We bought a Groupon and got facials and massages. Both treatments were good. We got lucky and had the place to ourselves so enjoyed the facilities. The steam room, room to relax and snacks they provided were great. My only complaint is the pool. I was excited at first because it looked cute but soon there were teens in the pool and people acting like it was the community pool at a park. I honestly think people paid one day pass and then let 7 others in for the day. I think you might want to consider wrist bands. I know this isn't the spas fault but someone needs to be in charge of it. read more

I visited the spa on Saturday 09/29/18 and my locker was broken into and my credit cards were stolen. I have been here several times before for a massage without any issues. On this particular visit I went in for my massage and came out an hour later. I unlocked my locker and couldn't find my phone. I searched my pockets, my shoes, and pulled everything out of the locker. I began to think maybe I mistakenly left it out before going in. I checked my wallet and my ID, debit, and two credit cards were gone. I went to report it to the spa front desk and they called security. Luckily one of the employees found my phone thrown in a laundry bin. Security asked me to follow them downstairs to make a report but first they asked me to settle my tab, which I obviously could not do because all of my credit/debit cards were stolen. Once I was in the security office my name and phone number were the only information requested and once again they informed me that I would have to come back to pay what I owed the spa. Since I didnt have any way of paying for my valet parking I asked the guard to comp the valet service and he reluctantly agreed. I got no apologies for the incident and I was told if I don't pay the $109 tab I will be banned. They even took a picture of me, which at the time I agreed to because I needed to get on the phone to start cancelling my cards. Went here to relax but instead wasted 5 hours of my day canceling credit cards and filing a police report for the $600+ that were charged to my stolen cards. Not to mention the time I will have to take off from work to go to the DMV to replace my license. If you visit this spa leave your valuables at home and don't expect them to treat you like a guest. read more

I came with a Groupon and it was mentioned by the employees about 4 times. I guess it served as a reminder for me and my expectations. The groupon was for a pedicure and a complimentary manicure. The manicure was decent. She took a very long time with it but she didn't oil my cuticles after cutting them nor did she massage my hands with lotion (which is usually in every manicure I've ever had). So my nail color is pretty but she didn't paint the entire nails... there is a bit of my nail peeping through close to my nail bed for nearly every nail so it looks like my nails have grown out a bit and because there's no lotion or cuticle oil after being cut, buffed, and acetoned, this does not look like a freshly done manicure. I'll post pics. The pedicure is by far the worst I've ever had. Again she works very slowly and gently. She didn't give time for my feet to soak so my cuticles, nails and feet are dry af, thanks to the acetone, and she's trying to cut them and buff and honestly I'm just annoyed af and I wanna leave. I'm literally writing this review as she's painting my nails. She spent 55 minutes buffing my nails basically because I had gel that needed to be removed. Ok listen I get pedicures because I get really bad ingrowns, the fact that my feet are made to look pretty is just an added bonus so when I explained to her that I wanted my ingrowns fixed she was genuinely confused. Language barrier I get it. But fixing an ingrown nail is such a basic thing for a manicurist to do and I'm baffled by the fact that even after explaining to her multiple times how to fix the ingrown bits she continued to just cut my cuticles and buff my nails down and asking me if my ingrowns were better. Holy shit dude I cannot believe she has never fixed an ingrown before like no honey, why would they feel better when you haven't even touched them, BUT FUCKIN WORST OF ALL IS THE FACT THAT SHE DIDNT EVEN SCRUB THE SOLES OF MY FEET, NO LOTION, NO MASSAGE like I am genuinely pissed right now. I was really looking forward to getting my ingrowns fixed because they hurt and I was so ready to start wearing sandals and show off my cute, soft feet. Again, no cuticle oil, she didn't even put cuticle softener before chopping away at my cuticles with the cuticle scissors. I'm honestly just so astounded by the lack of service and HOW LONG IT IS TAKING TO GET THIS OVER WITH. she asked me twice if she got my ingrown and I told her no she didn't. She asked me again after doing the exact same thing she did before and I'm so embarrassed at this point for having to explain to her again what she needs to do that I just told her it's fine. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was first told that they didn't have a manicurist and I would have to call back because they were interviewing people for the job. So I understood that the person doing my nails today would be new but I seriously did not expect this person to not know the basics of a mani/pedi. Anyway, if you just want literally painted nails but not pretty cuticles or scrubs or massage (which is ESSENTIAL) then I guess this is your place (even though I mentioned before how she left exposed nails so it looks like my nails have been growing out a bit). I don't even know what to say when I leave. This girl is painting my toes right now and the stool she has is so high that she has to kneel in order to reach my toes so I'm obviously not going to skip on her tip but honestly the thought of returning makes me laugh. I can't imagine having paid full price and receiving this service I would have disputed the cost with my bank. Seriously, no where on the groupon did it say I wouldn't receive the full treatment. I'm so annoyed. It's 2 hours later and now she's adding cuticle oil. Charming spa nestled in the city of Bell Gardens is an unexpected relaxation haven! I arrived early and Estela greeted me as she was setting up for the day, she was warm and welcoming and I felt completely comfortable in her presence. After I signed in and filled out the standard questionnaire she gave me a tour of the facility. Now I will say the spa is not very big at all, but what they lack in space they make up for in service and amenities. They have everything you need and the space is well laid out. I had a maternity massage booked and was given a wonderful massage by Eden, she was very professional and sweet. She knew what she was doing and it was a wonderful massage! This spa is a pretty little gem! I went on a weekday which is a plus, because basically you have the amenities to yourself. My friend and I book a massage at 6:00 pm for her & 7:00 pm for mine. From 5:30 till 6:45 I enjoyed the quiet room which has recliner seats you get to enjoy some water. Coffee pot was not connected so no warm water for tea. They also have fruit which I thought were cut into pieces.( No they are whole). My massage was great with Linda, not sure if it was the whole hour, because they don't have a timer. After the massage I wanted to go in the sauna room & tub with jets, but girl in the front said they were closing at 8:00 pm. I felt rush, I didn't enjoyed all amenities. So don't book your appointment at 7:00 pm. They also have lockers, robes, sandals. Massage was $60. read more

