Second dinner here for me. Sat at the bar. Excellent service with nice cold beer. Had the onion rings to start. Super fresh and hot from the fryer. Ate half of my huge burger... this time tried the lipsmacker burger of the month. Great flavors. With the onions, pickles and fries and bacon. And the sauce. Can't wait to have the other half of my burger for the next day. The side of fries were good. But I would get the sweet potatoes next time or try their other sides. Great local bar. Great atmosphere and great food! We sat on the patio because we have a typical two year old who doesn't like to sit still. This was perfect for us! We sat in the corner where he could quietly play with his cars on the ground, happily entertained so we could enjoy a meal out. The food was delicious, best chocolate milkshake I've had like ever! I will probably be back just for that milkshake lol. I had a Philly cheesesteak, it wasn't the greatest I've had in my life but still good. My husband had a burger that he said was great. Our son had a corn dog and fries. I was so surprised that the corn dog wasn't just a frozen one! His corn dog tasted like it had been freshly deep fried! And the fries were delicious! Our waitress was so nice and polite, super quick too! Such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back, it's always nice finding a place to eat at that just works with having a toddler! read more

Very good atmosphere here. Didn't use the patio. It was pretty cold so we stayed in the main room. None in our party drink so we didn't try any drinks but the bar was pretty large. I had a burger I believe was called "the hot mess". It had guac sautéed poblano peppers and a sautéed slice of tomato. My plate w drink and onion rings was pretty good it was about 16 dollars. Pretty high for me but you could tell the patty was homemade not a frozen patty. The onion rings I believe were home made. All in all a good meal w family. Was a lot to look at as there was many signs on the walls etc and multiple televisions. Would like to return often it is a quality meal for a bit higher price point. read more

Very pitiful excuse for wait staff, ordered through door dash as a pick up order, my fiancé picked the food up and one meal was incorrect and we weren't given another meal, they weren't given our drinks either, I came back in to ask for the food to be corrected and to get our missing food and drinks, they tried to tell me that the door dash driver stole our drinks and food, basically insinuating that my fiancé is a thief, then proceeded to argue with me and claim that we are lying, they were very disrespectful and rude, would not recommend anyone with any decency to order the food from here. read more

Came after the lunch crowd for a burger - around 1:30pm. More staff than customers, maybe 3-4 people in to eat. No hostess up front, most of the staff at the bar in a clump looking at their phones. When they noticed us, the hostess went to seat us elbow to elbow with the only other occupied table. Well, started to, she had to clean it off before we could sit down. Handed us menus, left, no comment of "your server will be with you". After waiting a few minutes with no attention, no wait staff heading our way to at least take drink orders, we decided service or quality probably wasn't going to improve. The only movement we saw was when somebody broke a glass behind the bar, that got some attention from the clump. When we got up to leave, I don't think anybody even noticed. With the cost of dining out these days, if we walk into a business that could care less, we're not inclined to spend our money for poor service. I tried to call for a pick up order. The phone was out of service. So I drove to the location to place a to go order. I asked about the phone and the hostess said they turn their phones off when they're busy. They were somewhat busy but not slammed. One table open outside and 3-4 tables open inside. Most of the bar was open as well. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 order of tots at 1:28pm. The lunch/church rush was over. I didn't get my order until 2:22pm. Ridiculous long wait for a small to go order. No one said anything to me. No apology or explanation. Also no one came in after me. I will not return. read more

We went here on a Saturday to check it out. The service was wonderful, and the food was great. This is a cute little place. We didn't sit on the patio because it was pouring down rain. They have TVs playing sports and it was starting to get a little loud by the time we left, but we enjoyed the food very much and the funnel fries were excellent. read more

This is a fairly new restaurant in Hewitt at was quite busy for lunch and they are looking for help. Our server was young, likely in high school, and was doing what she was told, so when she asked what we wanted to drink and we told her and we were ready to order she would not take it until she delivered the water drinks. From our time of order to delivery of the food was over an hour. This was now past the lunch hour rush. She never came to our table to ask if our food was okay. The manager brought us the bill, then waited and waited. The manager came and got the credit card. He knows what to do but the wait staff doesn't. Not sure I will be back. read more

