The whole experience was not good from the get-go. When we arrived we waited by the front counter patiently for a few minutes while 5 or 6 employees walked back and forth without greeting or asking us to wait to be seated. Inside is cute, outdated but charming. The service was okay - our server was not very warm towards us and I'll leave it at that - the gentleman that delivered the food was the only pleasant person in the establishment it seemed. The value of the meal was too expensive for what we received in my opinion. We spend just about $40 on 2 eggs & toast with a side of corned beef hash, and bills big breakfast which consisted of 3 eggs, sausage, toast, home fries and pancakes. The corn beef hash was unlike any other hash we've ever had, it tasted like mustard and didn't say anything about mustard on the menu. Neither of us ate very much of it. The toast on both plates looks like they just buttered raw bread, a far stretch from being called toast. The sausage was cool, I'm thrilled they didn't offer a brown and serve patty; and it was like a real sausage shaped into a patty, my complaint is it was Italian sausage, that's a very specific type of sausage to offer for breakfast and should be listed if that's the case. I cannot speak for anyone else but Italian sausage isn't what I think of when i want breakfast. Overall it was lack-luster, over priced, and the service couldn't make up for the first 2 negatives. There are other overpriced diners in the area that give a better meal and better attitude for the same price.

I've been coming to Bills for years and the food and service never disappoints! This is truly one of the only places that has NEVER faltered on my food restrictive requests. I love that I can get breakfast all day and appreciate the weekend specials for something different. The hospitality is always top notch here, they truly treat their patrons like family and are incredibly inviting. I bring family/ friends here often because their homemade bread, bagels, muffins, etc. are SOO good, they're always a crowd pleaser and the space accommodates all ages. Even the busiest of days (expect a line on weekends) resulted in only a 20 min wait, max - they're incredibly efficient and the wait is always worth it :)

I should have stuck with the awesome pancakes I had last time. This breakfast definitely wasn't as good as my last 5 star visit. Service was good on an early Saturday morning. We all got home fries with our breakfast and all of our orders had burnt home fries that none of us ate more than a few bites of. The rest of it was average. I'll definitely stick with the pancakes!

Excellent breakfast, their house corned beef hash is tangy-good. Their bread, bagels, muffins, and pastries are the best in the area.

Bill's is the best place to have breakfast or lunch in the area. Long lines on Saturday or Sunday, but worth the wait.

Good food, mediocre service.. We had our bill two minutes after we were served. The baked goods were tasty as well.

Excellent service. Delicious food. A bit pricey, but it's worth it. Stop in for breakfast. Have some great bread. Have a coffee/tea/cocoa.

Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

The flavors danced on your tongue. Wished we had a few more sprouts. The Cuban Ruben was also a delicious flavor combo. I expected the sandwich to be warm but it was cold. The hostess, who was on was very new, and I don't think she fully understood what I was asking. She ended up telling me that, Yes it was a normal beef Wellington. Cool, so excited, don't see those often. We get there, I order it because I already asked for clarification and didn't think I'd need to ask a second time. As we were waiting for our food, I saw some dishes come out from the table across from us and the waitress said, "Here is your beef Wellington". I realized that it was a concept of beef Wellington, but not a traditional beef Wellington, which is what I'd been worried about. We hadn't seen our server in a while so I went over to the bar and let them know that I wanted to cancel my order because it just wasn't what I wanted and the price tag was $60. I've been willing to pay that if it was what I had my heart set on, but it wasn't. They said they would cancel it. In a little bit, someone then came over, not our waitress, to tell me that I will be charged half of the price of the beef Wellington because I canceled it and it was already made. And of course, I was not OK with that. I once again explained to them that I had called and asked if it was a traditional beef Wellington and was told that yes it was. They said that the hosts are not trained on the menu so they cannot answer questions on them. I then asked what is the point of having someone who is untrained on the menu answer your phones because sometimes people are going to ask questions before they choose to come to a restaurant. I refused to pay the $30, she stated she would have to call the manager back because the manager was not on premises that day and see what she could do. In the meantime, they brought out the beef Wellington that they made and tried to entice me to eat it and I of course said no thank you. Finally, they told me I didn't have to pay. I ordered the stew appetizer. It was very small but tasty, and I was pretty hungry at that point so I'm glad I ordered it. Not sure I'd try this place again, but maybe if I lived closer. Not having a manager on premises really made it tough, it was a massive waiting game to get an answer, and I've never heard of a place blame the customer for their knowledge gaps. I definitely will not be going out of my way to come here again.

I've been here for both of my sisters' graduation brunches, and we always leave happy. It's become one of our favorite spots for a celebratory brunch. For drinks, I tried their new Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte with oat milk. It was a bit thicker than I expected--possibly because of the oat milk. I can definitely see some people loving that texture, but for me it was just okay. That said, it was still a good drink, and the hint of vanilla came through nicely without overpowering the matcha. For food, we ordered a variety of dishes for the table. 1. The chicken and waffles had so much flavor, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly--not too runny, but still soft, gooey, and delicious. The chicken was a little soggy, but it made up for it by being incredibly tender. 2. The blueberry pancake was fantastic. Their pancake portions are huge, so this time we only ordered one to share. It was delicious, though definitely on the heavier side. 3. The house burger was easily the standout dish of the meal and might be my favorite item on the menu. It's simple and classic, but packed with flavor. 4. The chicken burger, on the other hand, was disappointing. The chicken was quite dry, and I probably wouldn't order it again. I think something like pickled onions or another acidic topping could help bring some balance and moisture to the sandwich. 5. We also tried the omelet, which was very good, especially with the goat cheese. What really made the experience special was that the staff noticed we were celebrating a graduation and surprised us with complimentary donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal.
