Owner is very sarcastic and rude and unprofessional he likes to interrupt you when you try to talk to him on the phone, matter of fact he text me at first and said we have to contact the manufacturer about your rear Axle. I never got a call for an estimate also they just started to fix the bike and said the rear axle had internal problems in the three-speed gearing. Nothing but complaints on Yelp over this shit hole bike shop. Never had a owner send me a text he should be calling customers on the phone so finally I called back and talked to him that's when he started interrupting me when I was trying to talk very belligerent and very rude. I would not recommend this shit hole bike shop to anyone nothing but complaints about this place. Then I'm checking the bike out and looking at the rear tire and it's not even straight my God Beavis and Butthead here can't even put a rear tire straight it's on an angle so now I have to recheck everything and fix it myself. If the company is called Exhale.... they might want to probably inhale more crack..lol

All three needed a full tune up, a few new inner tubes, and brake adjustments. I thought to google mobile bike mechanics, and found Gears to You. I followed website instructions, sent a text to Daryl with requested information, and got a detailed response within the hour. The price to get the three bikes was competitive, even when noting an additional travel charge. We got an appointment booked and Daryl was at my house a few days later. He was on time, professional, and respectful. He had all the equipment he needed to tune up and fix the bikes and we were up and running within a few hours. I was thoroughly impressed at how easy and efficient the whole process was and would highly recommend Daryl's services! Will for sure be using again when bike maintenance needs arise!

We stopped to investigate. You donate a bike, they refurb it. Proceeds from used bike sales are donated to Barrow Neurologic Hospital. The owner's son died from brain cancer. Barrow treated him. The owner is paying back by healing old bicycles and donating the profit.. They also have a full showroom of fine electric and pedal powered bicycles at standard pricing. Plus excellent repair and service staff. Mr. G wanted a bike with a wide, comfortable seat. Sit and Chat Dave advised him to pick a bike short enough to not injure his groin areas when putting both feet on the pavement. We found a One Speed coaster brake cruiser, semi-fat tires. Simple to ride and repair. Wide, supportive seat. Built for comfort. Nearly new, brand new rear tire. $125.00. We pick it up tomorrow ar 10 am.

The other services i asked for were not done, and the new rim was scratched up from dragging on the ground. I came back and asked for a refund and was told that they cannot do this without the boss and he wasnt in. Fast forward 1 week and i have been forgotton about. I brought my wheel to 2 different shops to get a quote to fix and was told that i am not the only one that is bringing rework from this shop.... I am going to charge back this sleaze.

I was charged $60 for a single solid tire, which is far worse, as explained by YOUR check-in rep. You took advantage of my pre-approval to order the most expensive tire approved. I ordered a tubeless tire FROM THE OEM for $35 including delivery, see image. So now I need to spend $50 for Archer to install a crappy $60 tire plus $35 for the correct tire and another $50 to have someone other than Archer replace the brand-fing-new tire that I didn't want. Minus a star for a misleading statement.

The company is seeking backed rent in the amount of $55,000!!!! Thats right, fifty five thousand dollars in backed rent! Shortly after the company got wind of both of these lawsuits they decided to file for bankruptcy which puts everything on hold or dismisses any court proceedings unless you join the bankruptcy which if timing allows i will do so. but let's not forget the most important thing here. The most important thing to remember is they're working with the customer to resolvele the issue. Resolving it for who? Yeah, them of course! Im still tapping my foot awaiting a relsolution that does not put me in a negative because of their dishonesty, boilerplate excuses, overcharging and threats etc. i knew something was drastically wrong with this company when i witnessed employees (and i have it on video recording as well) lying to the police, and lying to me to prevent me from moving forward with the judicial process. When something like that occurs there's no telling what somebody or a company will do next because they feel they can operate outside of the law, have one sided contracts and and not be held accountable for it; and when somebody tries to hold them accountable they run to avoid it with bankruptcy. if I'm not able to join the bankruptcy due to statute of limitation issues, then watching this business close it's doors is certainly good enough for me **this update covers a timespan from 4/2026 through 7/2026.

They'll openly chat about what I can fix on my own and what I need them to handle for me. Their labor costs are the lowest I have found in Scottsdale, and I genuinely enjoy chatting for a few minutes with the service team when I have a chance to pop in to get some work done or see if they can find a part for me. What started out as a Google search to rent a quality and fun mountain bike, at an affordable /fair price, lead us to Scottsdale Bike Company. Quick call on the drive from California confirmed they had what we needed. Upon arrival they noted we were stacking the bikes in the back of our suv, and one of the guys offered his personal hitch rack to ease our load and set it up for us. After a fun hour at the Mesa bike park, we had my gfs son's personal bike break. After fiddling and realizing the severity we quickly ran back to SBC just before closing. The guys got right to work without much more than a question to see if they could get us back on the road before we left the shop. I rented a Large MTB and they offered to swap us out for a bike more fitting for the 12 year old. I said thanks, we'll take it. They then insisted I didn't miss out and sent us on our way with another bike rental. A beautiful amazing and quality full suspension MTB. They inspected each unit thoroughly. Noting one had some damage, and despite them being able to send us with it, they did not. They ensured they sent us on the trails with a solid well looked after unit. As we came back to return the next day, and pick up the bike. They did everything they could to get us running, but it being a 10 year old model (They didn't have parts on hand) they offered to help but would take time to get parts, we're just in town for a short while. When I asked what we owed them for inspecting and trying to fix it, they declined our payment outside of the rentals. True gentleman, incredibly kind, generous with their time and resources. I'd pay every penny to them for parts, service, even a purchase. Whether visiting, or a local, take a minute to give them a chance to have your business! You won't regret it. As honest as they come.

Taking your bikes in to the shop is for suckers. Chris just left my house and was done with a break adjustment on my wife's bike within 15 min. When I came out to pay him, I asked if he had time to adjust the breaks on my bike as well just to make sure they were good and he responded, "already did it." Wow!!! Can't say enough great things about this guy. Will keep him on my regular list of repair guys for the future and to refer to my friends. read more

Rogue sells you a high-priced bike, pockets your money, and takes no responsibility when things go bad. I paid $1,500 for a new Velotric Fold1 in late 2025. By Spring 2026, the battery (with a full charge) would go only 2 to 3 miles, then completely die. After cooperating with Velotric's warranty department to troubleshoot, they concluded what was obvious: it needs a new battery. Only after several weeks of back and forth troubleshooting did they inform me they have no batteries in stock and it would be another 2 months until they had any. They provided no compensation of any kind for the major disruption, nor did Rogue Electric Cyclery. Both Velotric and Rogue Electric Cyclery continue to sell new very expensive Fold 1 bikes that come with new batteries. However, neither Velotric nor Rogue is willing to provide one of those batteries to cover a customer's legitimate warranty issue. I am still waiting for a new battery covered under warranty.

Then I'm checking the bike out and looking at the rear tire and it's not even straight my God Beavis and Butthead here can't even put a rear tire straight it's on an angle so now I have to recheck everything and fix it myself. All three needed a full tune up, a few new inner tubes, and brake adjustments. I thought to google mobile bike mechanics, and found Gears to You. I followed website instructions, sent a text to Daryl with requested information, and got a detailed response within the hour. The price to get the three bikes was competitive, even when noting an additional travel charge. We got an appointment booked and Daryl was at my house a few days later. He was on time, professional, and respectful. He had all the equipment he needed to tune up and fix the bikes and we were up and running within a few hours. I was thoroughly impressed at how easy and efficient the whole process was and would highly recommend Daryl's services! Will for sure be using again when bike maintenance needs arise!