This is the only review I have ever posted on Yelp but my experience was so bad I feel the need to share it. We have been to Billy Bob's on Hewitt Dr. 3 or 4 times in the last 3 or 4 months. We always visit on Saturday afternoons. I have 3 children ages 4, 6 and 9 years old. Every. Single. Time. the same elderly woman (about 70 or so) is there. Okay, I get it she is a regular. She had a birthday this last visit and overheard her name is Beth. She shouts the most vulgar, obscenity laced language. Foulest mouth i have EVER heard. My husband and I looked at her as if to say "Hey, we have small children here". She loudly told who i guess was her husband that she "Don't give a f*". Employees do not seem to either as we saw other customers who were uncomfortable as well. We will NEVER go back to a place who would rather cater to those kind of people rather than families. It's truly a shame because we liked the food and location but our experience was just ruined each time by the same loudmouth regular. read more

My son loves a big juicy burger and he especially loves a burger joint with plenty of options which is what you get at Billy Bob's. They have a ton of burgers and he has had most of them. His current favorites are The Texan which comes with bacon and cheese and the The Southwest which is topped with fried jalapenos. On our visit he went with the The Texan which looked really good but I would have to order it with no mayo. My daughter had the Burger basket which gives you the choice between fries, tots, or fried okra. She selected the fried okra and she enjoyed everything in her basket. I ordered the the half order of frito pie which was a pretty big for a half order but I was not impressed. For one thing, the chili had beans in it. Texas chili is a thing! NO BEANS. Anyways mine was a minimal effort dish. Fritos, the wrong kind of chili, and melted cheese. Maybe I was supposed to request onions or sour cream or jalapenos since they didn't automatically come with it. Next visit I'm bringing my appetite and trying one of the burgers and the Amaretto milkshake from the Adult Milkshakes portion of the menu. read more

I was excited to go and try out Billy Bob's Burgers. Always fun to try a new place! I could not believe how loud it was inside this place! OMG My party and I could not hear one another at all! It was so loud! Now, the burgers were delicious and the tater tots were cooked to perfection. My hubby and I decided to stop at the Hewitt location for lunch. It was pretty busy from the looks of the parking lot. We dined on the patio. Our waitress was very helpful in describing some of the items on the menu. I chose the Billy Philly and my hubby got the Hot Mess Burger and we shared an order of fries. We received our food promptly. First let me tell you that the fries were plentiful like none I had had before ! They were delicious and addictive. My Billy Philly was filled with flavor and required no additional salt or pepper. My hubby devoured his entire burger while commenting how great it was with each bite. We will definitely be back for more ! read more

The staff is rude. From Management all the way down. I've been to this location twice. Thought the first time was maybe a fluke so we gave them another try. We love the staff at the downtown location and this location is closer to our house so we really really wanted to like it. From the moment you walk in they seem annoyed of your presence. There's zero customer service they all act like they don't want to be there and they have their select regulars and those are the only people they want to talk to. The food taste like it was all frozen before they reheated it. Went back to the downtown location and told them about our experience with this location and we were told unfortunately they hear that all the time. read more

Eaten here a few times. Very good place for a great burger or one of their terrific sandwiches. I just had their Billy Philly and it was delicious. Didn't even take any home, a rarity for me. My wife and I split a basket of sweet potato fries. Service was very good, albeit a tiny bit slow as they were very (typically) busy. That just meant I could have two beers instead of one. We sat out on the patio even though it was 114 degrees. However, they have a great set-up with misters and a really stout oscillating fan that made the whole experience somewhat tropical feeling. We'll the last two time I wanted takeout couldn't order on line, wouldn't take a phone order so I went on, they said it would be an hour even though their restaurant was less than half full. Ok, I see plenty of negative reviews on here about the wait times. I went twice this weekend and waited a max of 30 minutes for my order. This is a small restaurant with homemade burgers and I've waited much longer for fast food and other restaurants. We had great service and the food is fantastic. The wait time for a table is probably longer because it's a tiny joint but they have outdoor seating and a long bar It's definitely worth the wait because like I said, the food is fantastic. My first trip I had a burger and tots. The burger is big and juicy and the order of tots is enough for 2-3 The next trip I had the spicy chicken sandwich with cheese curds. Again both were delicious So, when you read reviews on wait time , think about how long you wait at other places, take in the size of this place and know that it is going to be worth the wait. read more

I love going here to watch the games as they will "spin the wheel" that they have for deals. i came in here Sunday evening and sat at the bar. honestly the food was amazing and of course the alcohol drinks amazing as well. but it was kinda hot in there. one thing i do have to complain about was the way the manager spoke about the other employees about them being hot. she was talking to this lady at the bar. the lady talked badly about a server and the manager went on to talk disrespectfully about the server... everyone else was lovely and kind. but that's just something doesn't need to be brought up when customers and other employees are around. read more
