I will definitely be returning!! The staff here is AMAZING! I ordered food a few days ago, unfortunately I was not able to pick it up in time before they closed due to work. When I called the store they informed me that they were closed. Three days later they remade my food and allowed me to pick it up. I was so grateful. Thank you! EVERY SINGLE TIME MY HUSBAND AND I COME THERE IS AN ISSUE. The customer service is terrible and the managers are very inconsiderate when THEIR employees mess up people's order, they make the customer pay extra for the employees mistake. They always forget the ranch and the fries are almost never fresh. If you want extra anything and you paid for it, they literally always forget it so don't even bother paying more for extra This location is absolutely ridiculous I can't believe people still come here. read more

Conveniently located on Highway 90 on the eastbound side, easy to get in and out of if you use the intersection with the traffic light. Getting out and heading west might not be easy if you don't use the street with the traffic light. This is one of the newer style Bill Miller's BBQ joints and not one of the old ones built in the 70's and 80's. I'm not sure how old it is, but it is one of the designs with more of a rustic feeling like they have been building for the last 10 years or so. Taller, vaulted ceilings with a nice vibe inside. They weren't very busy around noon time on a Saturday when I visited, but staff seemed very confused. There were only two people in front of us, but the staff seemed very confused on how to process the orders. It was really strange compared to other Bill Millers. For those of you not from the South Texas area, Bill Millers is a regional chain restaurant with good BBQ, but it's not gonna be the best in the area. It's a bit less expensive, a bit quicker and well worth the visit. They are A-Ok. They also have good fried chicken - they actually started off as a fried chicken stand decades ago before they became known for their BBQ. This will be the last time I will be going to Bill Miller's for a quick bite to eat during my lunch break. I ordered my husband the #3 which came with 3 sides but the brisket looked like a a hungry man's dinner with slices of shredded brisket. I couldn't go back to correct the order because I ran out of time. I called back and they offered a 1/2 of brisket. When I double checked the receipt and my bank account they charged me EXTRA when my original order was $24.70 and a pending charge on my account for $32.09. Ladies and gentlemen. Check your accounts for extra charges on your account. Bad food does not cost $32.09! I will update when I receive a resolution. read more

Lunch:. The turkey tasted salty and it had an unappetizing look to it. Salad: lettuce and cucumber slices looked like they had been frozen- no romaine is used. Pure iceburg with no nutritional value Husband ate tasteless fried chicken. Boo! Bill Miller used to offer bread (2 kinds) and butter at the self serve station. Now it's just cheap pickle and onion. What the heck? You jack up prices, serve smaller portions and no bread or butter because of "the pandemic". Just an excuse to be cheap. . I think from now on, I'll only eat at BM for breakfast. Haven't eaten at Bill Miller in years. Will be my last. The one meat plate was barely 6 ounces of meat on both plates I ordered. Not sure when 6 ounces became a portion. Fountain drink was $4. That's the price of a beer. Real bbq places cost much more than here but worth the price to go elsewhere. read more

I'm a Texas boy and I've eaten a lot of really good barbecue. I have to say this was very disappointing. Granted the only thing that I tried was the brisket and the green beans, but if they are any sample of what the rest of the food taste like I would not ever come back. The brisket had no rub on it at all. It lacked all kinds of flavor including smoke. Myself I always like a really good simple rub to create a nice crust on the outside of the brisket. The green beans tasted like they've been flavored with a can of tomato paste. I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea. When I go to a barbecue restaurant I expect my green beans to taste of pork belly. The only reason I gave them a two star rating is because I only tried the two items, and I'm assuming that some of the others may be better. read more

Not sure why this place has poor reviews. I can't speak of their BBQ because my husband and I stopped her for breakfast on our way back from Garner State Park. Good country breakfast food and breakfast tacos, a la carte. The biscuits are big and dense and delicious and good coffee. Also cute western decor inside. I'd like to come back to try the BBQ and pies. read more

Bill millers Is so good I really like their breakfast. I also love how they have amazing customer service all over Texas. I have been to the one in Corpus Christi, great customer service. I really hope they put one in round Rock one day . read more

Friendly and clean, but chicken tenders are like chicken jerky. The quality is inconsistent. Sometimes you get really good fried chicken, then others it's dry and over breaded/cooked. I guess it'll keep you alive. Pulled pork sandwich is good. read more

On saturday I bought a gallon of tea at Bill mills BBQ at a discounted rate because I had my own container. Monday in Hondo, Bill Millers did not honor the same discount. At this time and with so many people buying from them (the lines are long!) why wouldn't they honor this long standing policy of theirs. Kind of sad. read more

This restaurant is great! The workers did not blink an eye when I ordered 55 chicken strip plates. They told me it would take about 10 minutes and then they got to work. My students were served promptly with quality food. The service was fantastic and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for groups. read more
