Very disappointed in the service at Bill's. After calling in to confirm they had a specific part, actually saying they had 3. I was sent out to the yard to look and found none available. It was an hour drive to get there and the part wasn't even available. I would absolutely not make the trip unless they put the effort into going and getting the part and having it in hand. They did say Sorry, sorry, sorry. I asked them " because I made the trip for nothing 2 hour round trip" if I could possibly get credit for a part I may possibly need in the future. They said no. ( not that sorry). Personally I would check elsewhere for any used parts first! read more

I ordered a carrier from Mike, its on an 05 Grand Cherokee- UPS apparently lost this order- and for some reason I'm not receiving confimation of refund on this part. I was refered to the owner Greg...was on hold 6 minutes as he didn't pickup. He was busy- SO AM I. I need the credit for 350.00 as soon as possible. I appreciate your concern in this urgent matter. I ordered a used passenger side visor for my 2009 Volkswagen Eos and it arrived very quickly and in nearly perfect condition (there is a plastic guide that you can use to place the visor before screwing it into place and the guide was broke and glued together and it broke immediately when placing the visor into the slot it goes into, but it did not hinder the installation or mounting). They are ok. You need to know the parts market price and what it is worth on other used car sites to make a judgement if their used part is worth the money. You can pull parts yourself, however they still charge an arm and a leg even without their own labor pulling the parts for you. Case in point, I wanted to pull some vintage truck seat belts out for a project truck. The main guy there Greg wanted to charge me 50$ a piece, for the two retractors and two center belts for a whopping total of $200. I explained that these were moldy, frayed belts out of a mouse infested 1978 Chevy and that I would need to restore and have the webbing replaced. He then thought he was giving me a deal knocking 15$ off a piece since I was there to "pull" the parts and didn't need to send one of his guys for labor. By "pulling parts" I mean removing 6 bolts easily accessible in the cab (15 minutes tops). Needless to say I walked out since this was not worth my effort or time in 32 degree December weather to pull belts and get absolutely bent over on the price after pulling them out of the truck. While walking Greg gave me a strange look like "what did I do" and didn't even say have a nice day on my way out. These guys just wanted to take me for a fool and my wallet. I've done business over the past 5 years buying used VW and Subaru parts and this will be my last time using this place for parts. read more
