Cute and clean bakery located on Pleasant St in Malden. We tried a few Chinese deserts which were reasonably priced and as good as any I've had at my favorite Chinatown bakeries. CCs are accepted for amounts of $10 or more

If you do not want to trek all the way to Boston for the best mango mousse cake (May's cake house) , then B2 is your second choice without having to deal with the traffic and parking situation in Chinatown. The cake was moist and fresh. Mangoes were not in season so it was not as sweet as I expected. The regular 6inch is roughly $25 while the mango mouse is $32.34. They have other sizes and flavors. Aside from cakes, they have your favorite sponge cakes, rice dumplings, egg tarts etc. At the BBQ station, you can order soy chicken, scallion flavored chicken, duck, char siu, ribs etc (See photo for prices and options). For the adventurous eaters, they have tripe, liver, duck feet and so on. Want a meal out of it? You can order rice with one, two or three Bbq choices. Staff here are super polite and willing to sell bbq items for half a pound. In Chinatown, you will get rude service, plus they always force you to buy more than half a pound. In the fridge, I saw frozen buns (probably char siu and custard?) No tables but near the entrance I saw a couple of high chairs so maybe for folks who want a quick bite? Again, did I mention the staff are wonderful? ESP the cute old ladies would love to chat Cash and credit cards accepted. Street parking

For those of you waiting for a roast meat & Chinese Bakery in Malden, it quietly opened today! Some tradition and some unique baos, such as chocolate and green tea flavor pineapple buns, cheese dog bun, and more! Still new, but excited to try more when they settle in. Buns are fluffy and cheap! Fluffy Sponge cakes are also a must! 1 block from the new Malden tous le jour on pleasant st or Malden center. It's next to spicy world!

A new Chinese bakery in Malden Center with many bao and cake offerings. They also offer bbq meats as well at reasonable prices. I got half a roast duck for $15 and the meat was very juicy and skin crispy! There are many varieties of bbq meats to choose from and can't wait to try more!

Since Eldo's closed in Chinatown. I had to find a place with good cake and we found this place. It's just as good as Eldo's cake, maybe a little better in a way with the filling inside the cake. I drove from Newton just to get it and it's worth the trip. The boas and other pastries is pretty good too. I highly recommend trying this place. Oh they also have BBQ items too with or without rice. I definitely will go back.

Bought some pork, pork floss bun, bag of toast, milk tea. Pork has very think crispy skin, nice 5 layer pork belly and not overly salty. Pork floss bun was okay, toast taste just like the ones from Tous Les Jours but reasonably priced $2.75 (TLJ $7.99). Milk tea was good, strong tea yet very silky, I'll suggest getting it with less sugar though. I'll definitely be coming back regularly!

Pork Floss bun is my favorite! So light and airy and yummy!

One of my favorite pineapple buns , personally I like them better than the bakeries in quincy and Chinatown

This morning I bought crispy pork roast, it's yummy but they gave me big BONES instead of MEAT. For the amount I paid it's not worth it.
