naan (6/10) , Aloo Bedmi (7/10), Gatte ki sabji (1/10) not good at all! , Jalebi (1000/10) soo fresh and crispy!!! I'm definitely coming back for the Kachori and Jalebi :)

This is an interesting place but since I'm no expert in Indian food, take my writing as a grain of salt. This Indian restaurant is very simple in interior decorations (barely a few tables, no pictures on walls, limited lighting options), but it has a bar. Not a lot of people eating inside when we came visit on Saturday 7pm. The menu consists mostly common Indian dishes such as biryani, tikka, butter chicken and a few varieties of naan bread. It's just quiet and not busy at all. Only one man was manning the area, at times the restaurant would be empty with nobody there as the waiter went inside to carry out take out, makes me wonder what happens if a robbery happens right then..... Onto the food. Ordered lamb chop and chicken biryani. I mostly got attracted to Indian food because of the long grain rice but the spiciness got me every single time! Really miss the Indian buffet I tried somewhere that had non spicy Indian dishes and they were so tasty and different, yet they seem to be unavailable in most Indian a la carte menu. So the spiciness here got me again. The lamb chop was spicy, so is the chicken biryani. The spiciness grows on you, first bite is a little bit spicy, bearable; second bite, ok, it's there; by the third bite, how does it get so spicy?! It seems the hotness builds up in time and even dipping them in yogurt doesn't help. The same goes for the biryani! Also one thing to note on the chicken biryani. The picture on the menu shows a big size chicken drum stick sticking out from a bowl of rice. In reality, the chicken with bones were chopped and buried inside the rice. So the picture was a bit misleading.... The restaurant is not big, but there's a short walk that connects it to an Indian sweet shop at the back and that place seemed to be a lot more popular and authentic. The owner is the same man and he seemed to be nice and on top of his game.

Good food selection on menu. Good and prompt service. Casual ambiance Lots of parking and other shoppes in walking distance

Posted prices are NOT what they actually charge you!

This places rips off their customers! Bought some sides to take out and all the prices were higher than what is posted on their menu! And what you get is super small...$5 for a small piece of garlic naan? I'll never go back...this place is a ripoff!

Unbelievably good food! The flavors were divine and they do take your instructions to make food spicy or mild depending on your palette. As chutney is something that barely people try outside and even if they do it disappoints to the core but in Bikanos I highly recommend all the three chutneys that they served with complimentary Papad. Overall we had a great experience. Tokri Chaat can be improvised as I think it had too much of bolied potato with no/less spices and it lacked yogurt. It is a new place so I recommend you to be patient with the service but hoping that gets improved soon. We also had Ghevar for dessert which was totally outstanding. I haven't had Ghevar in a long time and it just amazed me.

Never found it open during open hours. They always ask you to their adjacent fast food place. A kind of trap.

Seems like they post their weekly menus on their website, so you can kind of get a sense of what type of meals you might get. So if you're looking to get a better sense of what may be in your 'bag', then I recommend looking there first! Pickup was quick. Someone noticed me standing by the door and after letting them know I was there to pick up a Too Good to Go order, he got my boxes really quickly. The meal I ended up getting was a turkley bolognese pasta with some steamed broccoli. Very simplistic dish that tasty alright. For this specific meal, I'm not sure I would so inclined to pay full price for the meal prep since it is cheaper and very easy to make this at home. That said, I can see the appeal for those who are just too busy overall and want fast, healthy meals without having to cook. Overall, glad to have tried another local establishment. Would recommend trying this on 2G2G first if you're not sure you'll like the food.

Having someone to do menu planning and grocery shopping was a huge time saver and ensured that we had home-cooked meals to eat rather than falling back to ordering takeout every night. Johanna provided a wide variety in her meals. Most menus came directly from her, but sometimes I would request certain types of food or specific dishes she had made in the past that were our favorites. Johanna tailored her menus to meet my dietary restrictions (low saturated fat). She always left the kitchen clean with clear instructions for the meals and even some cooking tips along the way! My (now) husband is a severe Celiac and so making sure all food is completely Gluten-free was the number one concern. The Chef was quick to respond and so helpful in brainstorming a potential menu for the event (we settled on Mexican). She then got started on putting together the recipes and gathering the proposed ingredient list. This is where the Chef went above and beyond for us-she sent us the full recipes and proposed ingredients(down to the specific brands) so that we could ensure that everything was free from gluten and free from cross-contamination (a shocking amount of spices are processed on the same equipment as wheat). She even was able to find a way to make gluten free Tres Leches and Tiramisu (our favorites). For our wedding cakes! Menu: Crudités with Green Goddess Dip Queso Fundido with Chorizo Pico de Gallo Chopped Salad Chili Verde Stew Slow Cooked Barbocoa Tacos Roasted Zucchini Sweet Bell Pepper Rice Spicy Citrus Black Beans Tres Leches with strawberries Tiramisu Preparation: The chef packaged up all of our food so that my sister could pick it up and transport it (our venue was 4 hours north of the bay). She provided detailed instructions for reheating the food and prepping the cakes. She even made sure we would have any additional utensils that would be necessary. She gave me an accurate and in-depth invoice that broke down the expenses and made it easy to work into our wedding budget. Food: WOW WOW WOW! The best part (obviously) was the food! Everything was fresh and vibrant and so so delicious! The Queso provided the best cheese pull I have ever seen and my husband and I are still drooling over that Tres Leches and my family keeps bringing up how incredible the dinner was! Additionally my husband was able to freely eat everything to his hearts content, confident that he wouldn't become ill on our special day. I cannot recommend Chef Johanna enough!!
