Many workers make the wait short and they seem to work well together like a well oiled machine, no time for chatting or sitting on the cell phone, these kids work hard and always have s smile on their faces. Bill seems to be a community guy, supports youth recreation, which I usually consider a sign of a decent business model, give back to the community, offer an outstanding product and the community will love you, that seems to be the case here. read more

Was visiting Nashua,NH for business and needed a place to go for lunch. Found this place on Yelp and saw the great reviews so we decided to give it a try. Food was super fresh, great taste, and we were NOT disappointed! I got the steak bomb,which was huge and absolutely worth it. Huge flavor with very reasonable price. Not much room to eat since it is a smaller place, but there is an area with 7-10 chairs if you needed to eat there. The staff makes great subs in record time. The subs are overstuffed with tomatoes, onions, and pickles if you get a ham and cheese sub for example. Most of the tomatoes, onions, and pickles fall out when you try to eat the sub so you need a spoon to clean them up. The cheese if you order ham and cheese costs extra! The prices are ridiculous, costing $10 for a SMALL meatball sub. I know you are saying "you get what you pay for", but come on $10 is very pricey for a sub and they never have any discounts for age or valued customers as many restaurants do. I guess they don't need specials of the day, etc. since they have a great following! To go to Bill Cahill's is a rarity due to his pricing. The last time I saw Boll at the shop I asked him why the subs cost so much and he told me he has to purchase the fixings. Awesome subs, and quick service! A very small place with only a few seats at a bar along the windows, but the food is worth fighting for parking and waiting until you get back home to eat. Their hours are a little odd - only open until 7pm during the week, until 3pm on Saturday, and closed all day Sunday, so brave the crowd for lunch or an early dinner. The steakbomb is amazing. The steak is tender and there's lots of it. The Italian comes with lots of meat and toppings. When you ask for pickles and hots, they are overflowing from the top of the sub! It's definitely time to update my review of Cahill's. We're now in the habit of phoning in our order soon after they open on the days we want subs for lunch. While orders requesting NO salt or pepper are often ignored, I'm increasing Cahill's rating by a star because the overall consistency of size and quality of the subs at lunchtime has been very good. This place is busy for a reason, you know, so it pays to be patient even if you didn't call ahead and have to wait a little bit. Everything at Cahill's is prepared by order. Without a doubt the best subs in the area. I always get the steak bomb because it is seriously awesome. My daughter likes the turkey sub. The subs are very generously stuffed with meat and veggies. The service is fast. Now the cons: The inside is cramped and there's very little seating. There's hardly any parking. The menu is limited to mostly just subs. It's in a very out of the way spot and you'd probably never see it driving by. But ya know what? None of that matters. Cahill's has been in Hudson for as long as I can remember. Always great subs. Got the Roast Beef today and it was excellent. They have great toppings and the sandwiches are huge. Now that Spring is here again we go to Cahill's get a sub and picnic at Benson's. Just wish you were open Sundays so we could do that on Sunday also. read more

Loved it, old school place with a small but ample parking lot, steak sandwiches are the go to item here, its chopped steak (Philadelphia style) with great bread, its quick food as they need you in and out because of parking, the Italian sub was great with cubed veggies, I did not encounter and "Soup Nazi" when i was there, just young friendly girls behind the counter, I am not a seafood guy but the crab sub has a lot of people talking about it read more

I tried Bill Cahill's today for the first time at the prodding of my girlfriend. I woke up feeling slightly under the weather and wanted nothing more than a good steak and cheese and Italian sub to elevate my day. I was close to making the drive to Souvlaki's in Manchester but caved to my girlfriend insisting we try Bill Cahill's because it is close by. Just by looking at the photos, I had a bad feeling that this place only gets such good reviews because they give you SO MUCH FOOD MAN. The portion sizes were certainly large but my suspicions were confirmed after taking one bite of the steak and cheese. It was completely devoid of any flavor. It tasted exactly like USA subs in Derry, which means I wouldn't be surprised if there was no salt and pepper in the kitchen. Moving on to the Italian, it was a whole lot more of the same. There was way too much lettuce and the "chopped" tomatoes were about the size of a 9V battery. A bigger problem though, was that the bread was completely soaked from the oil and vinegar. It was not possible to pick up the sub and then rest your hand on the sofa without staining it. All in all, the subs here were completely forgettable in terms of flavor but yes, they STUFF those rolls with a bunch of C+ tasting food, so you will end up full. read more

Being from NY I am used to getting a giant deli sandwich very easily. After moving to Nashua I realized that's not the case over here! A lot of delis only sell meat, they won't make it into a sandwich for you and the most popular places to get subs are either the chains like subways or the local pizza place which aren't always the best. Bill Cahill's changed that for me!! Their sandwiches are huge and unlike the chains they actually have more filling than bread. If nothing else, the reason I am posting this updated review is because I feel the need to boast some more about the Freshness and Quality of their Subs and Salads! This little gem of Hoagie Heaven is a little obsecure in it's location as its almost literally a "Hidden Jewel." Located in Hudson, NH. (Barely) off of Route 111 West......It can be driven by easily without seeing the extending sign at the left entrance. Anyway, my recent menu choice, (which by the way is limited) was the Homemade Tuna Salad on Syrian pocket. One size only for pocket subs, but believe me..... It is stuffed full throttle with goodness! Prices are very competive for salads and grinders given the portions. Service is always swift and effective. After experiencing the Steak Bomb, Italian Bomb, Robust Roast Beef, and Tuna Syrian Pocket.. ..There seems to be only one more task for me to explore. The rest of the menu! This is a quest that usually only bucket lists enjoy. But after that quest is crossed off that list, I will have enjoyed the truly finest, freshest, tastiest Sandwiches in Southern NH. I have been going to Cahill's for years and never had an issue. I noticed on my bank statement that I was charged an extra$10 on top of the $19 I paid for two subs. so I called Cahill's and jerry answered the phone I told him my situation which he did not believe told me to come down with my bank statement. After showing both jerry and the owner my bank statement I was continued to be called a liar and they told me to take it up with my bank. I also received negative comments from the young staff. I am disgusted in their reactions. I am not a liar nor do I need $10. If you buy anything from this sub shop do not use your debt card double check you statement the next day to see if more money was taken out and good luck with a refund!!
