a minute agoNEW I haven't played pool in ages, but I picked it up again & decided to invest in my own cue this time around. I shopped them online, but I am the kind of person that likes to try before I buy or at least see what I am getting. There are a couple of shops in town for billiard supplies, but I ultimately ended up at Billiard Factory & I am really glad I did. They had a great selection of cues & tables at all different price points. And, they let you play a bit to test them out. Robert R. was really helpful not only with the cues, but with all my table questions as well. He helped me pick out a case for my new cue in order to get a combo discount. I am a few months away from diving into a table purchase, but I like that they customize the felt, deliver and set up, and include all the accessories. Spend your money elsewhere! Still waiting on my pool table, they said that due to COVID they are running at least 6 weeks behind. No big deal we are now past 6 weeks and the only time they communicate with me is when I call them and every time they say "It will be on the truck next week". Today they said at least another 2-3 weeks. This is the worst customer service I have seen on a long time. Zero communication and have missed every time line THEY made. There are too many other places in town to waist your money here. After talking with Ryan it took a little over a week to have my pool table set up and done. You can tell Ryan really takes pride in his company and works hard to make bad situations right. I am very happy with the out come but also sad that the owner has to get involved in the first place. My wife always wanted a pool table but never had the space for it. Moving in to our new home we realized space was available for a game room. Visiting the Billiard Factory in Henderson we met with Robert who was very helpful. The Olhausen table was the one we liked and purchased. The table was delivered and setup with some backup folks. After using the pool table, a friend mentioned the drawer was not closing flush to the table. My wife noticed one of the pockets the felt was starting to wrinkle. One of the pockets when the balls would fill it up sometimes a ball would drop out. Called Robert and he sent Bradley out to take care of everything under warranty. He went over every part of the pool table and took care of the issues we had. The drawer needed parts and he said the slate was slightly out of alignment. While waiting for parts in the meantime, we installed a billiard table light Robert had ordered for us. Bradley and Ronnie returned later and took care of the drawer, stretched out the felt, leveled the slate and aligned the table under the billiard light and answered all our questions. We are not experts with pool tables but feel very comfortable that the pool table was done right by Bradley and Ronnie. They said you would notice the difference playing and they are correct about that. We are extremely pleased overall and really enjoy our first pool table. Went there today to check in out while I was in Henderson, they didn't have a lot of pool tables but that's okay, I was looking at the pool cues. They had a lot of selections of cues to choose from but you can always purchase from there catalog. The staff was nice and courteous, she asked me right away if I needed help. What I like was their layaway program, 10-20% down and pay whenever you can. Good stuff right there for anyone on a budget and want a new cue. They also sell chalks, balls, racks, cases and other accessories for your pool table and pool cue. If you're around Henderson, stop by and check them out! read more

Great selection or tables, sticks and darts! I came in to look at darts and was treated extremely well they even opened pretty much all the darts and assembled them and allowed me to shoot them on their dart board! I probably spent 1hr playing darts with all different kinds of darts and was never pushed or rushed or got any sense they were in a hurry. They were extremely helpful and patient!! Super happy. I never grew up with the money to have a pool table in my home. Now that I can kind of justify such a purchase I'm glad I went to the billiard factory. All of the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging without being pushy. I was going to purchase a very nice Presidential model that was well displayed and very attractive. After some discussion a couple weeks of thinking and some thought on the pros and cons I'm happy to say I was talked into getting an Olhausen that was on sale. A much better all around table in the end was $150 more with the sale. Otherwise, it was a much more expensive model. Thankfully it was on sale. The installation was on time, quick and they cleaned up after themselves. Start to finish this was an excellent experience. read more

From the moment I walked into the store till the time my pool table arrived everyone was professional and did a beyond the best job. They do not try to high pressure sell you, I walked in and wanted a small pool table for my game room and told them my price range and they were able to set me up with a beautiful used pool table that was refinished with new bumpers and felt and looks like a brand new table. The setup guys were also awesome unfortunately I had to work and my wife doesn't know a lot about measurements but they found the perfect placement for the table without me being there. After writing this review and sending a message on their website about our issues. The store reached out to me right away and tried their best to fix our issue. There was a piece of our pool table that was defective and the replace wait time went back to 6-8 weeks after a month wait. I think you can see how frustrated we were. We found a way for our table to be completed by having the part swapped out with the one from the store. Everything went smoothly this time in a way. I'm happy there is a lifetime warranty on the table, the wood part. The crew that came this time did actually make a tiny ding on the top of wood part of the table and on our wall going up the stairs. We patched the wall and painted it. For the table, if we have any other issue, we'll have them deal with this ding then. read more

I ordered bar stools for my kitchen and had a hard time finding what I wanted. I stopped at the Billiards Factory and they had a very nice selection and exactly what I wanted. Delivery took just a bit longer than I had anticipated and I had to call to get the delivery date but they were very accommodating and friendly. The stools are wonderful and go perfectly. They are built quite well. They have free assembly and delivery which is awesome. If you need a nice set of bar stools I would definitely recommend stopping here. read more

He's earned five stars in my book for his knowledge, willingness to think outside the box, top notch service, diligence, follow through and overall character and warm personality. Not only did I get the pool table I was hoping for, but Robert coordinated with another quality supplier to ensure delivery and installation were done with similar professionalism -- all for a reasonable price. As background, I'm doing a major remodel of my home outside of San Francisco and my wife graciously agreed to swap out the piano for a custom, contemporary pool table. So I began what turned into a nationwide search for the right pool table. I found some interesting tables in Florida and NewYork....if I was willing to triple my budget to over $40k, I wasn't. Next lesson: the industry is very fragmented with few national suppliers making quality control hard to monitor/understand so after talking with nearly a dozen independent suppliers, I decided to look at Olhausen, a old line supplier with a wonderful reputation and quality products that i believe our vastly superior to another national supplier-- Brunswick. The only problem was the design options didn't fit the decor of my house-- until I met Robert. Unlike other Olhausen distributors, Robert understood that for a reasonable price, i could have the table built with literally thousands of color combinations! So, the search was on. After getting samples of several finishes, we locked onto a glossy ebony on macassar combination for the apron and legs with a black lacquer finish on the rails and feet. It's gonna be awesome! No, i haven't received the table yet. Olhausen is building it now and Robert has agreed to ensure timely delivery and installation post a very unpredictable conclusion to the construction process of my home remodel. I don't write reviews very often, probably once a year, but i feel that strongly about Robert's ability to ensure final installation is performed with the same professionalism as the "specing" process. You should too -- that is talk to Robert before you make s final decision to buy a quality billiard table ...no matter where you live. read more

So we took the plunge and purchased our first "real" pool table despite being square footage challenged. The entire buying experience was fun, informative, and stress free.
