Garlic naan was soggy and chewy. Not sure which dish was the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala as they were not labeled. Both were very tomato forward, and one was a little too acidic. Got mild for both, but neither of them seemed mild. The saag paneer tasted very sour, which I have never had with any other saag paneer I've tasted. Website said ready in 10 minutes but it was more like a 20+ minute wait. They had 3 or more to go orders ready for pickup. We came here looking for Indian food on a Saturday night and seeing how highly rated this place was. Surprisingly, we found the place completely empty when we walked on for a Saturday dinner (7pm)!! The employee did not seem to really care that we walked in(?) and I was not able to grab their attention until I walked up to them even though we were the only customers in there. The meat was tender and there was a ton of flavor. Butter chicken was tomatoey but still tasty. The chicken wasn't dry even though it was breast meat. Palak paneer I was neutral about. This is very beginner friendly Indian food. The flavors are all there, but the spiciness of the curries is very mild, like a mild seafood boil rather than a medium. The Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken were both fantastic with the garlic naan. Although, I did order Lamb Korma, but was given chicken. The samosas were big that paired well with the tamarind and mint chutney. The goat biryani was good with the yogurt sauce and I would say it packed the most heat out of all the dishes we got. The goat is super tender, however, watch out for some bones that got separated from the meat. Staff was friendly during pick up and inside was spacious. The place was fairly empty and lots of vacant parking spots right outside this corner restaurant, I preferred their outdoor seating more than the indoor one. Came here for a lunch buffet so I could eat as much butter chicken as I wanted. It's a varied but simple selection of buffet items featuring many typical Indian staples. The only thing not pictured is the Naan, which they will bring to your table when you are seated. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine, but I tasted most of the items and they all were along the lines of my expectations. I liked the Butter Chicken and Lamb Curry a lot. The Chicken Biryani was pretty satisfying too. Apparently, there's been a recent change in management, and the food tastes a little different than it used to be (supposedly saltier according to the person who brought me here) but this was my first time visiting and I thought the food was fine for a simple lunch buffet. We've been ordering from here for over 5 years now. They changed ownership somewhat recently and it's mostly still the same. Food is still great (we mostly order curries) and haven't really noticed a drop off in quality, maybe a slight one. Their butter chicken is excellent (as someone who loves butter chicken). We've never dined in (always pickup) and the interior is a bit dated and the tables are pretty basic, but I'd imagine most of their business is takeout orders. Staff is always friendly and attentive when picking up as well. They often have deals or discounts too. Regularly you can get a discount on DoorDash or their site ordering system. Indian lunch buffet! This place is so good and it's $17/person for the lunch buffet. Our family favorites are butter chicken and palak paneer, but being able to try different things is so fun! The goat curry is really good! It has a little game-yness to it and you have to pick out some bones periodically but the flavor is great. Today they also had a malai kofta, veggies, daal, chana... so many yummies. The chana was the only thing I didn't love the flavor of but that's ok! Their hot, fresh naan that gets brought out is fluffy and amazing! I'm usually not one to go for the fried veg (pakora) but the cauliflower was really yummy!! I also love the free chai tea and desserts! The gulub jamun is usually a little too sweet for me to finish a while one but it was warm, syrupy deliciousness for the bites I had! As a Punjabi that just moved to NorCal, I put my stamp of approval on this spot! My brother and I got food from here as a celebratory dinner for my move and I am glad we got this! Everything was true to the flavors that I'm used to. We got the malai kofta, navratan korma, tadka daal as the main dishes that all come with jeera rice (cumin rice). I also got garlic naan and raita (yogurt). Each dish was full of authentic flavor! Highly recommend. I know the raita said 4oz but I was still surprised how little the container was. Either way, it was still good. It was both sweet and savory but a little too loose, consistency wise than I would have preferred. There was SO much garlic on that garlic naan, it was heavenly! Little India Cafe always hits the spot! Their palak paneer, butter chicken and garlic Naan are my go to dishes. The palak paneer and butter chicken are very creamy and flavorful. The garlic Naan is crispy on the edges and soft on the inside. It's not completely drenched in garlic so it a adds a nice flavoring while dipping the palak paneer and butter chicken. I do feel like you get more bang for your buck with their lunch buffet versus ordering a la carte during dinner. Don't forget to try their gulub jamun. The tandoori chicken tikka had a huge portion, with 10+ chunks of huge chicken. The meat was quite chewy but not tender enough. The seasoning was way too sweet for me. The gobi paratha was not as good as the paneer paratha. With the paneer filling replaced by cauliflower, the paratha's texture fell apart and felt quite soggy. read more

Came here with kids for lunch buffet. They included goat curry - which is one of my favorites. Casual Ambiance. Food wasn't spicy. Absolutely loved that they served fresh naan quite promptly at the table. Most other buffet restaurants make you wait 10-15mins before serving naan. Plan to be back again. read more

I used to be a regular at this place, almost once every week. So much so that the waiters, owner and everyone knew us and we knew them. The food used to be amazing. I took my friends who were visiting from India here once, and they were also amazed by the taste, the food used to be that good. The previous owner himself used to cook in the kitchen at times, and it's understandable that with him gone the food quality has gone down too. Unfortunately, the management has changed and the food, service, attitude of new owner has gone completely downhill. I went once for a buffet, and asked if they had garlic naan in the buffet (I was OK with paying extra). But the owner was condescending and started talking about how expensive garlic is and it can't be had at this price. I am sure a half clove of garlic that goes on a naan would have beaten his bank account, but it's the attitude in which he reacted which took me by surprise.
