I had heard good reviews of this renovated restaurant. Its attached to the golf course so I was not expecting too much. We were very happily surprised! The menu is quite good. We had the brussels sprout appetizer and the sweet & spicy shrimp. Both were excellent. Very fresh and large shrimp. For entrees we ordered the scallops, the rib eye and the steak tips with the house side salad. Everything was prepared well and was delicious. We shared a cookie skillet for desert. I came here with friends. Had a good time. I like the decor here. With the wood floors, dark chairs, and white walls, very modern chic. The staff could not be any nicer, very accommodating, checked in on us tons, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and take care of us. When I first arrived, my friends thought they had happy hour, but they discontinued it at some point I guess. But the gentleman, perhaps a manager, gave us special drink prices, which was very kind. I had their cosmo which was a good price and was okay. My friends ate here. They had the grilled Caesar salad which looked delicious. They said it was very good. Another friend had the wings, which she enjoyed. I also though the Maurice at another table looked really good. I love a Maurice and would consider coming back with friends for food again. But the menu was super pricey which makes me hesitant because things are tight at this point. But it is a cute club house and I am happy it is open to the general public and not just golf club members. We stopped in on a whim because we could get a reservation on what seemed to be a busy Saturday night everywhere. The ambience is modern, service and staff were friendly. Food was so-so, not the worst but not hot coming out of the kitchen. I had the lemon sumac chicken - the chicken and veggies kind of drowned out the mashed so I wish they'd put the off to the side more. My partner had the grilled barramundi was OK, nothing wonderful. The fettuccini Alfredo starter might have been the best thing because it is so unique. They had a couple private parties happening or about to happen so I feel like they were putting their all into those events rather than the general seating. There was a lot of shuffling around happening which added a feeling of disorganization overall. I think it has a lot of potential but there are kinks to be worked out. read more

At the Maples golf course. Need reservations for the dining area. Seated right away in the bar area at a half booth. Mike is waiting on us. Music is techno, not what I would expect for a golf course restaurant. Their burgers look good, two handed for sure. Ordered a chicken Alfredo eggrolls, spicy maple chicken wrap with a side Caesar, scallops, maple power green salad. $84.80 Our waiter asked if we wanted to order drinks. We told him someone else came by to get our drink order. He frowned and darted right away to his colleague to say something to her and grabbed the drink for us to bring it to the table. Seemed like some drama there. She was just trying to help him out. There is wood maple leaf to hold the citrus slices on the drinks, very fitting for the restaurant. Cute. Apps takes a bit, food too. Patience needed here. First apps out 20+ minutes or so. The chicken Alfredo is crispy, super greasy though,, it's just subpar. A lot of eggroll dough, some hollow spots at the ends, not filled. The Alfredo sauce and the tomato dipping sauce is quite bland and boring to me. Underwhelming. It looks better than it tastes. Main entree was out maybe another 10 minutes after the app. The kale maple power green salad was okay. The Caesar and the spicy chicken wrap were okay. One of the 4 scallops tasted and smelled like ammonia to me. Didn't taste so good at all. The waiter had the chef smell it. He came back to tell me the chef told him, it is fresh today and is perfectly fine. They have practically sold out of it. Not sure about that. My husband said his half scallop bite tasted funny to him. We set the plate aside, didn't even want to eat the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and artichoke, since it was all touching the scallops. We were told it was all fine, that it is our tastebuds and gut telling us it's bad that we were wrong. It's not sitting well with my stomach at all. Not good! The waiter finally smelled the ammonia on the scallop and took it back to the kitchen. They took away the unfinished plate of scallop, potatoes and veggies, but the waiter said they will not take it off the bill. We didn't even ask to take the scallop off the bill at all. Rather rash and swift denial. They clearly don't believe us. They gave us a dessert as compensation for the bad scallop. Not sufficient for $34 for bad scallops if you ask me. A cheesecake for bad scallops and a churning stomach. Absolutely unacceptable! My dinner tonight was a kale salad, greasy chicken Alfredo egg rolls, ammonia infused scallions and a meh cheesecake slice. The NY style cheesecake is a softer cake than I am used to, it's so-so. Not sure about the cinnamon and sugar all over it, seems like an after thought to make it taste like something special. It's not special at all. The cheesecake slice was listed as a Birthday dessert. Comical given it was a terrible birthday experience tonight, if it really was my birthday today, which it is not. Our waiter isn't friendly at all and not so attentive or on the ball. Customer service is lacking. The manager nor the chef never spoke to us at all. Waiting to pay our bill to get out of this place and as far away as possible too. It's taking a while to pay our bill and there aren't that many tables either. It's irritating watching our waiter at the bar chatting and taking his time to Coke to our table. My stomach is feeling off and he's keeping us longer than I want to be here. We took some active charcoal pills as soon as we got home. Don't want any further issues after the bad scallops. We celebrated a birthday with 11 family members. I recommend this restaurant for good service and good food. The brick chicken is fantastic and I tried the rasta pasta and lamb chops. The pasta was super creamy and rich with a peppery spicy coming late in the bite. Recommend you add the salmon to this well executed dish. Yeah this place is a BANGER! I wanted to try a new place for dinner & drinks and this place absolutely delivered. Upon walking in we were greeted by the hostess and the Lady was given a rose and we were seated immediately (made a reservation weeks in advance). Our server Michael was cool, walked us through the menu and was very attentive. The vibe was VERY adult and chill, with music in the background that wasn't loud with TV's placed around the rooms. The food was top tier we both ordered the spicey shrimp for an appetizer then the lamb chop dinner with whipped potatoes and broccoli. For dessert we shared the strawberry short cake. Their drinks were also smooth yet strong enough. Management came by to check on us and everyone else. This place is that deal coupled with the fact that another establishment we love is not far from here...... yup we'll be back. read more

