I am so excited they have a pet washing station available for only $10!!! My poor dog needed a bath with a prescription shampoo. I was able to take him here and there was a whole room set up to wash and dry. Unfortunately the two dryer hoses were broke and the drying towel was flimsy but for $10 you can't beat the price. The room had a large industrial size pet sink, two drying tables, an assortment of shampoos, conditioner, and brushes. This store also had a pretty good size pet section fully stocked with food, accessories, treats and toys. I will be returning between grooming appointments! read more

Let me post the Good first... "Falon" assisted us and we must have been with her for 30 minutes at the register. She has so much patience and was so helpful. When she had issues with ordering what we needed, the mgr (or asst mgr) came over and had the same computer issue. VERY FRUSTRATING! But because of Falon, I give a five star because it was ultimately settled. Here is the negative. We went to the store to buy (6) $129 chairs, so it wasn't a small purchase, nor their largest. They had three in stock. They tried to get us more, but a computer glitch wouldn't allow it. We ended up driving an hour away to get the other three chairs. read more

I've started going to tractor supply for the huge bags of dog food. Someone can always help with lifting the bag, putting it in the cart and when you're finished put that 44lb bag of dog food in your car. One time I got a $15 gift card for buying the dog food. They also have larger size bags than what you find at other stores. Variety of things for your pets or farm animals. They're going to get a self service dog wash. read more

The sales person we asked for help was extremely courteous and helpful. We ordered an expensive cage but when we picked it up, the boxes were damaged. We later returned it. Many items are available through their catalog, you just need to ask for help to get answers. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I waited for about 20 minutes to get my propane filled. (Went inside they said they'd be out in a minute.) came back out and sat. Finally went back inside and whoever was here for filling the tanks had already left for the day. If you need propane just go somewhere else read more

Bought several large bags of feed. Asked for help loading, never got any help,no one ever there to help load heavy stuff. They don't value their lady customers. Normally come here for dog food, but ended up getting food and carhartt kids overalls. As I was walking out I realized the overalls were a different size than what the hanger said, so I turned around to swap it with the correct size. The manager Leera did my return, but was told I couldn't swap, I had to return and repurchase. She was very short with me, and acted like it was a problem to even be talking to me. We ended up looking around the store and witnessed her talk to Karen (an employee) in a very condescending manner. Karen was amazing and very sweet. Overall Leera made the experience so bad, and I don't know how any employee's work under her. Will be moving my business elsewhere. read more

I'm giving up on this store for propane. Last three times it has taken them 15+ minutes to get someone outside to fill propane. Today it was just shy of 25 minutes and three trips back into the store requesting help. I would have understood if the parking lot was busy and the store packed. It was not. read more

I love this place! They always have really good deals and a lot of stuff on sale. The staff is very friendly and always asks if we need help. They have a wide variety of everything and the dog food brand we buy is cheaper here then at Walmart. The store is pretty clean and the aisles are always clear. read more

Alright, I get every place has bad days but this place was a hot mess.. I wondered around for 15 mins looking for someone to help me.. I even walked in the back and couldn't find anyone.. finally I just got in line at the front.. waited in the long line. Just to ask for help.. finally got some one to help me ( I believe his name was Armand?) he was obviously stressed and stretched to the max. I then had to go back up front and wait in the long line again to check out. The two ladies that were working the cash register looked so flustered and so stressed I felt bad for them. I am just wondering where Matthew Walker was ?? Every time I've gone into that store he is always there and he is always the one to help me find whatever I need I was very disappointed to not see him there specially when they were so obviously understaffed. Shout out to the manager and employees at Tractor Supply in New Braunfels. I purchased a 10x10x6 dog kennel online for pickup at their store. We went to pick it up yesterday evening. I'm not sure if there were three or four employees working when we arrived around 630pm. But it required the manager and one other employee to help us load the panels on top of our van using a forklift. We were loading in the side yard for about 15 minutes when a customer came out to complain that he'd waited in line for 15 minutes just to buy a battery and thought that was ridiculous and poor customer service. He was giving that poor manager grief for at least fifteen minutes while we finished tying down the panels she'd loaded for us with the forklift. She kept her cool, apologized that he had to wait, tried to explain that it took two people to safely load the kennel and then offered to discount his battery purchase. I don't know if he ended up with a discount or not. He mostly seemed interested in venting. I felt bad for the manager but was very impressed with her calm and diplomatic attitude in the face of what was in my opinion verbal abuse. She also had awesome skills with that forklift. Kudos to that young lady! read more
