Terrible service, I had my scag mower there for about over 2 months, these guys simply will not call you back to update on status, had to stop by to get answers only to find out they installed unnecessary part, weeks went by and was told they simply did not have a qualified tech there they would bring another from a different store, even after that nothing good came out of it, new service manager only answered call once after that nothing, went into office to talk to owners, they were not present i only got their names left numerous messages and never got a call back. I went to the service department again weeks later new service manager just told me if i wanted to take it he understood, so pretty much just take it and problem solved. unbelievable, I am sure glad i did not buy a large tractor there. Don't bother taking your mower or anything here for repairs, they wont be able to fix it and after 2-3 months they will just tell you to go ahead an take it. read more

Took my 8 Year old Mahindra Max 28 Tractor to Bill's due to cold starting issues. They tried to charge me more than the stated two hour Diagnostic Charge for figuring out the problem. They came up with all kinds of "issues" that were crap! They first stated that the entire fuel system was contaminated with bad fuel. Wanted to replace all three injectors, the pump, and every other part of the injection system! Then they came up with several other similarly asinine and expensive ideas! Ended up replacing the top section of the wiring harness, at a cost of $2,500! What was the problem? THE GLOW PLUG CONNECTIONS WERE LOOSE! I have found a private tractor mechanic, and Bill's Tractor will NEVER get another dime of my money! read more

Purchased a Husler zero turn about a month ago. Eric the owner was extremely helpful. The staff was friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Rude and over priced. I contacted Bills about a zero turn mower and asked several questions only to have literally one word replies not answering my other questions. Russel Yell was my only contact and obviously had no desire to help me with info or a purchase. As another person stated they run at least $300-$400 higher that other dealerships and this is supposedly after their advertised "military discount". I recommend Vets and others check other dealerships in the area and be careful dealing with Bills, I know I'll never contact them or give them my business in the future. read more

Would stay away from this place. They are overpriced. Went there looking to buy a zero turn while shopping around. I found another dealership that had the same exact machine for $400 less. I told them about it to see if they would price match and they would not go down not even $5. I bought the machine from the other dealership which was a no brainer for $400 savings. A month later I had an issue where my mower was was pulling to the right and would shut off when you get up. I was told that this is some adjustments that need to be made. I took it to bills and they refused to do it under warranty and were more focused on where I bought the machine from. I contacted Hustler turf which even consulted with their in-house technicians which approved the dealership 30 min. To make the adjustments and they refused. They will never get a penny from me. read more

My Dad bought a mahindra almost 20 years ago and it is such a workhorse that I bought one from Bill's!! The sales department was great and had a humorous disposition which made the experience fun! The other dealerships treated me like I didn't know what I needed and deferred to my male companions. I told Troy exactly what I wanted and they got me a better price than any other dealership. My first experience dealing with this company was excellent. Pete in the parts department was very helpful in getting the parts I needed for my Mahindra tractor. The only negative I can say was with UPS who was really slow in getting the parts to me. Highly recommend !! read more

I noticed that after they moved to that separate repair shop building that their attitude did change. They seemed to have a don't care attitude. In the original front building they were helpful to me but the change came with the move to the back. Rick was also very helpful and I think his dad was always sitting in that chair at the front door where he could also hear what was being said at the parts/repair counter. With him gone so was the customer service. Mario was also helpful until the move to the new building. read more

Don't know how BillsTractor keep Mahindra filter packs so cheap but I am sure glad they do, it's a great service they provide. I purchased a complete filter package for about one dollar less than my dealer wanted just for the air filter to fit my emax 25 ,Thanks Bills Tractor I will be making more orders. read more

August 3, '13, I called a few tractor dealerships in the area to get some free advice. I had purchased a new fuel separator filter, installed it, and was seeing raw fuel leak out when the tractor was running. I suspected that I had put one of the parts upside down, but wasn't sure, because the exploded diagrams of this part are not clear. I talked to a guy at Bill's, explained my dilemma, and he said "Bring it in and we'll look at it." I then asked if he or any of the mechanics could offer any helpful suggestions. He replied "You just want free advice, so don't call again." I never will. read more

Run away from the service shop! Had my tractor in for a 100 hour maintenance, a slow moving front loader curling and a handbrake issue. Total with transportation came out to around $3K. Tractor came back and after about couple of hours work on the tractor the front loader gave out completely on the curl. I called the service manager and we agreed that if the problem is related to their previous works then they will fix it for free except the transportation fee. If I don't agree with the diagnosis then they will bring it back free of charge. I made it clear that they have to call me first before working on the tractor. Couple of days later I got a call from the service manager and he said that the tractor is ready to go back and the total is around $1100. I called the manager back and he said the some valve in the loader control is busted (this is the same loader control that they rebuild on the first visit and the one that been working for the last 19 years) and it was not related to they previous works.To make long story short, they waived the transportation fee and I ended up paid $571 which was I think that they had something to do with it when they rebuilt the unit. The day they delivery the tractor back and before the transport truck even left the driveway, I started the tractor to test the loader movements, hydraulic fluids leaked out from one of the hose attached to the loader control unit. I checked the paperwork and it said leak test passed, I am speechless! I have not have time to work with the tractor since, I hope that the loader is holding up. read more

I only needed a few minutes of help from the service department on a piece of equipment which I bought from them. I merely needed 2 bolts loosened with a large impact wrench so I could replace a part. I was denied help and was told I could leave it with them for 5 weeks before they got to it. This is even after I have done $35,000 of business with this place!!! And yet they wouldn't help me for 5 minutes and was going to make me wait weeks for a simple 5 minute job!!! Now with that in mind I'm sure I would have been billed for their expensive minimum service charge. read more

My first business with Bill's tractors was not very good. I called about a tractor to find out what service had been performed in the past. I was told the Tractor had never been in for service when they actually picked it up, worked on it and returned it. My guess "Bill" in service did not want to take the time to look it up. He had all the info he needed to do so, name of owner, model, serial number, etc. So I stopped by today to ask a few questions. Ran into Bill again in service. He cut my conversation off with "what do you need" instead of listening to what I had to say. Zero customer service. I went over to parts- no one at the counter but me as a customer. I asked the guy on computer to look up the service record, but he could not find it either. Another person listening in came over and showed him how to look up the service info. Tractor had been there, but he was in too big of a hurry to go over the info I needed. I purchased two filters at $38 and left. I mentioned the lack of customer service. I was seriously thinking about purchasing a Mahindra. Still might, but it dang sure will not be from Bill's tractors. Worst customer service I have seen in a long time. read more
