I've gone there two times now and have been impressed with both technicians. They are so clean and neat. They are as meticulous as I am when doing my own nails. I do understand that a photo will never match completely because we are all different but they had my daughter looking like she had sloth nails. The tips were put on her skin or too far toward the tip of her natural nail. They also weren't the right size for her finger. It is now August 30th, one week since she had the nails put on and six have already come off. As you can see from the photo, the acrylic is completely uneven and you can see where there are spots that the nail was applied to the skin. There was 1 other person having her pedicure by a man, so a kind woman named Christina offered to do my mani. I assumed she was on shift. After a very rushed dry mani, she had me rub my own lotion on my arms and hands and told me she recently had painful hand surgery and was only able to use one hand...for a manicure. My hands were already covered in filed dust or else I would've left. Cut to the pedi and she proceeded to dip my foot in their basin, and then quickly pull it out and get it ready to paint. When I asked if she was going to use the pumice afterwards, or even lotion, she became agitated and told me I should've asked for "more service" if I needed it. She and the man proceeded to talk about me in their mother tongue. He finally decided to come grate my now dry foot and aggressively peeled away perfectly healthy skin while telling his now-waiting clientele to wait. Immediately after painting my final pinky, he grabbed my things and shuffled me to their dryer. All other clientele were either wlderly or look like the Antonia crowd (iykyk). Now, on to the the tea party. A super busy salon and spa, but they have their process down to a science. This is by far the most pampering nail salon I have ever experienced anywhere, especially the spa pedicure! The experience in the chair is fairly standard, but with the addition of special scrubs and creams depending on the spa treatment selection. Then you're escorted into a darkened room, made comfy in a recliner and covered with a warm fuzzy blanket and treated to 10 minutes of pure HEAVEN while a massage tech makes your feet and legs feel amazing. Dipping your feet in hot paraffin is also part of this experience. I can't recommend this enough! There are employees who's main function is to provide shoulder massages to clients, and they give an actual massage, not just a little rub-rub on the shoulders and some fist pounding on the upper back for 60 seconds from the same technician who just painted your nails. Although there are signs on the tables to request, you need to press the button to request a massage, both at the manicure table and at the drying table. As I mentioned, they are very busy and sometimes won't see the turned sign, but the will be pinged when the button is pressed. Just be sure to tip the massage tech separately, and I promise it's worth it! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, offering water, green tea or a glass of wine.
