Got the butter chicken, tikka masala, garlic nan, and they were all decent. Service was basically nonexistent although we were the only customers in the restaurant. Literally had to go up to the kitchen to ask if we can order and pay multiple times, so was shook when after payment I was prompted for tip.

My go to spot for indian food, always great portions and flavor. If you're vegetarian like myself, there are many options. There's a lot seating and usually isn't busy. I get the vegetarian biryani which includes two sauces you can put on it. One is similar to yogurt and the other tastes kind of like chana masala. I've also tried their delicious tikka masala and it pairs nicely with the mango lassi.

my new favorite biryani spot! i love their vijayawada biryani, medium spice is perfect for me. the food takes a while to come out because it's freshly cooked and PIPING hot! the interior of the restaurant is clean and bright, and service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. it's quite empty for weekend lunches, so i definitely recommend coming in then. love this place!

Delicious food. Got the chicken biryani, the serving is enough for 2 people. And the masala dosa, which is nice a crispy with real potatoes. Good Service. They were quick. And the food tasted amazing. Nice Atmosphere. Plenty of indoor seating. I think they were a bit understaffed because the bathroom had an odd smell, might need to be cleaned at least 3x a day. Or have a sink outside of the bathroom area for us to wash our hand.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed Indian Tadka yet! My husband, a true biryani addict, has been searching for "the one" ever since COVID shut down his go-to spot at the Belmont Sports Complex. After countless biryani disappointments, he's finally found his match here--and it's conveniently right next to his favorite market, Hankook. Here's our routine: we drive 30 minutes (yes, just for Hankook), he orders the biryani, we shop for 30-45 minutes, and pick up our food as we're leaving. Timing perfection! Quick tip: they don't open for dinner until 5:30 p.m. Today, we arrived at 4:30 p.m., finished shopping by 5:15 p.m., and ended up waiting in the car until they opened. Totally worth it, though--the biryani was demolished as soon as we got home. No pics this time, but I'm sure we'll be back for more soon!

    Garlic Naan, Rice, Butter Chicken

We ordered samosas, butter chicken, rice and one piece of garlic naan which came out to be about $30. Pricey, especially since rice does not come with the entrees. Samosas were standard and tasted like how you expect them to, good! We asked for the butter chicken to be made medium spicy but there was no spice at all. It didn't have a pronounced flavor, the flavor was there but very light. I also wasn't a big fan of the chicken pieces, it was tender but I felt like it was sitting in the curry for too long that it almost got the way chicken gets when it's almost overcooked, however it wasn't dry because I think they use chicken thighs in this. I just wasn't a fan but my friend didn't have an issue with it. The rice was standard, as expected. The garlic naan is flaky, had fresh garlic pieces on top and was hot out the oven, we enjoyed this. Service was great, it does get crowded later in the evening but when it's empty it's really quiet and everyone can hear your conversations. I'd give it a 2/5 because of the high prices but the food was edible so I'll give it a 3. Unfortunately will not be coming back since I've had better and for less $$.

Good Indian food for a quick dinner stop. Have tried them multiple times. Quality has been consistent with fresh ingredients. Kids like the Manchurian and chowmein. You need to let them know if you want mild food else the spice level is high. They were running some offers earlier on DoorDash which were good and quality was maintained.

This was an amazing meal! Came in around noon on a Friday and was seated right away. Spacious restaurant with many tables available. We ordered the chicken 65, butter chicken, rice, garlic naan, mango lassi and one other chicken dish the waiter recommended but I forgot the name. The food was delicious! Butter chicken was creamy. The chicken 65 was flavorful. Garlic naan was great as well. The mango lassi was very good not too sweet and it paired well with the food. If I am back in the area, I would definitely come revisit this restaurant.

Whats the price and timing for weekday lunch buffet?

Do you have a lunch buffet?

    No only menu items

Are there nuts (tree nuts or peanuts) in any of their diahes? Which ones?

I believe the creamy dishes do have them (shahi paneer or paneer makhani) and briyanis

Do you have a lunch menu? Someone in their review mentioned a two item special but I don't see it. Thank you

I've driven all the way from Tracy twice just for this biryani, the perfectly caramelized onions, and a warm cup of chai. I'm absolutely obsessed.

We came on Saturday evening and they had just run out of biryani which made me SO sad but it's a good reason to come back! It's spacious with plenty of seating so would be great for bigger parties too. My bf has a nut allergy so we could only order the andhra chicken curry and the goat curry (which are the same, btw just different meats.) The flavor was truly flavor-ing, and it had just the right amount of kick. I loved the spiciness!! Only note, there were quite a bit of bones in both entrees and I'm taking off a star for this. In the chicken especially, it seemed there were more bones than actual meat which was sad because the chicken was SUPER tasty. Tender and juicy and held the curry just perfect. The naan was also delicious as I prefer a thinner, flakier naan and they delivered! Also you MUST get the mango lassi here, they didn't skimp on the mango and it's the perfect reprieve from the spicy meal Will definitely be back to try their biryanis.

At first I thought that tiffin will be enough for us but then my kids quickly gobbled the idli and mini dosa and wanted more. So I ordered another plate of only idlis( has 3 big soft fluffy ones) and also took advantage of the happy hour to order a masala dosa for me. I am not the kind of mom who eats kids leftovers all the time. So I wanted my own dosa. For drinks, I did a medium strong filter coffee ( they make it to your customization and I was surprised to see they even had jaggery). My 9 year old took a mango lassi. Food was incredibly satisfying. Servers are very attentive and they came three times to our table offering more chutney and sambhar. We already had enough but if you like more sambhar and chutney with your food, this is heaven. One server even came with ghee for my little ones for idlis. I was so grateful. He was genuinely sweet to my kid. Felt a connection than just a business! Ambiance is classy and relaxed at the same time. Nobody gave me the side eye when my three year old was a little noisy. Have a corner for takeout containers for leftover food, very generous. I would highly recommend this place for its delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. They have happy hour daily from 3-6 pm and when we went at 5.30, the restaurant was more than 70% full on a Thursday. Eat early and save money too. We really had a very good time! PS- when you pay the bill ( you have to order and pay the bill before you eat at a room next to the dining area), do enter your phone number at the end and enroll in the loyalty program. Saratoga by far has the better ambience. Also cannot do take out for dosas. Excellent filter coffee and good paratha/kurma (though very oily so ask for no oil on paratha if health conscious). Service overall is very good, nice people. Have stopped coming here for the food. Our go to South Indian place is Ullavacharu tiffins, by far all excellent flavorful items.
