Absolutely Disgraceful - Bill Would Be Ashamed If I could give zero stars, I would. Ever since James took over the shop, it's been a complete disaster. Bill must be turning over in his grave watching the legacy of his once-respected business crumble into this joke of a garage. I took my Harley in for service and ended up returning multiple times, each visit leaving my bike in worse condition than before. I finally had to take it to a professional shop in the Bay Area just to undo the damage. The mechanic there literally asked if someone was trying to kill me/us. That's how dangerous the work done here was. A new rear tire was mounted incorrectly, causing rubbing and leaving a deep 1/2-inch gouge around the entire tire before we realized what was happening. They also installed used parts without my consent -- completely unacceptable. When I went back to confront them and request a refund, I was smugly told to "take it to small claims court, others have." So, that's exactly what I'm doing. It doesn't stop there. My girlfriend's son took his bike in for a basic oil change and left with a cracked reservoir and a brake handle that literally fell off while he was riding it home. This place isn't just unprofessional -- it's outright dangerous. Stay far away. This shop is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and I genuinely fear for anyone trusting their lives to the work being done here. read more

After 6 months of my equipment being there, nothing had been done ,nor did they recommend I take it else where to have the work done. I went to pick it up and they did not even have it at their shop. It seems they just forgot about the job in general or simply just forgot about it. I took my 1995 Fatboy to Bill and Cody after it had been sitting for about 8 months in storage in the Pacific Northwest. I had the starter replaced previously and the mechanic before did a great job but there was something in the actual wiring of the starter housing. I delivered my bike to Bill after he showed me around his shop. This place is a museum of choppers and bikes. I also had to have some other work done which Bill just said "we will take care of it." Bought my bike a few weeks ago just down the street from these guys. Got a nail in my tire and came here. Bill was very supportive and even recommended that I get my new tire on motorcycle superstore so that I would save some money. He could have bought it for me and charged more but was more concerned about making sure I got what I wanted for the right price. Very honest guy. So I came back with my tire from MS and they mounted it for a good price. He asked if I was military, which I am not. He gives a discount for our people who protect our freedom. That goes a long way with me. He typically does Harleys but has started working on sport bikes because of the amount of military in the area and because Monterey Powersports over charges. At that point I decided I will go to his shop every time I need to. So I called later. My bike is in need of its first maintainence. I have the parts and oil. So I ask for a price for them to do it. The price is higher than I want to pay because I normally do all my maintainence. So he drops the price, deal seems to be that I do the maintenance in his shop with his mechanic for a drastically reduced price because I can do it. Who wouldn't pay to do their own maintenance for the first time with a mechanic nearby to check it out when/if needed? I'll edit this when the work is done to reflect the next transaction.
