come here if you want to get ripped off, you can get the same bikes online for of dollars less we spent almost 5 grand on two bikes there and then they can't even return the basket that I got for one of the because it doesn't I'm not going to scratch up the bike that I just got. They'll just do a store credit, which is bullshit after just spending that much and receipt that they forgot to give me, very unprofessional. 1st time bringing my Electra Beach Cruiser bike here. Terry was super helpful when I dropped it off and even more helpful at Pick-up! My chain had broken, I needed new handle foams and a full gear tune-up. My bike was in pristine condition at pickup! I needed to get my grandson's bike ready for his first-ever bike ride. It was missing a few parts and needed training wheels. I had no idea where to turn and chose Freeride based on online reviews. What a great choice! Brian figured out the problems and what parts were needed, and tried 3 different sets of training wheels before finding a set that fit properly. The look on my grandson's face as he rode his bike the first time was priceless, and I wished Brian had been there to see the fruits of his labor. As luck would have it my bike broke two days later. I took it right in to Brian, who was able to get me back on the road in no time. Both times I was in the shop it was packed with customers. (It reminded me of some little hole-in-the-wall diner that is always crowded.) Brian and the staff there made time for each customer, who ranged from young kids to senior citizens. The store is packed with bikes and accessories, but for me the repair section had my full attention. Repair costs were very fair and reasonable. This store is the epitome of small business. BEST BIKE shop in Gilbert and probably Arizona. These guys are awesome. The owner is straightforward, honest and super fun to talk to. The service prices are more than reasonable. We've been to all the bike shops in the area and this one is by far the best. Work has been done same day on many occasions. Griffin is the man, he worked on my wife's bike and cleaned it without us even asking. We had no clue what was wrong. He looked at it, fixed it and had us out in about 15 minutes (with a new cassette, chain, and seat bracket). Took my son's bike in last week, they fixed the chain, replaced the tire and made recommendations based on his riding type. They care about their work and it show. I hope I'm not getting him in trouble with that, but he also noticed our pads were still good just needed some sanding saving us about $50! We are snowbirds and brought our E bike down here to Arizona. We found Freeride Bike and took our E bike there to get a front tire flat fixed. in speaking with Brian the owner we were so pleased that he was allowing us to get it fixed on the spot and only had to wait a short period of time even though they were extremely busy he fit us in immediately fast-forward three weeks now we have a flat tire on the back, which is a little more complicated and again Brian was completely helpful in getting our bike fixed probably faster than any other bike shop could've done it. We really love the fact that he is a solid businessman still does business with a handshake and true to his word. We can't thank him enough for helping us and recommend him highly to anybody looking for a new bike or any kind of repair. I highly recommend this business. I bought an ebike off OfferUp for my son for Christmas it didn't come with a charger. Bought one on Amazon and it wouldn't charge the battery. So I went to Freeride Bike to buy one. I had just paid rent and recovering from Christmas I didn't have the amount a good charger cost at the moment. Told my son it's gonna have to wait till Friday when I get paid son. He took it like a champ ok dad. Handed it back to the owner. He said, "you wanna take it and bring the money when you get paid so the kid could ride it?" I was like really? Yeah, that would be awesome if you are okay with it, He pinned the receipt to the wall and said, yeah that's fine. Looked at my son and said what do you say? He said thank you. Of course I came back on Friday and paid the gentleman. To make a long story longer it touched my heart and gave me hope for the world we live in. He knew my boy was gonna go home and stare at his bike that he only got to ride till the battery died until Friday and he acted in kindness. With a risk of not getting paid. Friggen awesome local bike shop! I reached out to Freeride via Yelp for some insight on what was going on with my bike. The owner said to bring it in to take a look. We went on Saturday afternoon, and they asked me if it was ok that we wait 10-15 min...OF COURSE! The gentleman that replaced my tube always asked for my consent, before choosing the tube, if he could do the work, if the price was ok. I really appreciated that. I rode my bike in the parking lot afterward, and it felt like a brand new bike! Solid group of guys working that day - everyone was very friendly. They have a huge variety of bikes, accessories, and they do service! I love supporting local, so I'm glad we found Freeride. We'll be using them for all of our bicycle needs from now on. read more

Was originally told it would be 2 days to fix my flat tire on my scooter, after being told that it's a "pain in the ass" to fix them. I called in after the 2 days and they said it was next in line. I waited 4 more days and called to find out it was done. If something is going to take longer than the quoted timeframe communicate that to the customer that you're charging $96 to. They were recommended by another local shop for assembling a recumbent trike shipped from TN to AZ via Bike Flights. Griffin immediately understood my needs, quoted a price and the deal was done. Assembly was perfect, even adding needed accessories with no charge. The trike is a monster not amenable to any usual bike carrier. They delivered to the recipients home and made adjustments for his comfort. The only bad thing is they are 1,600 miles from me. Yea! They have a whole new squad of employees running the show here, which is just what I have been waiting for. I have always loved this place, and purchased four bikes from here over the years. Unfortunately my last experience here about a year ago fell short of the high expectations I had developed over time. What can you do, sometimes it's just hard to find a few good employees. The owner handled that issue though, and they are back to having a full crew of highly knowledgeable and dedicated staff. They have also upped their game with high end Trek's, Fuji's and a complete assortment of electric bikes. These guys here are fantastic. I came in about twenty minutes before they closed with my cruiser. I've been having horrible luck with the tubes (partially due to the fact that the bike is my every day mode of transportation to work and back in the neighborhood) and the fact that the tires are a large size that are hard to find.
