I drove an hour here because they were the only studio offering later hot classes on weekends. I paid 30$ for 10 days which I found a great value. I will say, I am not a yogi; I can count the classes I've attended in my life on my hands. Multiple times throughout my 10 days I was upfront next to the instructor (my actual nightmare). The instructors made corrective comments to me about my placements and posture and as uncomfortable as it felt in the moment, I am glad for it! The instructors are extraordinarily knowledgeable and great at what they do. I laughed, I cried, I dripped sweat until I slipped in my own puddle tips: do not forget the towel , or TIGHT hair elastic, and sandals for easy off and on. In many yoga classes it's almost like everyone wants to forget they're surrounded by so many sweaty people, like they can't wait to grab their mat and run. Here, it is embraced and celebrated and we "send good energy to our neighbors" and everyone fist pumps and I had no idea how transformative breathing as a class could be. I also forgot to mention in my review earlier- Laura's 4:30 class always starts 5 min late and ends 10-15 min early! Thats 15-20 min of Bikram that customers are paying for but not getting!!!! The other teachers are skilled and always provide the full 90 min you pay for. read more

Let me first say, the instructions are very knowledgeable. They're great at explaining what to do. But today I left feeling taken advantage of, hurt and heartbroken because I've been looking forward to trying them out for years. When I signed up, I was told it would be $35 for 30 days as an introductory period. After that, the prices are, in my opinion, high! I believe it's $120 for 30 days, unlimited. Then today, a different instructor said it was only 10 days and showed me her sign. So, I paid $17 for a drop in. When class ended, I was exiting the yoga room, an instructor asked me, "did you just wear your shoes in the room?" I said, "yes." Wide-eyed, she continued, very loudly, unbelievably condescending and rude , " NO, absolutely not, never again, never again!" I walked out, shaking my head and deciding, I would never go back to that place. I believe you should have respect and treat someone as you would like to be treated. She could of politely explained her policy's. The way she spoke to me wasn't necessary. Ive been going to group training classes for over 15 years in MA, NY, NH and RI and I've never been treated unfairly. I've always had a positive experience and this is shocking to me. It's unfortunate, because so many people seem to have good things to say about this place. read more

This is by far the best Bikram Yoga Studio in NH! I have been practicing here for 3 years! The studio owners name is Laura , she is amazing and adds something special to the studio! All the teachers are friendly, helpful and Knowledgeable! They offer locker rooms with showers for both men and women! The studio is always kept clean and neat! Visiting from out of town, I received a very friendly greeting from two yogi's as I walked in the door. The lobby is very nice and bright and has a great deal of merchandise to look through. I was about 15 minutes early and there were a lot of people coming and going. The location of the "shoe drop off" being right by the door made it very hard to take my shoes off as I came in There was no bench and everyone was on top of everyone. I had the same issue leaving. The lobby is plenty big, having a seated shoe area would be lovely. Tara was the instructor and she was great; though I DID feel she rushed some postures a bit and I noticed class ended a little early. I've been taking bikram yoga classes in my hometown for a couple years. Another thing I noticed is that people were talking before class in the yoga room, which is fine, but is a big no-no in my home studio. I thought this was standard Bikram practice, maybe not. I may have overlooked the shoe issue and given this studio 5 stars however, the rug in the practise room is terrible. It appears to be your run of the mill, regular old industrial-style carpet... complete with stains and a terrible smell. I was extra sad to learn that the end of the standing series we would be instructed to straddle the mat (rather than turning our bodies to actually stay on our mats). I honestly did not want even the bottoms of my feet to touch this rug. You've GOT to get proper Bikram Yoga flooring! Super spacious, incredibly clean, and very well-run hot yoga studio... easily the best I have ever visited. Also plenty of natural sunlight pouring through the windows to add to the already warm vibe present throughout. The BYN staff are well-trained, friendly, and sometimes there's a super-sweet pooch (or two) to great us at the door. (I just love that they're dog people!) The best part for me is that they offer a few music classes each week, and they have become my absolute favorite! Bikram Yoga Nashua sets the bar so high that I feel like no other studio in the area even comes close. A++ read more

Bikram Yoga Nashua is Amazing! It is Nashua's best kept secret. I lived near Mine Falls Park for one year and always considered giving Bikram Yoga a chance. Finally a friend of mine invited me to Bikram and I gave it a go. This time I became addicted! The 30 dollars for 30 days is a steal and you will see a change in your body, mood, confidence, posture, skin, flexibility, focus, and determination. The Pilates classes are amazing as well - you'll feel long, lean, and toned with perfect posture. Laura does a lovely job running her wonderful studio. All of the instructors are enthusiastic and kind. It's okay if you aren't a yogi, you can have zero experience, the point is to show up and give it a go. The heat relaxes your entire body and your muscles become more flexible. Even if you just lay on the mat the entire class, at least you are meditating and sweating. Your skin will be smooth and your head will be clear. Eventually you will look in the mirror and see progress and strength! It's a very rewarding experience. Do yourself a favor and try it out! Your body and mind will thank you! I'm now in VT practicing Bikram in the Upper Valley but I owe a huge shout-out to everyone in Nashua for kicking off my love of Bikram Yoga! I was lucky enough to start my practice with Laura when she was a staff instructor. I was very new to the yoga but realized even then how much she influenced my practice. Over the years I've had the opportunity to practice all over the place. I am now able to practice in Nashua a couple times a week and realize how lucky I am! She has created a little yoga oasis where everything she does for her studio and her students is done with 100% care and 100% effort. She truly has a passion for this yoga and it is so obvious from one class the amount of thought and time she puts into her business. The heat and humidity are spot on. The studio is always clean and tidy and she always gives you 100% of her expertise every time she teaches, along with alot of other fun stuff she has added because she's just cool like that! This place is HORRIBLE. Walking in the door I was instantly assailed with the intense smell of BO. They don't wash their mats between people, they just hang them up to dry in the entry way where they stink up the place. I tried to get past it and figured maybe it was just the end of the week stink, but it got worse. The class leader stood in one place and barked orders loudly at us like some sadistic mix of drill instructor and used car salesman, rattling off steps in the poses as if he was trying to up the bid on an auction. "Reach back, way back, how back? Far back, way back..." On and on at mach 5, like the adverts for Micro Machines when I was a kid. I didn't enjoy this place at all and I'd never send anyone to it. Places that use the Bikram style should be incredibly conscientious about sanitation and odor, and this place was wretched. read more

