Bikeeny Caffe has the best coffee in the area, if not the best I've ever had. Years ago I was only drinking Dunkin' Donuts coffee, which is all water. I'd have to venture out of city to get a Starbucks or some coffee from a specialty cafe like Bikeeny. I love to try new coffee shops when traveling out of state. I love the custom feel. Well Bikeeny, you have ruined all other coffee shops for me! Nothing compares. Bikeeny grinds their coffee beans with each order. They have various types of milks, flavors, and even some sugar free flavors. I've had cold brew, cappuccinos, lattes . All amazing. I love everything in here and how much time and pride they put into each order. The sandwiches are amazing. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order, but the few minute wait is worth it. If you are looking at the glass display sandwiches, don't worry! Those sandwiches are under bright light and look plain. But they still have to pressed! I had the pesto tomato mozzarella sandwich and absolutely loved it. A lot of my coworkers get the turkey sandwich. Now the bikeenys ... those pasty things you stare at every time you order your coffee ... try them! I have never had such a pastry. I try one a week, and definitely order out of my comfort zone. The blue cheese Sriracha or the Nutella ... OMG! That is all for now as my boyfriend just walked in the house with my usually crafted ice vanilla hazelnut with almond milk and a bikeeny. I love this newer spot in Malden! I just recently came across this little gem, it's about a two min walk to the train station and is the perfect spot to run in and grab your coffee before heading to work. The staff is what probably makes this place so awesome cause they are very warm and welcoming even at 7am in negative degree weather. The drinks are good, but my favorite things to get here are the bikeeny pastries themselves - they always have a new selection and they're all so good! I second the feta dill bikeeny, as well as the apricot. The two guys who I always see working are so friendly and overall is a nice vibe. This place is simply nice. The drinks are above average but pricey. The bikeenys are tasty but small. The seating is plentiful but mostly wooden chairs (wish they had a few more big comfy couches). Nothing is knock you socks off amazing, but it's all very enjoyable and I find myself continuously coming back. I will say the people behind the counter are amazing and love chatting you up to try their favorite items. "Elon's Latte" is a must try - basically a caramel chocolate latte. The blueberry lemonade is fantastic and perfect balance of sweet/sour. The bikeenys are a 1 bite snack, which is a bit steep for $1.50 each. That said, the cheddar sesame seed and feta/dill ones are really good. The honey almond is great while the cinnamon is just cinnamon. read more

I've been hoping for a coffee shop like this to come to malden!!! Great egg sandwich with cheddar cheese and runny yolk, just like an egg sandwich should be. Solid cold brew. Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. The owner, Serg, is the man! All of the employees are very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is great with plenty of seating and free WiFi and the location, selfishly, couldn't be better as I live down the street. The coffee is hands down the best in the area. I've tried many of their beverages, including their latte which was delicious, but something keeps bringing me back to their iced dark roast. The difference in taste and caffeine from Dunkin Donuts' watered down "coffee" is night and day. Their breakfast sandwiches are always fresh and authentic and their grilled cheese sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. If I remember correctly, it included 3 different types of cheese. I've been in denial thus far, but I've now come to terms with the reality that I'm addicted to their pastries, especially the Nutella infused ones with powdered sugar on top! Genius. I highly recommend their cinnamon and poppy seed pastries as well. I haven't tried many other ones YET because the Nutella keeps calling my name from the second I walk through the door. I like to leave my dog outside while I run in really quick and grab something to go but they always tell me my dog is welcome in lol. I can't say enough good things about this Eastern European gem in Malden or their products, you just have to check them out yourselves. Good cafes with this type of hospitality are hard to find and far in between.
