Wish the BG bowl didn't have rice mixed with the farro. Ordered the crab Rangoon, calamari with the sweet chili sauce on the side, Caesar salad with blackened salmon, no croutons, BG bowl and a side BG salad less pecans and cherries. $86.82 Their house bread is not warm, it reminds me of an airy focaccia. Their sun-dried tomato oil dip is quite delicious. The calamari is okay, a lot of tentacles than the rings, more zucchini filler than I would expect, not enough calamari rings. Left all of the small tentacles for my hubby, not for me. The crab Rangoon pouches are creamy. The Hawaiian chili sauce isn't my jam, it's not for me. Didn't work for the calamari or the crab Rangoon. The salmon on the Caesar was medium cooked or medium to well. It had to go back to the kitchen to get fully cooked. The Caesar salad was ok, although it had croutons, which we asked to not get any. The waitress and the manager both walked by and asked my husband if everything was ok. My husband nodded and said it's ok. Guess my opinion didn't matter? My waitress attempted to take my salad away from me twice before I was done with it. The BG bowl reminds me of a teriyaki sauce so much. We did have to ask for a couple of our drink refills or put our glasses at the end of the table to get our waitresses or others attention.

This place is an old Big Boy or at least looks like it. Randomly wanted bbq without having to…read moredrive 30 plus minutes to get it so checked this place out in person. Place just feels like it needs a good scrub; that's how it left me feeling. You also will need to change your clothes after cause you can't escape the smoke. Not sure how anyone volunteers to sit on what looks like a nice patio while the meat smoker is sitting right next to it. Even inside feels a bit grimey and smoky but if you like that smell you'd be in heaven. Hostess was nice but the waitress seemed a bit on edge/ feminist/ snotty. Not too friendly and made some comments that made me wanna let her know she can eff off at any time. Commentary about who's paying between a husband and wife or claiming you get two beers out of one line (that's a new one for me... I wouldn't want two different types of beer coming out of the same "line") and that the fact I didn't like the flat, "soft" ipa I sampled, as it tasted old or just not very good, trying to just prove me wrong... seemed like she had it out for me as man. Also wouldn't allow my kid to have chicken and fries instead of ribs from the kids menu so had to order a full 1/2 smoked chicken instead. Don't care for her attitude at all. Food was eh. Couple of bright spots- beans were smoky and sweet, good mix. The chicken, both wing and 1/2 were overly smoked and the skin became hard in a lot of parts. Had to scrape the chicken off the skin to eat it. Mac and cheese was good too. Cajun slaw was just vinegary without much of a Cajun punch. Queso brisket dip was on the sweet side. Didn't really get much brisket that I could find or taste in the dip. We couldn't finish all our food; just got sick of the flavor/ taste. Interesting sauce with the rock n rye Faygo bbq sauce. Could definitely taste the pop influence. Their XXX spicy sauce was okay; wouldn't say it's ghost pepper or unbearable. It's got some after spice which I liked. Really like the attempt they are making with the place and I hope they get their meats from the neighboring butcher as I've heard good things about the market place meats in the same strip. Oh they also charge you a 3.5% admin fee with every card purchase... p

None pretentious bbq place with lots of sitting inside and on the small patio. You place your order at the register and they bring your food to the table. Food was delicious and steak cooked to perfection. Looking forward to coming and ordering a family meal.

The burger was made out of a blend of beef short rib and brisquet with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and a specialty sauce. The sauce while good was something I would change in the future to straight up mustard as I think the burger would have been better based on personal preference. The burger also came with a side where I chose their house fries which were excellent and one of the better fries I have had in the area. Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant has a compact footprint which limits the amount of tables this business has along with counter seating. Something to keep in mind if you are headed here during busy dining hours like a Friday or weekend nite. Staff was very friendly with prompt service and nice followup throughout the meal. Overall a nice dining experience where if Burgers are your thing you should definately check this business out.

I really don't like giving bad reviews either, but I have to be honest. We waited almost a hour for our food. The place is not too big for seating, but there was one waitress. It took us 5ish minutes to be seated and another 10 for our order to be taken. The service was just very slow. As you know, I come for the biscuits and gravy at any place. My biscuit was hot, but my gravy was lukewarm which was odd. The flavor of them was just ok. The eggs did taste good. The breakfast burger I was told was good, but not something to rave over. I did not like that they had well water only. They definitely need to get an osmosis system. They offer bottled water but charge for it. I feel that's disappointing because you're forcing your clients well, not tap, water but they can buy a bottle? Well water has a very different taste and it was almost sour. The waitress however was a nice person. She was doing her best I'm sure. I'm sure the 2 cooks were nice people as well. The flavor of the food was not worth the wait and me giving it a second try however. I want to come back for the burger specials, but scared I'll wait a long time again for food.

Kids and parents alike could not stop raving about the place. The food was excellent. The service was beyond excellent. I felt like I was in Miami throwing a poolside party. The ambiance couldn't have been better. There were two separate occasions where I needed to make major changes to the plans, both included rescheduling the dates. I spoke to a gentleman named Anthony who accommodated all of our requests. It felt as if he treated our party like his own. The best part, after the party was over and everything was already paid for, he called me the next day to make sure everything was perfect. He didn't need to do that. He could've been done with us and moved on to the next party, but he called and made sure we were satisfied. I will be referring this establishment to anyone who will listen to me.

The staff could not be any nicer, very accommodating, checked in on us tons, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and take care of us. When I first arrived, my friends thought they had happy hour, but they discontinued it at some point I guess. But the gentleman, perhaps a manager, gave us special drink prices, which was very kind. I had their cosmo which was a good price and was okay. My friends ate here. They had the grilled Caesar salad which looked delicious. They said it was very good. Another friend had the wings, which she enjoyed. I also though the Maurice at another table looked really good. I love a Maurice and would consider coming back with friends for food again. But the menu was super pricey which makes me hesitant because things are tight at this point. But it is a cute club house and I am happy it is open to the general public and not just golf club members. (although I do not golf in general and do not even know if this is a private club or open to the public).

We came to eat some apps, "football bowling, do some axe throwing too. We had reservations for our department from 2-4pm. It kind of looks like an office building. Then again I guess it doesn't matter what the exterior looks like. I ordered the blackened honey glazed salmon on the Michigan salad with no blue cheese and balsamic dressing instead. The Michigan salad is made with iceberg lettuce, blech. The first salad came with blue cheese atop it, gave it to another colleague. The salad was sub-bar, would be better with mixed greens, the dressing is definitely not balsamic, it tastes super sweet and syrupy, like the raspberry vinaigrette. The blackened salmon is good at least. We ordered cheese bread, nachos and hummus for some shareables. The nachos and hummus weren't too bad. One of my colleagues got the BBQ chicken wrap and liked it well, came with the sweet potato fries. Our waitress, never got her name, was great to our department team. The blackened salmon is really good. They should put that on the menu. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing is a little too sweet, too sweet. It was full of customers and had a bridal event and memorial at the same time as having almost full capacity inside. Wait staff was new and being trained and attentive. Large parking lot and really a maze of rooms available inside. Staff not mask wearing. More for your situational awareness than anything. Not a lot of veg options- didn't see any vegan- and could be wrong about that. A lot of cheese and meat, some fish. Good that we had was good. It's a bit out of the way for me and will keep it in mind.