I took my first Bikram class over 3 years ago and was greeted by Norman, the owner at the time. It was a great class, I felt AMAZING after. I came 8-9 times during the 10 day intro since they encourage you to come as much as you can. I was hooked right away! Love/hate thing, it is tough but never boring since you always can go deeper into the postures or improve your form. Norm opened the Chelmsford studio and ended up selling this studio to Laura back in the Fall. He couldn't have left us in better hands, she is awesome!! All of the instructors are great, plus a great group of students at this studio. Warning, you may quit your gym and only want to go to Bikram! read more

Bikram Nashua is a top notch yoga facility, but what really makes it great is the owner, Laura Richardson. I have been doing yoga for over 10 years and Laura is hands down one of THE BEST yoga teachers I have ever had. I was very excited to try this place but when I entered the room I was immediately hit with the worst smell I have ever come across. I can assume it's because the area is carpeted but when I tell you that the smell was bad I mean it was REALLY REALLY BAD!! The instructor, Cindy, was aware that I was a first time customer but failed to provide any tips or guidance of what I could expect during my first class. I was not a big fan of her condescending military tone throughout the class and I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was very odd, to me, to see adult men posing in their underwear and I felt that the people in class were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Since there are so many yoga places around I am positive I will find a cleaner, more professional and friendlier place to try. read more

The instructors are generally interested on how you feel after the session. They do talk as if they are giving out orders but I believe that is to increase a students mindfulness and concentration. When they go off the script, people get distracted. I've done hot room before so I know I am used to the smell, but they do have a sanitary spray they use on the rental mats. read more

The instructors are great, BUT the studio SMELLS repulsive. I couldn't help but feel nauseated while laying on my yoga mat. A word of advice to the owners, carpet seems like feeding ground for mold, which might be causing some of that smell. read more

Spacious practice area, bathrooms are clean and there's lots of room to move around and have your privacy. The lobby area has a great Zen like atmosphere and the instructor is knowledgeable and personable. The practice room temperature was perfect, it has hot and humid, everything I expected. What I didn't like was the tempo, alternating between poses was rushed, way too fast, the instructions were being shouted out similar to a military style, there was no calm. Towards the end it was confusing to alternate between savasana and rabbit or turtle. Like most studios I expected savasana to be the moment you relax and let go and focus on your inner self and what you've accomplished. Now the most disturbing part of my experience there was the smell of the practice area. The inescapable stench of mold was so pungent it toke more than 24 hrs to get the smell out if my system. I would assume it because of the carpet flooring, all heated yoga practices I have been to have wood flooring that sweat doesn't seep in to. Carpet absorbs the moisture and combined with the heat is perfect breeding grounds for mold. I unfortunately will not be going back due to the smell, once that is sorted, I'd love to return. I am approaching two years coming to Sweet Heat Yoga (formerly Bikram Yoga Nashua). This studio and the people connected to it are amazing. I am not your "typical" yogi in terms of age, weight, body shape, athletic ability, or flexibility. Though I've had much to work on and my pace has been somewhat slow, I have felt incredibly supported by Laura, the owner, and all of her teachers. They strike just the right balance of instructing, supporting and challenging their students. They appreciate all of us, from beginners to veterans. Laura has done a great job of moving her studio forward with some physical improvements and by expanding the class offerings to include Pilates and other forms of yoga - there really is something for everyone. The community of fellow yogis is so welcoming - this really is a special place. Whether you are a seasoned yogi looking to change things up, or a newbie looking for something that will work out your whole body, calm your mind, improve your overall health AND make you feel part of a wonderful community, this is the place! read more

I absolutely love Bikram Yoga. I think the teachers in Nashua are excellent, but the facility needs some TLC. The carpets in the yoga room are disgusting, wreak of a men's locker room and need to be replaced badly. No amount of shampooing is going to solve the problem. At 105 degrees and 40% humidity, this is one of those activities that you either love or hate, and I happen to love doing this. I have been taking classes here for nearly 7 months with the exception of a few vacation trips this year, religiously go at least 5 times a week I can't say ay enough good things about how this yoga has transformed me both from a physical and spiritual/mental standpoint. The teachers are all friendly, helpful and encouraging and are very keen on helping everybody. One particular aspect I really love about the teachers is the fact that they don't let you slack off in class. If you're in there on a regular basis, they'll push you to do your best, even when you don't feel like it. If you're looking for a low-key, lazy, quasi workout, this is not for you. Since coming here, I've lost my beer gut and cut 4 inches off my waste, my confidence and attitude has been boosted as has my overall tolerance for stupid people. Don't expect them to honor any of there prices, even if you call ahead to confirm them because when you get there they will try to tell you you can't get that price and just try to blame whoever isn't in the building at the time. A place that has to lie to people to get them in the door is not worth your time. Also in the middle of the ghetto i wouldn't leave a decent car parked in the parking lot if you value your car and or your safety. read more

I went in a few months ago to try Bikram for the first time, and was a bit intimidated (mostly of the heat).... the staff is super encouraging/helpful & the people that attend are some of the sweetest people you can meet.