Just to let you know anyone who buys their facial on Groupon you have to pay a 15% which is comes out to $10. something and I didn't know about this until the front desk told me. Great massages my Linda ( two visits: 80 min and 50 min), request her by name. I started a new job recently that is very physically strenuous. Linda took care of all the knots and aches. Woke up the next morning like new! The facilities and amenities are top notch. Clean, quiet, everything you would expect at larger spas like Burke Williams. My first visit here. I got a facial and massage. I also used the steam room and the divine bath to soak in. The spa is very clean and the workers are all very nice. The robes are nice and the service I received was good. The only reason I did not give full stars is the quiet area to relax is nice but small. And everything was very zen and peaceful until 2 women decided the quiet area was the office gossip water cooler area! It made me very uncomfortable to have to listen to them talking so loud about people in the office, being catty, and blah blah blah. I left early because there was no more relaxing to be had. I was here for a 02 lift facial and deep tissue massage. Massage is 5 star, the massage lady was super sweet and did a good job, the facial was however pretty disappointing. Bianca seemed like a sweet person however I feel like she was just laying on different creams on my face and it was very basic and nothing special, i didn't feel like my skin improved at all and it feels like it's something that I could have done at home by myself. The facial was suppose to be 50 minutes but the whole process wasn't even 40 minutes which I don't think I got my money worth. After the mediocre facial with disappointment I was gonna use their steam room and take a shower to wash the oil off from the massage, then discover that the steam room is not working, and there's no hot water in the shower! Surprise, surprise. I put my clothes back on with oily hair and body since I couldn't take a shower, and decided to eat a banana that they had in the quiet lounge area, of course the banana was bad, it's probably been there for at least two weeks that it was black and disgusting. Overall the only star I would give for this place is the cleanliness and the massage, everything else I do not recommend. read more

The spa was beautiful with great amenities (pool, gym, sauna) but I was not impressed with my facial. I feel like they were just putting creams and scrubs on my face and quickly removing them. Didn't even get rid of my blackheads. There were no recommendations on my skin, which I didn't like because I want to know how I can improve my skin care. I did ask a question because I wanted to know how was my skin and all I got was "it was very dry". Like okay I knew that already. On a Tuesday, I felt tension in my inner thigh. With a half-marathon coming that Sunday, I panicked that my physical therapist would not be able to book me on such short notice. Solution: get a massage. I went in for a 50-minute full body massage on Saturday with TONY and explained my situation to him and he took care of my whole body, but also paid special care to the area I was having the most issue with--he used oils and salves of peppermint and eucalyptus and other such products and they felt amazing. The spa in this hotel is a nice getaway from the chaos happening at the casino one floor down. The quiet room had comfortable chairs and the entire facility was very very clean. Let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem! It's small, but clean, professional, and offers all the amenities a "bigger spa" would offer. You need to call first for appointments and you can come early for their facilities. I got a 50-minutes massage with Kevin he was so nice and knows what he is doing. I've had some great massages all over the world including Thailand. So I saw a deal for this place on Groupon and decided to buy it since I lived a couple miles away at t he time. I scheduled my appointment for a Friday afternoon, my appointment was set up with TONY. When I arrived the receptionist informed me I had access to the facilities before my scheduled massage. So I used the steam room and shower to help me relax a bit before my massage. When it was time for my massage Tony came to look for me in the Spa Lounge, He introduced himself and was very polite, he immediately asked me if there was any areas that needed attention or were sore. I did mention to him that my some inner muscles near my right knee were a bit painful from a strenuous hike the week prior. With that said we proceeded with the massage. The massage room/table had very fresh and clean linens and was very comfortable and Tony made sure I settled into the massage table just fine and made me very comfortable. Tony proceeded with massage using some great oils. As the massage went Tony made sure to make me feel at ease and had great technique. He applied just the right amount of pressure, it was not to soft yet not too firm, just right. If you ask me it is very rare for a masseuse to get the pressure just right, well at least that's been my experience. In this case Tony was right on target. He also kept in mind the injury I mentioned to him and he applied some eucalyptus oil to help with the pain and it felt amazing. While the massage was going the music was playing and it was just perfect, Tony went with the flow of the music and it help to make it an even more pleasant experience. The massage was for 60 mins but it felt like it went on for hours do to Tony's great techniques and attention to detail. He massaged every muscles on my body making me feel so relaxed and so so good. When the massage was over I felt like I was high and floating on clouds because it was such a great massage. I will definitely be returning for a massage with Tony whenever I'm in the LA area.
