I was greeted upon entering. The clerk stopped working on her display, asked what I was looking for then helped me find a layered tank for suiting in all colors available. Frankly, the last time I was in Dillards (Denton, Texas a week ago) I began wondering if anyone worked there. I have now worn two of the layered tanks, steam cleaned and they are holding up very well. Maybe some of the very same items with a much smaller mark-up. Who knew?

The lady behind the desk waved me off and said "that is included" when I came back to get the ring, they didn't try to match up the details at all, and refused to give me back the pieces stating "included means that the jewelry shop keeps the pieces" and they were "too small" anyway. To resize a ring from 9.5-7.5, there's almost 1/2 a centimeter taken off. There's plenty to give back. The manager just lied about it instead to keep the metal, which I did not get a credit for. If the sales lady was upfront about taking the extra metal and keeping it, I wouldn't be upset, but due to the fact that she waved me off and made me think my ask was reasonable, then gaslit me after, I lost a part of an important heirloom to my family.

They order several diamonds in that cut, quality, etc and when they are delivered to them you pick the one you want. Then you have the setting done. It sounds more tedious than it is. These guys will save you a ton of money and you end up with more for your buck and feeling that you really customized your ring. H and A are who the insurance people go to for replacing lost diamonds so you know they can't be as corrupt as the chain stores.