Wow!!! What a way to end birthday month! Maples was absolutely outstanding in service, food and atmosphere! That's the restaurant trifecta if you ask me. Located on a golf course, one would not expect a classy, chic, contemporary restaurant. It reminded me of a spot you'd find in Manhattan. The menu was well rounded and the prices for entrees were on point. I ordered the lamb chops which were very good and my bf ordered the chicken. He was in heaven! The most tender, juicy chicken.I think I've ever tasted. We ended the night with a shared blueberry cheesecake which was absolutely divine! It was so creamy and the crust....OMG! The place was practically empty for Wednesday lunch--not exactly a buzzing vibe...but that will never stop my show lol! The décor was charming and the space was very spacious. I started with the Chicken Alfredo Eggrolls, a dish the waitress couldn't stop raving about. Rave, where? Sadly, they were a major letdown--dry as dust!! Alfredo sauce? Nowhere to be found. Next up was the Strawberry Feta Salad with blackened chicken. The salad itself? Delicious and worth every bite, okay!! The chicken? Blah! Bland, forgettable, and definitely not worth the extra $6. Since the dinning out group is always like to try new places along with favorites, I saw this on Open Table and decided to try. Everyone there was so happy we did. While during the day in the warm weather, it might be harder to find a parking spot, there was plenty by 6:30 pm. The dinning room also has plenty of room. Comfortable seating in a warmly welcoming room. From the beginning to the end, the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and there before needed. Our server's recommendations was spot on. The food was good and more than fairly priced. The calamari appetizer was the best all of us ever had. I enjoyed the smash burger and the half I took home was just as good as the first time. The Caesar salad was the creamy one not the oily one. The berry sorbet was perfect way to end the meal. We came on may 10th. We went to dinner at Maples with my friends. The food was spot on, and the presentation was excellent. Service was outstanding, and Andee was a great server. Which I found snarky & unprofessional but all she could focus on was talking about her upcoming birthday trip to Miami. For the entree price everything should have been hot. The lemon sauce on the artichokes & grilled tomatoes was also extremely overpowering, sour & ruined it. The fish however was tasty but I doubt I'll go back unless it's for the egg rolls as a carry out another customer told me they were really good. We had to ask more than once for someone to have her come to our table as she didn't check in often. We gave our honest opinion about the food which did not have a lot of taste, rather boring. It was not hot. The special we had was small and one in our party left hungry as it came with no sides. Table bread basket would have been great. It is a little pricey. It was very nicely decorated inside and you didn't feel as if you were sitting on top of each other as it is not a huge space. We visited for Mother's Day with my 85-year-old mother, my sister, myself, and three guests, and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. After waiting more than two hours -- despite repeated assurances and explanations -- we were never served our food. Throughout that time, not once did an owner come to apologize, acknowledge the situation, or even offer something small while we waited. To make matters worse, while the hostess informed us they had stopped seating guests so the kitchen could "catch up," one of the owners seated friends who arrived after us. We were eventually placed not in the dining room, but in a sparsely furnished room with harsh office lighting, damaged walls, and an undersized table with mismatched folding-style chairs that could barely accommodate our party. Our server was kind and apologetic throughout and advised us after about an hour that our table -- along with the only other party in the room -- was "next up" in the kitchen. After another 30 minutes passed with no food, we decided to leave. We could not even locate anyone to notify that we were departing. As we exited, several other parties were also leaving after experiencing the same issue. That evening, I sent a courteous message through the restaurant's "Contact Us" page simply to share our experience -- not seeking compensation, but hoping to convey how disappointing it was for my elderly mother on what should have been a special occasion. Given the circumstances, I expected at least the courtesy of an acknowledgment or apology. Unfortunately, none was received. read more

I ordered it medium rare and after cutting into it was closer well done with barely any pink in the middle. I was willing to look past the fact that it was completely over cooked. But as I took my first bite there was Absolutly no flavor whatsoever. I left it untouched for about ten minutes and figured it would be a waste not to eat but I found it so hard to finish on the account that it was completely tasteless.
