The staff at this location are amazing, understanding, and lenient (as long as you communicate with them). The manager, I didn't get her name, is friendly and easy to talk to. That comes in handy when you're going through hard times. I had to pawn something very special to me, and I forgot the due date. I was also waiting for $$ and I should've called. I went in late and my item was on the sales floor. I went into straight panic mode. They were very understanding and removed it off the sales floor and only made me pay the original loan and fees. They're the real MVPs. I've dealt with other pawn shops in the past and the service was always garbage and they tend to look down on you as if we should be ashamed for needing money. The lady helping us was nice, but I was trying to sell my clarinet and the "manager" or whatever (the other girl) who probably doesn't know a thing or 2 about instruments, barely looked or touched my clarinet said that there was damage and water damage in the clarinet, I haven't touched that clarinet in 2 years, and it was fine the last time I played it. There's no damage at all, and she said that all of the pads needed to be replaced, I replaced all of the pads a few years ago, they are still fine. And I even looked and checked to see if they were good still and they are! I use to shop at this store years ago but seem to have un necessary conflict with Earnest the Old Manager. So I just stopped going in. Today my neighbor asked me if I knew a place to buy gold and I informed him to check into EzPawn . Well once inside I noticed Tyler the assistant Manager was now the Store Manager . They couldn't of given the position to a nicer guy who was always took a professional approach to my disagreements and one of a few employees who upheld the integrity of this business. Because I am familiar with this area I was very happy to find a pawn shop to sell some jewelry to. They were very busy when I came into the shop, but all 3 people working acknowledged that I was there. The 3rd person actually called a 4th person out to help me. The person that helped me was no less than the Assistant Store Manager Tyler. I also want to say that Vicki, Jenna and Ernest were very pleasant, helpful and answered any question I had. I had brought in quite a chuck of jewelry so it took a little time. So people lets be realistic, I brought in the jewelry to sell to pay for a divorce. Meh, it's a pawn shop I usually just window-shop here to check out their lenses however I struck gold with my last visit. They are having a deal going on that any DVD non Disney for $0.50 and box set DVDs for a dollar so I was able to stock up for a few bucks. Pawn shops are tricky you have to do your homework and compare prices to see if you are really getting a deal. However they do offer layaway which is helpful. Also you can always barter and see if the asking price is the final price wink. read more

Most items in the store are labeled, "Don't Pay Retail." And you won't if you shop here. You'll pay much more. Save your money and shop elsewhere for the same items at a much lower price. Like most pawn shops, they're working off the notion that if you sell something to them for far less than it is worth, they'll be able to sell it to some else for way more than it is actually worth. Any quick google of a price in the store will return something online, or nearby, much cheaper and in better quality. read more

I stopped in to buy diamond earrings, was charged $750 plus tax for over $800 and paid for them, then was told that I had to pay another $750 the price was wrong, basically extorted for double so I refused and was told the money would be refunded to my bank witch it wasn't! Have now contacted corporate and waiting on them to look into it, next call is to my bank to stop payment and to the BBB and FTC to report them for theft. Total scam place. I pawned some music equipment here once and when i came to pick it up a day later big suprise it was missing a knob. If I could rate this place 0 stars or -10 stars, I so would!! We had never used a pawn shop until we came here. Tell ya what, never will we ever go to another one! Took an XBOX one in, was given a receipt, but no money. Here we are a week later, after we were told numerous times that they were waiting for an approval letter from the place we bought the game system from to make sure the system wasn't stolen (for real?) found out the employee who accepted the XBOX and gave us no money, was in fact fired for taking merchandise and stealing from the company.
