Let me start this by saying that I did not want to like this place, just on principle alone. I always kind of take issue with locations that provide scantily clad girls primarily for the visual pleasure of men. It grosses me out and, frankly, pisses me off. However, I did decide to stop by on our recent trip to Phoenix/Scottsdale because it was directly across the street from our hotel. I admit I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service was phenomenal, and the servers went beyond to be pleasant and helpful during my visit. My experience was fast and friendly. Plus, the peanut butter blended is hands down the best damn, high calorie, frozen desert concoction I have ever had in my life. I ordered 2 toasted coconut iced coffees and a blended peanut butter on a separate order. The blended peanut butter was paid for in cash, it was amazing. The other 2 drinks were paid with a credit card. They were just ok but what really ticks me off.... I was told my dinks were $9.00 and change. They took my credit card inserted into the Square on there phone and handed it to me to sign. I thought it was strange I could see the total or choose to leave a tip but I signed it. When I got home and viewed the receipt they had already added a tip after telling me what my total was. I ended up paying $12.00 and change. Leaving a tip should be left up to me and so should the amount. This was stealing and it was dishonest to me as a customer. I WILL NOT BE BACK!!! Edited review..... After my last review was posted I was immediately contact by management/owner. Not only did they rectify the issue but they also helped me get a punch card and added a couple of free drinks to replace the ones that were not so tasty. I wasn't expecting anything, but they went above and beyond my expectations. I will be back, and I feel I can recommend them to my friends. I didn't realize this was this kind of place. It was very uncomfortable for me to be there in my car in the drive through with so much skin in my face. The coffee was ok- very high in sugar. I guess this is the ideal place for men to come to. I just felt bad for women after going through there. Looks like I can't comment on your feedback, Ben. They convinced me to try their caramel coffee, the nude, and it was outstanding! Cute girls, sweet and beautiful. The coffee tastes warm and smooth, not burnt like Starbucks nor overly sweet like at Dutch Bros. I still like Dutch Bros for dessert sweet type of coffee, but I like bikini beans more for regular coffee, a more natural taste not overloaded with sugar. I get splendas and light cream. Well, after a year of coming to Bikini Bean, I am done. They have lost my business for good. When I first started coming here I worked with the then manager to get a drink that was sugar free, non-dairy, and low caffeine. We ended up with the matcha tea late that I have been paying $4.06 for for a year now. I was told by her to make sure it was rung up as a greet tea with almond milk. This was from the manager. I went to the Scottsdale location a couple wakes ago and the girl there rang it up at $7.35. I am not about to pay over $3 more for the same drink. That is absolutely ridiculous! I just went through the Phoenix location, and was told they informed everyone who works there that they now have to charge the $7.35 price for my drink. I can go to Dutch Bros and pay less for a larger drink. You have lost my business Bikini Bean, which I don't really think they care about. I usually go to either location 2 to 3 times a week. It's really too bad, I like the girls there a great deal. They have always been very sweet to me the entire time I have been going there. Especially Ashley. She's such a doll, and was very helpful with this situation. Good luck with your nursing career! Too many company's are like this place. Into nothing but greed instead of customer service. So my husband and I decided to give this place a try after he saw it on the chive and it was much better than I thought it would be. I am a Starbucks lover but this place just dethroned them. Ok, so yes the girls are in bikinis which is what I am sure gets the attention both negative and positive of lots of folks that pass or stop by. Each time I have gone, the staff has been friendly and courteous, unless you take an unsolicited photo, don't do that by the way, you come off creepy and rude. These are people working, they don't go to your place of work and photograph you, so be nice. The coffee has been great each time I go, often for the Large Nude on ice, but they also have the drinks with peanut butter cups or Snicker bars which provide that extra kick when needed. One thing I like is that each time EVERY customer is handed a drink, they ask if it tastes good and if not they will remake you one. I was greeted as soon as I pulled up into the drive thru by an angel, formally known as Jada! She let me know that the PBJ drink was her favorite also and that I had excellent taste! The flavors I chose for my green tea were strawberry and pineapple. The strawberries tasted like they were grown along the pacific coast bursting with flavor!
